10 Best Things to do in Kyoto, Japan #travel

Kyoto is a very special place let’s see if I can break down a few of the best things to do while you’re here first things first wake up as early as possible rent a bike and head out of the city towards arashiyama for our first stop of the day the bamboo forest you don’t have much time here before people start showing up take a few deep breaths and then jump back on the bike and then go straight to the Fushimi inat Shrine if you’re not there by 7:00 a.m. do it another day follow the thousands of bright orange Tory gates up Mount enady these things just don’t stop once 9:00 a.m. hits you got to get out of there go get a bowl of something delicious and after lunch harness your inner ninja at a class that teaches important life skills like the art of late night creeping and how to properly grow a ninja star and then begin to understand the way of the warrior through Samurai training by the time the training is over the tourist Temple tours should have died down a bit start by heading into Kyoto’s Central Park to the Imperial Palace then there’s King Kaku G or the golden Pavilion from the heon shrine make your way over to the gon neighborhood in hopes of spotting one of the beautiful and mysterious gishes on their way to work and then start thinking about dinner find a restaurant that serves up the Japanese Hot Pot style cooking Shabu Shabu oh man finish the day at a Japanese karaoke spot in my personal opinion these are the best things to do in Kyoto

  1. I spent 3short days there. I saw everything you saw plus a Geisha Graduation at the Golden Temple. I stayed in a temple somewhere in the hills. Amazing place. It was what I imagined Japan was ❤

  2. Not sure why you'd have people start in the far north west of the city, to then head to the far south east – all in the space of a couple of hours 😂
