The RCM is a major conservatoire in South Kensington, London. It was founded in 1882 by royal charter.
It offers training from undergraduate through to doctoral level in western classical music. covering performance, composition, conducting, music
It has a Junior Department for younger students (ages 8‑18) on Saturdays.
The campus is in a cultural hub (“Albertopolis”), opposite the Royal Albert Hall, and close to museums and other institutions.
