Travel Day Vlog: From Atlanta to Cannes, France | Family Adventures on the French Riviera!

Hello everyone. I’m Trina. I’m Otis. And we are We do travel and we are on to our next adventure. So we’re in the Atlanta International Airport headed to London Heathro, then to East France. Yes. And then we’re going to spend a few nights in can. And guess what? Y’all are coming with us. We’re taking you along for the entire journey. We about to have a good time. So we will see you in a little bit. Next stop is London Heath Road. Bye guys. Bye. All [Music] right. So, we got dinner. Hopefully, you can hear me. All right. But we both got Say hi, Eden. Say hi. So, we got dinner. And they had a choice between chicken meatballs or veggie pasta. All right. So, it looks like we got chicken meatballs, some sauce on it. Uh bunt lemon blondie is your civil plastic wear and chickpea salad. All right. So the chickpea salad chickpea salad is not bad. Chicken salad. Not bad. Chicken meatballs. It’s not terrible. It’s not great. I’d rather have chickpea salad. But it’s not bad. It is a road and a lemon blind. Right. All righty. I’mma swallow this and get back with y’all later. Okay. So, the entree we’re having. Well, let’s start with the appetizer. It’s a chickpea salad with cucumbers and tomatoes. I love this. I make this at home. So, we’ll see if it’s like the one that I have at home. That’s good. It’s like with the vinegarette, the light vinegarette. Not bad for airplane food. Cucumbers are nice and vinegary. It’s good. So, the entree is Chicken meatballs with palenta and green beans. It smells really good. Very herbaceious. Has a little spice to it. Let me try the palenta. So, you know palenta is like Italian grits. [Music] Not bad. Then I love a good crispy green bean. It’s like I like my green beans. I like a fresh crispy green bean. Okay, Delta. It’s not too shabby. Not the best thing you ever had, but definitely edible. I’m better than some restaurants I’ve had to be honest with you. Not too shabby. This is like frozen. We’ll try it though. Now, you should don’t eat bread. I’m doing this for y’all so you know if you’ll want to eat this. And there’s a little butter on it. It’s okay. It’s really cold. Not worth the carbs for me. But all in all, it’s not too bad. The dessert is a lemon blondie. Once I finish dinner, I’ll let you know how that is. Lemon blondie. Really good. Morning. So, we’re almost about to land in like another hour and a half or so, but breakfast has arrived. Show you. So, this is an egg and cheese cow. Lot of bread. Yeah. [Music] Too much basil and red yogurt. It is All right. So, we made it to Heathrow. And I must say that Heathrow airport is a welloiled machine. They got us organized. They got the guided us off the plane, got us to transit, and now we’re on our way to our gate. So, we’ll check in again. It’s about 6 something in the morning. What time is it? No, it’s actually 7. Oh. 710. 7:10. 7:10. Yeah. And our flight to Nice is at 8:25. Yeah. So, we thought we were going to have a little time here, but that’s okay. Long as long as we’re here and bronze, we’re good. Yeah. But we’re here. See you at the next Eden’s eye. See you at the next stop. Bye y’all. [Music] Summer [Music] I have absolutely no idea where we’re going. We’re just trying to find a gate. 7:00 in the morning and they don’t put gates like where you going. They don’t have that out here. They just like tell you what time the gate leading then you got to do a mad sprint. Fun fun fun time fun. We made it you all. We are in Nice on our way to Ken and our experience and vacation begins. We’re exhausted. Very much so. Real tired. [Music] [Music] And a cool thing is that they actually put the rates right outside before you walk in. how much it is for parking, your pet, extra charge, and in all forms of monetary denominations. And this change, this pricing changes every day. So, it is a dynamic pricing schedule that they have. But if you haven’t booked previously, you’ll know what that pricing is. [Music] Yeah. One other thing, if you have a lot of luggage, it’s tight in here. Very. So, there’s not enough room for much of anything. So, you can see just four of us. Yeah. Coming up, we had to do two at a time. Yep. Two of us with large bags. Doesn’t fit good on here. And on each floor, they also have like water. So, and it comes with cups right here off to the side. See, no plastic, just water. So, our room was a superior suite. And what it gave us was a queen bed that was separated by a curtain. And the girls had two twin beds under on the other portion of the room. The room also came with a full bath, a shower, and then a separate area for the water closet, which of course is where your toilet is. Keep in mind there were no bath towels. So, if you use washcloths like we do, bring them with you. After a shower, a nap, we are ready to hit the town. We are headed now to the to the steps where they have the um can film festival, which is right like 10 minutes from our hotel. So, our hotel is Novodel Suites Can Center. Very convenient for to everything. Very walkable, restaurants, stores, everything all around. We’ll do a few review of that so you all can see. But come along. We’re going to take you along the ride with us. [Music] [Music] So, we made it. We made it to the steps of where the can music I keep saying music. This camp can film festival is held. They’re actually having an event here on Sunday. So, it’s all um boarded off, so we can’t get on it this time. But this is where it is where you see all the celebrities, all the stars or the who’s who that are coming to the can um um theater every year right here. [Music] [Music] And here we are in the French Rivier in Cans. So we are at the Kot de Azour the beach and people are just laying out relaxing. It’s just so scenic. Nice views right down from where they have the can um theater, the award show. So, we are going to find us something to eat, go back to the hotel, and just relax cuz we have a big day tomorrow. We have a big tour that we’re going to bring you on, too. So Loris has come from France. [Music] You know Trina has a mustsee, must eat list. So we found Bobo’s Beastro. So before the meal, they give us a little sample of their margarita pizza. So everybody take one. It’s good. Simple tomato sauce, too. Fire bowl soup. [Music] Okay. So, I have a capria and this is basically kashaka and some other liquors. And what do they say in France for a toast? Cheers. It is strong. Oo, it’s strong. All right, I got the steak and fruits. The famous French roast chicken and mashed potatoes. We got beef ravioli something and Eden got So, the roast chicken. Absolutely delicious, as you can tell. Um, we ate some of Ava’s um ravioli. It’s a wine sauce, which she didn’t really like that much, but delicious homemade ravioli, mushrooms, the the potatoes, palms are delicious. All right. And my stick was pretty good. It was less than medium, but I still ate it. And it was still good. This uh teragon sauce wasn’t really a big fan of, but all in all, it was it was good meal. It looks like Eden liked her octopus. And instead of the ravioli that got, she got some. And she says that’s really good. Is that really good? Okay. How’d you feel about your um octopus? All right. Awesome. She ate it all. She ate it all. Pear pieu lemon and mering pie exotic fruit pavlova vanilla panakota apple pie chocolate mous caramel and rice pudding. I also have chocolate and pie. You want one of those? You can any of those? Yeah, I’m too full. Everything was del. Yeah, Bubbles Beastro was say magnific. Then they had street performers that came out just on the spot performing.
