Day Trip to Moret-sur-Loing
on a super cute day trip just outside of Paris. So, first, let’s take a second to appreciate that view. But I took the subway to uh Garden Leon. And then from there, I took a train ride, which was about 45 minutes to this other train station. From there, I had to walk about 20 minutes just cuz the buses weren’t working today cuz I think that they had some big delay. But totally keep an eye on that anytime you’re in France. But then from there, I got to this super quaint medieval village and it was just so gorgeous. I spend the whole day just looking at this river and all the nature and just reading outside and calling my loved ones and being like, “Oh my god, isn’t this so gorgeous?” And they were like, “Yes, this is so gorgeous.” Um, but yeah, getting to know the French countryside and different aspects of France more intimately has been one of my highlights of studying abroad. So, I would totally recommend putting yourself outside your comfort zone and seeing different things like this beautiful church like to anybody that was studying abroad. So, I totally recommend
Leaving from Paris Gare de Lyon, just a 45 minute train ride brings you to the town of Moret-sur-Loing, known for its medieval history and picturesque landscapes. Known for being an inspiration to impressionist painters such as Monet and Renoir, Sofia takes you along a day trip to the French countryside!
