Hey, Scott Lara, the cruise genius.com, president of militaryfairs.com in cob blends. Military, your one-stop shop for travel. If you’re a member of the military, if you’re a veteran like I am, go to militaryfairs.com, book your trip. Collins. So, I’m coming over here to get on this cable car to go up to the top of a mountain. Don’t ask me all the details. I have no clue. I’m kind of on my own. And that’s kind of what’s cool about these river cruises. You can go on a river and you can go on a river. You can go on the guided tour, just kind of go off on your own. But so let’s check this out. Right. Going to go over here. I already got my ticket ahead of time. I don’t know if it was cheaper getting my ticket ahead of time or not, but I got my ticket ahead of time. So stick with me. See, here we go. I heard that car number 17 has a glass bottom. It’s around 10:00 a.m. in the morning. Yeah. October 17th, 2025. promotional consideration to gig sky eim. That’s what I’m broadcasting on. Well, I’m not doing an eim right now. I’m just videoing. secret. I was really happy. Okay, now Okay. So, here’s 13. I heard that 17 has the glass bottom, but we’ll see. Let’s see about 17. I’ll just stand back. Can I ask you a question? Yeah. I heard that 17 has a glass bottom. There’s a window in the window. 17. See, when you do when you watch the video ahead of time, you know what the deal is, right? See, that’s why you watch the videos ahead of time, right? Look, people just walk right on there. This is in cob blends at the stroller. Very interesting technology, if you will. Get down 15. Hold on. So, it’s kind of a dreary overcast day today and feels like Chicago. You know how Chicago is just dreary and overcast and you feel a little bit cold. And I have several sweaters on so I’m just kind of and I did not bring my heavy Jaguar jacket. So, I’m going to wait for 17 for that glass. Look at the person’s using the uh Windex there to clean the glass on the bottom of that. I’m waiting for number 17. Look how slow it moves. But this is cob blinds going up to the top of something to see the top of something to see the two rivers merge. I don’t remember all the details, but I’m waiting for 17 because it’s got the glass bottom. And I wouldn’t have known that unless I watched YouTube videos talking about it. Here comes 17 right here. Scott Lair, the cruise genius. Hey, while I’m here, promotional consideration of Gig Sky. Gigsky.com. It’s an eim. You have an eim already in your phone. You just got to buy a data plan and then you can have data when you go on a cruise, when you go on a river cruise. Geeks sky.com. And if you book through militaryfairs.com, uh you’re a member of the military or a veteran, you book your travel through militarys, [Music] then you can u go on to gig sky or actually through military affairs, then you can How are you today? I heard that 17 has the glass. Yes. Have fun. I will, my friend. So, here’s the glass right here that you can see down. Right. Have fun. Isn’t that sweet? All right. So, here’s 17. Yeah. All right. So, let me sit this other way. Huh? And the ticket. Oh, I see. It’s kind like this. So, here’s the glass, right? So, anyway, you go over the river. Now, there’s I think there’s two rivers. You got the Ryan and you have another river that these two kind of converge. And this is the only car that has this glass where you can see see down. See, look right there. So, anyway, I know my grandsons would love this. So, how are you? Hello. Good morning. Where are you from? Well, what do you guess? What do you think? I’m not certain. You’re not certain? What do you think? I don’t know. I’m I’m from Jacksonville, Florida. You’re from Florida? I’m from Florida. Okay. Well, I’m from neighbors here at Holland. Holland. Holland. Oh, I love Holland. Oh my gosh. Yeah. You’ve been there? I haven’t been there, but but I I I’ve sailed on Holland America cruises many times. Ah. So now what are these two rivers? Two rivers. The mul the mo the mul or the rhyme. Right. Mul and Ryan. And they combine. This is the R, right? That’s the R, right? Yes. And now we go to the So here we go. Thank you. You’re very kind. So anyway, the two rivers combine and you take this car, this cable car, up we go. And it’s kind of fun. But again, what’s also kind of interesting is this glass here on 17. This is the only one that has it. Oh my gosh, it feels weird. It feels weird, but it’s it’s it’s interesting, you know? I mean, so we’re high above the river and you can see and it’s very it’s slow. That’s good. It’s it’s not going fast. It’s not scary. I have a personal guide. Well, uh, I’m a travel reporter and so I, uh, am on a I’m on the MS George Elliot Riviera travel cruise and getting a review, doing a review. And of course, I thought this would be kind of a cool thing to do. I’ve seen a fish. Wow. So, again, this is the glass and you can actually look down. It’s a big camper place. Oh my. So again, this is it’s moving very slowly, so it’s not scary by any stretch. I know my grandsons would love this, but again, these cable cars are very cool. So that’s how this works. And we’re just being elevated all the way. Boy, you don’t want this thing to stop in the middle, do you? And be stuck on this thing. That’d be scary, wouldn’t it? That would be really scary if he got stuck. Oh, here’s a little handrailing. So, anyway, here we go up to the top. So, I’m holding on to a railing right now. So, this is really a neat thing. Boy, it beats walking up those stairs. I mean, that’s probably where you walk up right there, which would be quite a hike if you’d walk up there. And here’s uh like some rail for the train right there. And of course, the river right here, which we’ll see on the way back. But again, if you come to uh if you come here, you’ve got to do this. You’ve got to take this tram ride up here. It is It’s not going fast. It’s slow. It’s safe. I think my wife would be very, very scared. She’d be holding my hand. But uh anyway, here we go. Just looking down below there. And there’s the river over here. And it’s going to be kind of neat to see from way up here to look down. But look, look down there. See the cars go by? See the beautiful cars? Yes. Yes. The trees. Yes. It’s fall weather, huh? Uhhuh. Yes. I’m from Florida, so we don’t have the changing flowers or trees. I grew up in Chicago where we do have the change of the trees of the colors, but not Well, I I visited the US America two time three times, but I’d like to go to Chicago. Well, it’s a very interesting city. The food is very good. The deep dish pizza is good. The Italian beef is very good. And so, but I don’t go for the food there. I don’t I’m not interesting in food. You can eat everywhere. So, I’m not interesting. But what are you interested in? The architecture. The buildings. Architecture. Yeah. The buildings. Yeah. Yeah. And I was sometime I was in Florida too. New York. Wow. Okay. So, I saw more of your country than you my country. So, again, very high up here. All right. So, I’m going to take us out here. Scott Lair, the cruise genius.com, president of militaryfairs.com. And we’re going to do another video in a minute.
