A Dog Friendly Day Trip to Diocletian’s Palace in Split Croatia

Welcome back to travels of Maymion was a Roman emperor who ruled Rome from 284 to 305. On May 1st of 305, he retired here in Split, Croatia to live out his days. The palace of today’s video was constructed starting in 295, just a few miles from his birthplace in Salona. If you want more detailed information about the palace, I advise you to start with a Wikipedia entry. Although another very good resource is wonderinundry.com which has a section on Dioclesion’s palace. We basically took an afternoon to wander around and see all the cool stuff. The entry to the palace is free and you can take your dog. What a bonus. The palace can be entered from any of the four directions. We entered from the south the bronze gate which is somewhat difficult to find. You can see an arrow on the map to guide you. You want go for a walk? [음악] เ [음악]
