I usually only take morning flights to Japan Not sure if I’ll be tired… probably only get 1–2 hours of sleep Thai Airways Business Class check-in is at Row A I came early today—planning to have dinner at the lounge haha Traveling with my sister this time Really missed the Thai Airways lounge—it’s been so long ^^ Let’s check out the food Stir-fried mixed vegetables with rice Mexican-style roasted chicken Chicken curry Stir-fried vegetables—served hot There’s spaghetti Some kind of stir-fried shrimp Tom Kha Gai (Chicken in coconut soup) Baked goods – spinach pie, chicken pie, etc. Sandwiches Cakes Salads, cheese, cold cuts Drinks, tea, coffee Thai desserts (Look Choup, Khao Tom Mud) You can also order food They have stir-fried basil pork or chicken, shrimp wonton soup Beef stew with gnocchi Can’t decide? Let’s go with basil chicken and a fried egg And hot shrimp wontons soup Along with salad and some fried snacks They also have fresh coconut water Finished off with tea and desserts Khao Tom Mud (banana sticky rice) is really tasty Been to this lounge many times, but never tried their cocktails Time to give it a shot Meaning “Love you to the moon and back??” – I really like it. Tangy, super refreshing Snuck some popcorn from my sister—so good… I need more of it Hot and buttery I just want to lie down in the lounge and watch Netflix—so relaxing hahaha Ordered another drink. My sister doesn’t usually drink, but she wanted to try Let’s go for it—must try this one Getting a little tipsy now. Better save some room for champagne onboard Let’s head to the gate Getting excited again—looks like I won’t be sleeping tonight Hello Thai Airways ^^ Déjà vu of when I boarded from India (back then I could only walk past this cabin) 😅 But this time, I get to sit here—miles ready, heart ready Here we are—my seat for tonight: 20J Let’s check out the seat Amenity kit, headphones, and blanket all ready Thai dessert (Look Choup) and a hot towel Welcome drink: Butterfly pea with lime Seat controls and entertainment remote Thai dessert: Look Choup (Sweet Mung bean paste) Pretty spacious Dining table Slippers Amenity kit by Jim Thompson Blanket Let’s see what’s inside the amenity kit Amenity kit by Jim Thompson Socks, lip balm, hand cream, essential oil Toothpaste, toothbrush, earplugs, shoehorn, and eye mask Very generous—great selection Let’s check out the menu for this flight Breakfast is served 2 hours before landing The first course is served before bedtime Breakfast menu Ready for takeoff Time for a late-night meal before bed Black tiger prawn, wasabi octopus, grilled chicken Something light before bed It tastes good, but the pickles are so salty they’ll wreck your kidneys 😅 White chocolate and yuzu daifuku Really tasty Not very hungry 🙈 Let’s take a bathroom tour Not spacious, but not cramped either Brushing my teeth before bed The crew placed some chocolates for me Saving them for later Time to sleep now Slept for a bit, then cabin lights came on for hot towel service It’s really hot! 😂 Beverage service I got orange juice and black coffee For breakfast, I chose the Japanese menu Assorted Japanese appetizers, roasted sea bass with miso sauce Tuna, shrimp, steamed egg, sweet egg, braised pork, apple Miso soup and pickles Served with Japanese rice Looks really good Let’s eat The grilled fish in First Class is tastier 😅 Still pretty good overall My sister chose the Thai menu—said it was spicy and delicious Thai jasmine rice in “Tom Klong” soup with smoked fish Regretting not getting that one 😭 she said it was super flavorful All full now Watching the sunrise from my seat Feeling peaceful Thank you for this flight Descending now Happy moments always go by too quickly Welcome to Tokyo Haneda Airport We landed 45 minutes ahead of schedule Thanks to the Thai Airways crew for the wonderful service So happy to be back in Japan—this time I’ll get to see the cherry blossoms! Thank you for watching (stay for the cherry blossoms at the end!) Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden Even though it was drizzling, it was still beautiful See you again on the next trip ^^
