The Ultimate Southeast Asia Travel Packing List (Watch This Before You Pack!)

So, in this video, I’m going to be sharing with you what I packed for my travels here in Southeast Asia. And just to give you a little bit of context, I’ve been traveling around the region for about 5 months now. And as a matter of fact, I’ve traveled here for a long term, as long as 12 months straight. And I’ve also traveled here for a short term, as short as maybe 2 to 3 months. But this time around, I’ve been here for five months. And every time I come here, I obviously try to pack my things as efficiently as possible and try to get better at packing. And I feel that this time around, I’m definitely much better in terms of packing. And I just wanted to share with you what I pack. So if you’re thinking of coming here to Southeast Asia, this this will give you an idea in terms of what to pack. And I’ll be sharing with you some tips here and there as well as to why you should be packing things and why or maybe why you should be leaving certain things behind. this video I’m going to talk about my packs first and then I’m going to move down to clothing and after that I’m going to talk about the toiletries and then I’ll be talking about the documents that you may need and then after that I’m going to be talking about the miscellaneous items and then the last but not the least because I am a content creator I’m going to be talking about the camera gear. So stay till the end if you’re curious about what camera gear I bring to my travels. But yeah, first things first, let’s talk about backpacks. So, this this is a Wandered 35 L backpack. This can go on as a carry-on. And this is my main bag. I can pack my clothes in here as well as my camera gear. And in fact, this is my main camera/ electronics bag. And then this one is the Wandered 6 L Sling Rogue Sling. This is another camera bag. I will consider this maybe as a personal item when I have to go into flights. And basically all all my cameras goes into here. And I’ve done full reviews on both these bags on my other channel. I’m going to link it down below or I’m going to link it up above as well. And then the next bag is this. I actually don’t know how big this bag is. It’s a Northace bag and I actually got this in Vietnam. I’m I feel that it’s a 25 to 30 L. I am not quite sure, but it it packs a lot. Okay. And if I have to check in something, I would check in this just because it holds all of my clothes in here surprisingly. Yeah, I know. It It definitely packs a lot, but I got this in Vietnam and yeah, it’s been I’ve been using it since. It’s a good way an additional pack for my things. Then the great thing about this is that this one goes across my body, the rope sling. And then this one is obviously the pack, right? And then the great thing about this is that I can carry it by these handles or it also has straps that you could wear right in front of you, right? And if this gets in the way, I could wrap this. Actually, like I like I said, you could watch the full video review on these bags. Just the Wandered bags, not this one, cuz this one I didn’t review it. This one’s straight out of Vietnam. But Wandered is a I believe they’re an American company. But this one I could tie around my waist so that it’s just Yeah, it’s on my waist. And then this one I could wear it right in front of me. So I have two packs, front and back. But yeah, if I was to check in something, I would check in this one just because obviously I don’t want to check in my electronics because, you know, who knows what they’ll do when they when they store the the packs in on the plane. But nonetheless, those are the packs. And I actually I actually have an additional pack, which is this is an expandable pack. I know you might be thinking, “Wo, that’s too much now, cuz I have four bags literally right in front of me.” But this is just a water pack. It’s a 30 L. It’s expandable. But the great thing about this is that I can roll it up. And this one can actually fit right here. I could attach it outside my electronics bag. I only use this if I was to go to the beach or something and I don’t want any sand getting into here, which is my main camera bag. And uh what else do I use this for? for laundry maybe. But that that’s essentially it. This is just an expandable pack. Just something that I could take with me if I don’t want to take my other bags. You could also just get away with it to be honest, but I just I don’t know. I just I just don’t like getting sand in my bag, especially electronics. So, I like to keep everything in here when I’m going to the beach. So, that’s come in handy. And plus, it doesn’t really get in the way. Like I said, I could attach outside my bag or it can go inside my bag, which is not a big deal. But most of the time it’s wrapped up neatly of course inside this bag. [Music] And that is for my packs. And just to let you know, all of these items are going to be linked down below. I have an Amazon store. You can go through all of that. And it’s essentially the same price. There’s no you’re not paying extra for it. It’s just I get a little bit of commission if you were to click on my store and purchase these items from there. It just helps a little bit with what I’m doing. So, make sure you check it out. I’m going to link my Amazon store down below as well. And all of these items are going to be there. And actually, so much more. Not just all of these items. There’s actually more travel items there that you could browse through. And like I said, I don’t you don’t have to pay extra. It’s essentially going to be the same price. It’s just I get a little percentage, a little commission when you use my link down below. So, next is clothing. [Music] Now, for clothes, I know what you’re thinking. You’re probably just sitting there and wondering if you should take a piece of clothing or not. If you are actually even just for the slightest thinking, you should take something a piece of clothing, you shouldn’t. You should just leave it at home. Cuz I used to be the same way. Now, I feel that I’m actually I’ve packed what I actually need and what I would wear on a trip because I’m pretty sure there’s been trips where you’ve packed something and you’re just like, “Oh, why did I pack this? I should have left it at home.” Because that’s happened to me numerous times and I feel that this time around, even though I think it could slightly be better, I feel that this time around, I definitely I have put my clothes into good use that I packed and I actually needed it. And now I’m just going to go through my clothes quickly. As you can see, this is my entire clothes and plus the ones that I’m wearing. But this is very, very efficient because I could pack everything into a carry-on and I don’t need to check in a luggage whatsoever. First things first, let’s start off with the airport outfit because I feel that that’s essential. You can’t just be wearing your swimming trunks or whatever at the airport. I feel that no, that’s just sometimes airports gets too cold and whatnot. Yeah. Even here in Asia, especially here in Asia, as a matter of fact, they like to blast their AC in the majority of the airports here. So, I highly suggest bringing something warm. And for the airport fit, I have a pair of pants here. And this is also great, by the way. So, you do you do need pants if you’re going to come here to Southeast Asia because when you’re going in temples, you do need to cover up your your legs. You can’t just be wearing swimming trunks or skirts or dresses. So, you actually need to wear proper pants just because that’s just how it is here. So, yeah, if you are going to come here in Southeast Asia, I actually highly recommend bringing something that you could wear at the airport as well as you could wear something for where you’re in the temples. And this is actually another thing a lot of vacationers like to just wear shorts the entire time or a tank top, which is fine, right? It’s hot here. It’s like 30 to 40° plus and but then the sun is really really strong that you can actually burn and if you don’t wear any proper clothing or if you’re out in the sun just wearing tank top or shorts then you’re going to burn or it’s just not healthy or good for your skin you know. So covering up sometime from here and there wearing pants and yes in a 30 under a 30° weather should be done is what I’m saying. I I feel like you should be doing that. I mean, there’s a lot of varant uh if you’re a seasoned traveler, you would wear a long sleeve and a pair of pants here and there. You’re not just the type that would wear, you know, a tank top and shorts all the time. Unless you’re a vacationer, you’re here for a week or maybe 4 days, sure, by all means. But if you’re traveling for a long time, I say like 3 to 5 months or maybe especially even a year, you know, you got to cover up. And pants are a good way to make sure your skin is staying healthy under the sun. I know it’s going to be hot, but heck, I’d rather sweat than have a burnt skin. But yeah, enough of that tangent, but airport fit pants and also you need it for temples anyway. So, I have that. And I also have a pair of hoodie here, which I actually only wear at the airport. Although, this time around, I’ve used it quite a bit because I’ve went to parts of Vietnam and Laos way up north and up there is just a little bit colder. So they actually So I was actually able to put in the the hoodie into good use because I was able to wear it there. So a hoodie is always a must and if you’re going to go like I said if you end up going north of the country of whatever Southeast Asian destination you’re in, it’s most likely going to be slightly chillier than where you’ve been traveling to. So that is my airport fit. And then now I have a gym fit as well just because I like to keep my body moving and stay healthy as well while traveling. So I do have a gym gym fit. So I have a pair of shorts right here. It’s very thin and it’s a one of them breathable shorts I guess. And then I have a tank top here. I’ve got a cap. This is also very very important. The sun is strong here. So having a cap to protect my face and my my head is essential. And then I al I’ve also brought three shirts, but bundup shirts. They’re very thin, very breathable as well. And I like to wear this on its own or I like to wear a tank top underneath. And this is very easy to to carry. It’s it’s super lightweight. So I have three of these. There’s one, two, and then, you know, the one that I’m wearing right now. And then for another piece of clothing, I have these dress shirts, these long sleeve dress shirts, and they’re also button up. But the reason why I got the long sleeve dress shirts is because of the sun. Once again, the sun is very, very strong, and my skin is actually very sensitive. So, I need to wear this. You can’t really feel the fabric, but this does this is amazing wearing under the sun cuz it protects my skin, but it also keeps me cool. If that even makes sense. I don’t know. But the fabric is really, really thin. So, I have two of these. I have this one and I also have this one where the fabric is also thin. And as I mentioned, I like to wear those with tank tops. So, I have two that I’ve brought. I have one white one and a black one. And then we’re going to go into the the shorts. Like I said, I have a gym foot, so I have one there. And then I also have swimming trunks here. And then obviously I’m wearing the other one right now. So there’s two. And then a couple of boxers. Two. Again, I don’t know if you’re starting to see the pattern, but yes, it’s in twos. Mostly my my the pieces of clothing are the items. Oh, I forgot one thing. Going back to the the tops, I just forgot this. This is a pocketable raincoat/ UV jacket, UV protection jacket. Okay, I got this from Uniqlo. And as you can see, it’s in a little bag like this, right? It’s super thin. But what I love about this is that it’s waterproof. And you can also wear this and it has UV protection, right? It is insane. I can just keep this hooked onto the outside of my pack if I don’t have any room, but most of the time I just have room, so I just stuff it in my pack. But this is a pocketable jacket, which is so convenient because it is so compact. But struggling to take this out. But yeah, this is what it looks like. It’s got this breathable thin fabric and it’s waterproof. It’s just a multi-purpose jacket. I highly suggest you get one because this is definitely going to come in handy if you’re thinking of traveling here in Southeast Asia. And it’s just it’s such an amazing I think this is definitely Yeah, I would say this is definitely my favorite piece of clothing item that I’ve packed. It’s just it’s such an amazing versatile jacket and I love it. And the other thing I forgot is that another thing I forgot I like to carry bandanas. I know it’s weird, but I like to keep the sweat out of my eyes and it keeps the hair in place as well. So, I have two bandanas that I’ve carried with me and it’s just something that I’ve always done ever since I was ever since I started traveling is just to have or wear bandanas with me. Okay, getting into the footwear. So, I have two pairs of socks. I have one which I like to just use strictly for the airport. It’s a bit thicker and cozier. Obviously, you don’t have to do that. It’s just, you know, my preference. I also have gym socks that I have where I only wear for the gym or if I’m doing any activities. I don’t know. It’s a weird thing that I do that I just like to have activity socks separated from airplane socks. I don’t know. Or just like lounging around cozy socks. I don’t know. It’s a weird thing that I do. But anyways, I like to separate those and I have two socks with me. And then for the footwear, obviously I have shoes. That’s what I wear. And then I also have sandals. So I don’t just wear flip flops or anything because I like to, you know, if I’m going to walk a lot, I like to have some sort of strap and keep the sandal secure on my on my feet when I’m walking. So that’s why I ended up getting these. This is actually my first time getting these kinds of sandals and they’re very very comfortable surprisingly. Actually, very very underrated. Uh, I’m definitely, you know, if if you’re on the fence or if you don’t have any flip-flops or sandals, I highly suggest getting the ones with straps with support right here on the heel as well. It’s definitely just based on personal preference, I think. But yeah, it it does wonders as opposed to just getting your the slides or the flip-flops. It’s just no. If you’re walking around Southeast Asia, you don’t want that. But that is it for my clothes. And up next is toiletries. When you’re packing, just remember if you happen to, let’s say, forgot your lotion or something. Most likely here in Southeast Asia, they will also have lotion in supermarkets or grocery stores and convenience stores. So, you don’t have to worry too too much about it. But obviously, you want to try to bring in as much as you can if you like. But let’s quickly go through this and just because there’s there’s really not much here as you can see. But let’s start off with the lotion. I have this and then I have a deodorant aloe vera gel. This is the after sun. It’s good for when you are, let’s say you spend a day out in the sun and let’s say you get a sunburn or something, then I highly suggest getting aloe vera cuz it’s going to do wonders for you. But it’s even good just for after care. Even if you don’t get a sunburn, you spend quite some time out in the sun. If let’s say you’re exploring temples or spending your day at the beach, like it’s good to just apply this once you get home after you shower or before bed or something. It’s good to apply this. to just keep your skin looking healthy and all that. And then obviously sunscreen. SPF 50 is the only one I use here in Southeast Asia. You may use something lower like SPF 25, but I highly suggest getting SPF 50. And they also sell this everywhere in Southeast Asia. But what I what I found is that in major tourist destinations, obviously all of these items, especially sunscreen, are going to be heavily inflated. So, if you can bring some from home or maybe you can find some at non-ouristy spots here in Southeast Asia, then get it there. But if not, you’re you’re going to pay just be prepared to pay a little bit. Just it’s not much, but it’s just a little bit more than than usual. And then next is toothbrush. Toothp not next is toothpaste and toothbrush. And then I like to have these covers for the toothbrush, but you can normally get these or if you get a toothbrush, usually they would some of them would come with it. But I just like to have this because that way when I’m packing, it’s it’s obviously going into your mouth. So I like to have it covered so when I’m stuffing it, I don’t have to worry about it, you know. But it’s nice to have one of these cases or cover. So, if you were to get a toothbrush, make make sure you get a cover for it or the toothbrush you’re getting comes with a cover. Usually, they come together as a pack or you can buy them separately. It’s up to you. Next is Q-tips. And then mouthwash, shampoo, and soap. And sorry, this just been everywhere cuz I just laid them out. But dental floss, and then disposable shaver. I used to carry I used to carry just shavers, but now I prefer disposable shavers just because you could throw them away when you’re gone or obviously I don’t shave as much, right? But I just like to have them around and if you’re done with it, you can throw it around. You can throw them away and if you need another one, then you can just buy one. So that’s why I prefer disposable shavers. That way you don’t have to carry with you the entire time. Yes, even that tiny little bit of storage room in your toiletry bag is does wonders. But anyways, that’s just my preference. And then I always have a pair of scissors with me. You can take this as a carry-on. It has to be within, I believe, a certain length. And I think this one is just under I don’t know what the length is for a carry-on to be honest. I’m not going to blurt out anything that I don’t know, but I know that it shouldn’t be too too long. And this one is uh good for a carry-on. And the other thing with scissors is that even if you bring a tiny one, right? Because mine was confiscated a while back. The reason why it was confiscated is because it didn’t have a cover like this. So, make sure you have a cover for your scissors as well. If you’re going to take this, if you’re going to take the pair of scissors in your car, otherwise put in put in your check-in luggage, then they won’t say anything. But there’s that. And then there’s this fella right here. It’s a nose trimmer. So that means I don’t have to use scissors and get in there. I can just shove it up my nostril and then it’ll just do I’ll just get rid of nose hairs, you know. Yeah, unfortunately I have a lot of nose hairs. So I got I got to carry this with me. And the good thing about this is that it’s rechargeable. It’s not battery powered or anything. I just recharge it through the USB and then that USBC I believe or type-C, sorry. Yeah, USBC. Never mind. But I just charge it and then it’s good for Yeah. Yeah, the battery life is obviously fairly good on that. But that’s it for toiletries. And yeah, like I said, don’t overthink it just because most likely whatever it is, whatever product you’re you you missed packing or you left out at home, most likely they’ll have it here. Now, if you have a specific product that you want to pack, like if it’s a specialty, I don’t know, conditioner or something, then I highly suggest bringing those with you because here it’s just just like, you know, it’s generic shampoos, is generic lotion, is generic this and that. I mean, although the some of the lotions here have whitening cream or something like that, I’m not sure, but basically brightens your skin. But I actually dug deeper into this and these whitening creams or lotions are actually good for your skin because there’s more there’s more added ingredients that’s beneficial for your skin. It’s just yeah they make your skin white. So if you want to tan obviously you don’t want to put that on. You just want to put normal sunscreen. All right. So next is documents. And there’s really not much to this but the this is a very very important part of this video. So, make sure you don’t skip it. Obviously, you need your passport with you. And you have to have enough pages in here where so that they’re able to stamp you when you enter a certain country. And also, you have to make sure that your passport is valid for at least the next 6 months prior to entry. So, make sure that your passport is updated. And another thing, if you’re going to be going here to Southeast Asia, and yes, a lot of rules and regulations on the on the road here are fairly lenient, fairly lax, but I wouldn’t risk it because there’s actually been a lot of police checkpoints in the past couple of years here. And so, I highly suggest getting your international driving license. This doesn’t cost much. I mean, here, you know, if you get fined here and there, it definitely adds up. And so, getting your international license is so much better. It’s just a peace of mind and it’s just you don’t have to haggle with cops. You don’t have to deal with them. I’ve gotten pulled over here in Thailand specifically multiple times. Even in Bali, you’ll get pulled over, but I’ll talk about that on a separate No, you know, I’m going to talk about Bali, too. But but here in Thailand, they pull you over and if you were to not have your license, you can get fine. Now, how this fine works is that you pay for it and then this fine is valid for the next 2 days or something or 3 days, a few days, right? So that means that if you you paid your fine sure and you got let’s say you got ticketed today and then you ended up riding around again tomorrow and there’s another police checkpoint which is a common thing in touristy areas here in Thailand also depends which island you’re in. But if you get pulled over and you showed your ticket saying that I just got a ticket yesterday, they’ll let it slide or you know you don’t get a ticket today or you don’t get another ticket, but then the third or the fourth day or something when that ticket expires, then let’s say you get pulled over or not pulled over, you say, let’s say you pass through a checkpoint again and then now they’re able to issue another ticket to you and then you just paid your fine and now you’re going to pay another fine again. So it’s like I don’t know how much it is. I know it’s not much, but it adds up. Especially if you’re traveling for a long time, you might as well get this. In Canada, international driving license is about $40 to $50 depending on where you’re from. I’m sure you could cuff up, you know, $40, $50 as well, $40, $50, whatever. But it’s it’s valid for a year as well. So, if you’re doing long-term travel, it’s great. You know, here in Thailand in, you know, they’re fairly they just issue tickets. In Bali, they can scam you as well. There’s actually been a lot of scams even if you have your international driver license. There’s just a lot of police checkpoint scams in Bali. So, I’m going to talk about that in a separate video. But there’s numerous times because I’ve gotten pulled over so many times in Bali, I actually know what to do. So, if you are traveling in Bali, and this is just another side tip, I guess. If you’re in Bali and you do have your international driver, international driving license, your permit, first of all, don’t give it to them. You can show it to them, but don’t give it to them because once you give it to them, then after that they could ask you for money. Yes. Unfortunately, even though it’s a cop, even though it looks legit, which they are legit, they will still scam you. This is a common thing in Bali, especially for tourists. And no matter what you do, always wear your helmet because even if you have your international driver’s license and you don’t have your helmet, then they could ding you for that. So, whatever you do, plus it’s a safety thing, like just wear your helmet. So, wait a minute. I’m getting carried away. So, let’s go back to Bali. So, yeah, don’t give them your international driver’s license. The other thing you could do, this is of course if you haven’t done anything wrong, right? If you haven’t violated any laws, you’re wearing a helmet, you have your international driver’s license, you you could film them. film the person because most of the time in Bali because this is illegal if you film them they would just send you away which happened to me a few times and so that’s the second thing that you should be doing. The third thing is that in Bali, you should always carry a fake wallet. Meaning, you should only put a few dollars or something or a few Indonesian rupees, thousand Indonesian rupees in your wallet. And when they ask for a certain bribery, which they will if they want cuz they want to let you go, so to speak, you can just tell them, you can show them your wallet and be like, “Hey, this is how much I have.” like it’s if it’s not much, let’s say it’s just a dollar or something worth to wherever you’re from, make sure you convert it because Indonesian rupia is a few thousand Indonesian rupia for a dollar or something. I don’t know how much it is exactly, but you can show them your fake wallet and then that way you can give it to them and then they’ll let you go. But again, this these these only applies if you have your international license, you’re wearing a helmet, and you haven’t violated any laws. So ju just make sure you’re aware of that. But any other places here in Thailand, you’re it’s the only country where I felt comfortable giving them my license actually. And I have handed it out to them multiple times because I know how the system here works. And in Bali, I know how the scams work as well, just because I it’s it’s happened to me once. And then I think I’ve gone pulled over five or six times after the first time I got scammed in Bali. And then from there on, I’ve never gone scammed because I already knew what to do. So that’s that. And then any other important visas like if you’re going to go to Vietnam, you need a visa for that depending on the nationality. Obviously, if you’re European and that’s fine, but for Canadian American nationalities, then you’re going to need to apply for a visa. I like to keep it on my phone. I like to store those visa documents, informations, and flight informations on my phone. So all of that, I like to have a screenshot of it on my phone and I save it. I favorite it so I I can just easily access it if the if somebody needs to see it ASAP. So I like to store those information here. If you like to have paper documents, by all means, you’re more than welcome to, but most of the paper documents I like to keep it on my phone. Okay, next up is miscellaneous items. These are just items I like to bring with me. And it’s just a lot of self-c care products. But I’m going to start off with this, which is a chalk, a liquid chalk actually, because I do a lot of heavy lifting. And also here in Asia, if you are to go to the gym, sometimes the gym may not have AC. It’s just running on fans. I don’t know about you, but I sweat a lot. And so the grip is not as great here. And so what this does is that it’s in a liquid form. And once you put some on your palms and you just air it out, it’ll act as a chalk. So that way you have more grip, especially when you’re sweating. So it really does wonders for me. And this can be packed as a carry-on. And I can just hook this outside of my bag, which is really, really nice. So, I like to bring this with me every time I come here in Asia. Obviously, there’s even times when I’ve worked worked out in gyms and it has AC and I just for some reason I just sweat a lot and it just it just comes comes in handy when I need more grip at the gym. So, that’s why I bring that with me. And then the other thing is that if you don’t know by now, Tiger Bomb is a big thing in Southeast Asia and I love this. You could apply this at on sore muscles, on mosquito bites. You could apply, you can even sniff it and it just gives that cool sensation through your nostrils. I don’t know what it is, but I love this product. Definitely one of my favorite products here in Southeast Asia. And it’s also very, very inexpensive. I think it’s like $2 or something to get one. It will last you for months depending on how much or how often you use it obviously. But I like to have Tiger Bomb with me. And then speaking of Tiger Bomb, there’s actually also another product here in Asia that’s well specifically in Thailand. A lot of Thai people like to do the do to inhale this thing. It’s this minty thing that you put up your nose or sometimes you can even have these crazy inhalers. It is this I have two of them. I have the peppermint one, which is uh yeah, just a new one that I got. And then I have this one that I’ve had for a while and I think it’s time for it to But yeah, it’s just these are just inhalers. I like these two because it helps you with I wouldn’t say helps you with breathing, but it helps you to be more aware of when you’re breathing because when you have this, you inhale it, then you’re actually, you know, getting a you’re you’re actually more aware of your breath. I don’t know. It’s a weird thing. If you’re if you find yourself not breathing properly or having short breaths, then have this cuz then it will make you more aware. I don’t know that’s how it works for me. Don’t ask me why, but I like to have inhalers with me. And then I like the pills. I have a lot of pills with me actually for I also take this back home. I have the fish oil which is the omega 369. And I also have magnesium that I take. And with with magnesium I have my zinc pills with me. And then also I have a macaroon. I take a few other pills from back home. I think I take like vitamin D or whatnot, but I just like to work to take those pills and I like to have these pills with me. But I only ended up bringing four this time just because you have the vitamin D and C and whatnot. Those are just really just something I do back home here. I just try to have as many foods as I want. Obviously, you don’t need to bring these. It’s just again miscellaneous items. Personal preference. And then the other thing is that I like to have these glasses because also I have shades by the way, but they broke so I ended up throwing them. If so, if you want to bring shades, I highly suggest bringing shades anyways because yeah, you’re in a sunny country. This is a blue light glass, meaning if you were to look at your computer screen or your phone, it’s it does less damage to your eyes. It actually protects your eyes from it. That’s why it’s called blue light. It’s a blue light emmitting glass is what it is. But the other thing I love about this is that I’m able to wear this when I’m riding the scooter because when you’re on the highway or something or for example, you know, we just did a Myong Sun loop, it prevents your eyes from being watery because of all the wind that you’re getting. And I like to get the 3/4 helmet here. And even if you were to get a helmet here, most of the helmets don’t have the face shield. And even if they do have the face shield, it’s going to be all scratched up. So it actually obstructs your vision. You don’t want that. So, I like to have this with me because it it just protects my eyes from the wind when I’m on the scooter. There’s that. And then I also have my essential oils with me. I love working with essential oils. It’s good for your skin. It’s also good for the mind. Honestly, mind, body, and soul. Let’s just put it that way. But I like to have essential oils with me. Currently, I have tea tree, peppermint, rosemary, and cedarwood. And I also had lavender, but I’m I’m out. But I like to carry those essential oils with me. But if you’re going to carry one, I highly suggest just getting rosemary. If you were to take one, if I was to take one, honestly, I would just take rosemary with me. And then most importantly, I have a lot of crystals at home. I have a massive crystal collection. Uh but this time, obviously, I’m not going to take my whole entire crystal collection. I like to bring, you know, a few with me, which is the main ones are my favorite ones. I have this, which is tiger’s eye. I have rose quartz, jade, and then I have citroen. If you don’t know much about crystals, it’s all good, but it’s basically just an energy thing, and I like to have them with me. We don’t need to get deep that deep into it. But yeah, these are the miscellaneous items. And the last category, last but not the least, it’s my electronics and cameraing. I’m going to start off with the lenses first and foremost. So first is I have a telephoto lens which is a 70300 mm. This is great for any detailed shots and if something is far away or if I want to have some crazy bokeh then I used to I like using this and pair it with my other camera bodies. This is really really I love this lens. It’s also super lightweight. This is by Tamron, by the way. And this lens is f4.5 to f6.3. [Music] And it’s really, really lightweight compared to any other 70 to 300 ms out there. The next lens I want to talk about is this is actually an APS-C lens. This is 11 to 20 mil. So, this is equivalent to 16 mil to 20ome. I’m not quite sure. I use this with a crop sensor camera body, which is the ZV10 that I have. It’s a Sony. This has become my secondary vlogging camera. As you can see, it’s right here. I’ve also got the 45 mil, the prime lens on here, but I’ll talk about that later. But yeah, this is an 11 to 20 mil. Super wide. Really, really great for vlogging or any landscape. If you want to capture something wide, I tend to use this. And then, as I mentioned, yeah, on the on the camera body of the ZV10 right now, I have the 45 mil. It’s by Samyang. It’s super lightweight. It’s kind of been my nifty50, I guess, so to speak. But it’s super lightweight, crispy images, and yeah, it’s a prime lens, so that makes it really, really sharp. But yeah, I have that lens. And my last lens is on actually mounted on this camera. It’s a 20 to 40 mil, but this is a full-frame lens, and it’s mounted currently on my Sony A7R3, and I’m filming with my Sony A7R3 at the moment. Those are my lenses, as well as my two camera bodies. So, I have the Sony A7R3 and the Sony ZV10. For an action camera, I have the GoPro Hero 12. And I’ve got a bunch of filters with the ND filters actually by KN&F Concept. It’s ND64, ND32, 16, and ND ND16, and ND8. They’re Nano X filters. And I have four of those here. And it’s great for also I’ I feel that I’ve used this more mainly on the scooter shots. That’s for my action camera. for aerial coverage. I have the DJI Mini4 Pro. I have this as well. So, my old drone, I used to have the screen. I used to access the screen through my phone through an app and that was just no, I don’t like that. I like how this control now for the Mini Force have the built-in screen. It just makes everything so much easier and just more convenient if you ask me. But that’s what I use for my aerial shots. And as for my vlogging camera, which this has been my main vlogging camera, but I think I’m going to switch back to an interchangeable lens now, but just because this this camera is having some issues to be honest, but nonetheless, this has been my main vlogging camera for the past year. It’s a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and it’s great because it’s very compact. I forgot I also have filters for the DJI Mini4 Pro and it is by KN&F Concept again. I have the ND64, ND32, ND8, and D16. And it comes in this case again. And then I also have extra batteries for all of these. I have at least two or three extra batteries for all of my camera bodies or drones or whatnot. For drones, I actually only have two batteries. And for GoPro, I have four. For the ZV10, I have four. And for the A7R3, I have four. And then for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, it you can’t remove the battery, but there is a battery pack that comes with the creator combo and I have that. So, and usually the battery life on this is really, really amazing and it’s good. But yeah, and these are my GoPro batteries. I’ve got four. Uh I got four as well. And now for the straps, I have a body mount for the GoPro. I like to have this for a firsterson action shot. I like to mount my GoPro on the body on on the chest. It’s great for point of views. And then I also have a camera strap that I like to use as a sling. And then I have my battery chargers. And then for other electronics, I have the Lacy external drive which is a five. No, this is a 4 TBTE. And this is what I used to store my files for this trip. It’s It’s great, by the way. It’s also shockproof and I believe waterproof. I don’t want to test it out obviously, but it’s been I’ve been using Lacy for as long as I can remember. It’s the only external drive I’ll trust with the files that I have. And also, I have the MacBook Pro 13 in. I think it’s uh it’s fairly beefed up. And yeah, I like the 13-in. I don’t know. Uh the 15 would be nice, but I just feel that 13 works for me when I’m traveling, you know, just because it’s the perfect size. I think 15 might be a little bit too big. And then I also have the universal uh universal adapters. So basically pick and select which [Music] kind of charger I want. And then it has two USBs that you could put and charge. And I also have another one actually and I’m using it right now. And that one has a type-C actually. I’m going to show you. So yeah, it’s a travel adapter, universal adapter. And this one has three USBs and a type-C as well. And then this one has two two USBs, but that’s more than enough for the amount of things I need to charge. And then I also have this for my laptop. Basically, I could insert multiple external drives or it has two USB ports and then also type-C ports and then it has the SD card readers here for micro SD as well as normal SD cards. And I’m able to plug and play. I’m able to insert the the SD cards from my cameras and then save it to my external drive or or vice versa or whatnot or view them if I wanted to. So, I have this. And then what else do we have here? I have the blower. And I also have a cleaning kit that I like to have with me. I like to make sure my camera is maintained also while on the go. And what else am I missing? Oh, I also have this tiny little camera. It’s amazing. It has that vintage quality. Love that. And then I also have a now in terms of audio I have the road mic here mounted on the ZV10. And then I also have this which is a road mic which is a road wireless goto which I’m currently using right now. Then I also have a battery pack that I think at last it’s able to provide three charges fully on a normal phone. And so I like to have this with me. And then for editing, I have my Beats wireless headphones. It’s noise cancellation as well, so it’s great when you’re in the plane if you want to cancel out some noise. That’s really great. But yeah, that’s pretty much it for my camera gear. And before I end this video, I actually forgot a few items to mention in the miscellaneous category, and one of them is being my Kindle. This is yeah, I don’t know what version this is, but this is an Amazon Kindle and I just love to read on the go. And also, I like to have a few notepads and a pen is a must for me just because journaling is a big thing. I love journaling. I feel that it really it really does wonders to your life, you know. So, I like to have a few notepads with me. And yeah, that’s what I forgot to mention. But nonetheless, I know it’s a long video, but I hope you enjoyed this video.
