Paphos Sea Front And Harbour On Saturday Night
Hi, this is Dominic from Puffos Life and tonight we’re having a quick film from the top end of Puffos Seaffort on Saturday night down to the harbor. I wasn’t going to film down here tonight, but I’m waiting for the uh exhibition opening night at uh Fabrica Hill to uh get less busy basically. So, while I’m doing that, I thought I might as well come down here and fly my drone. And now I’m walking back to the car. I thought I’d do a quick film as well. Pop in and see Henry as well. But it’s uh Saturday, October the 18th, and it seems like I spent all day today filming, I think. And uh they’ll all go out at various times over the next week or so. There’s a Osen and Beller Italia and Lyanna Das. It’s 23° centigrade. just coming up to 7 p.m. as the lady said uh that the exhibition was open till around 8ish each night. So I should be able to get there by about half 7, giving me plenty of time to wander around with my torch looking at the various things. It’s a nice crowd of people there to see it open though, which is good to see. And I recognize one of the artists at least from someone who’ done uh murals in Oldtown in the past, but that’s for another film. So, mid-occtober. It’s probably going to get busier towards the end of October because half term people have been asking about firework displays. Uh not really a big thing on November the 5th in Cypus cuz they don’t really care about Guy, but uh they used to have one at the uh military base, the UK base uh near Limol in Episcopy, but I don’t think they got one this year. But I did see a name pop up on our pathos chat forum for one I think it was the Atlantida beach bar on the Oscapoo beach. Apparently they have a firework display. I’ll need to verify that though. There’s a wooden pub over there. Ever popular. All the Cheesy Puff fans. Most people will be thinking about coming out for something to eat soon. Still a bit early for the pools in the crowd. We got the nasty orange lights here, which I don’t like, so I’ll use that for my marketing. If you like our films, please do subscribe to our YouTube channel and share them far and wide. I can assure you it helps us immensely. And uh if you want to help us out financially, go to our buy me a coffee page at buy me a coffee.com/pathos life and chuck us a few coffees that all gratefully received. However many you can send us, I can assure you they tend to go towards new camera equipment anyway. So win-win, as they say. Finally, if you want to get uh a momento of PAOS featuring pictures that we taken and go to our Zazzle store at zazzle.co.uk/store/pathos live/collections and there you can get all sorts of memorabilia, but specifically the pathos live 2026 calendar or oneoff cuz there are numerous uh designs. There’s my Biana over there. So, check that out. Finally, follow us on uh Facebook, our Pathos Life Facebook page for notifications on whenever we publish anything on Facebook, uh YouTube or our main website, pathoslife.com. And if you want to say hello, go to Pathos Chat and Cypress Chat Facebook groups. And that’s the marketing over and done with for another film. We can get back to the goodness even though we’re still in the orange light territory. This is nice and pleasant walking uh in the evening in this time of the year. No humidity. Feels a lot nicer. And the picture on the camera doesn’t have like mistiness and fog on it either. It’s good to see there aren’t any uh culture cultural event at the harbor at the moment. No offers, no ballets, just slightly dodgy lighting on the castle. But where would we be without that? Now, this cat over here, when I walked up the seafront, I thought it might be dead because it was lying over here. And uh I had to pod it with my uh camera pole to make sure it was still alive, but it woke up and looked at me as if to say, “What are you doing?” But now it’s actually moved, so that’s a good sign. There’s the moings. Look at that. Ever since we started coming here on holiday, we’ve been getting ice creams there and dangling our feet over the seafront over there and feeding the crabs. Watching them fight over blobs of ice cream. Not many blobs, has to be said. I’d rather eat the ice cream than feed the crabs, but you have to share a little bit with them. There’s a sponge seller and grain of rice man. And you got Solomon over there and harbor restaurant. Wake Up Terror Night Music by DJ AK, whoever they are. God knows what that’s all about, but something’s happening somewhere. Jenny Hair Brands and Wraps. Hair braids and wraps rather. Sorry, Jenny. So, I’ve done a lot of filming today. My arm’s getting sore. And I’ll go left the seawward side of it this time. I think all the boats that are going out tonight have gone out. I could be wrong. There’s a bus down here. Hopefully his music’s not going to be a problem with the YouTube algorithm. I think he’s playing his own stuff though, rather than having excessive backing track, so I should be okay. Nice reflections from King restaurant. There he is. All his own work. So, fair play to him. Someone’s having a caricature done or for a moment he’s having his haircut. There is four flowers. the archaeological park on the right which is obviously closed for the night. Space to breathe again now. Some more nice reflections in. Yep. So after I’ve done this, I’ll take a couple of pictures and then go back up to the uh Fabrica Hill. See what it’s like wandering through the catacombs at night. A bit spooky. Do a Halloween special there. Now the tree over here got some nice lights in front of us or behind it rather. I’ll see if you can see them better if I get a bit closer. if it’s part of Theo’s or King, but looks very pretty. Anyway, now we’re entering the main restaurant area. That’s the second Jack Russell I’ve seen tonight. and uh made me a bit wary because earlier on when I was walking up to the other end of uh seafront I saw someone taking a rabbit for a walk and rabbit and Jack Russells do not go together very well. I can see a hatless Henley. There’s Pelican restaurant. Low Coco. If he’s in there having a kip or something. Don’t see him. Come around to say the castle. Who’s play? My team won. We’re actually second in the league. Lincoln. Can you believe that? I know that’s probably the kiss of death and we’ll get relegated now that I thought I had to say that we beat the people who are on top as well today. Now this man’s actually got a car. Can you believe it? I actually saw him in driving his car earlier. It’s a shame I wasn’t filming. Then we could have all locked his lumber plate on some service or whatever. How’s it going my friend? Well, if you come here, if you were here about let’s say 1 hour 30 minutes ago, it was fully full with people, but it was for breast cancer awareness. Oh, okay. There was today was a worthy cause. What? A worthy cause. I show you from here. Oh, they took it up. They took it up. They a breast uh running club. Oh, yes. For for the breast awareness uh whatever. I don’t know. Oh, today was the event and was full of people. Oh, okay. I think over 500 people. Cool. Yeah, I missed that then. Anyway, I’ve got to go. I’ll see you later. See you. Take care. Breast cancer awareness. There you go. I missed their event. I hope it went well. From what he was saying, he had 500 people or so. So, yes, it did. Anyway, I’m going to walk up to the castle and call it a night. I’ll go and see Fabrica Hill. See what’s going on there. I haven’t done the nighttime film here for a while. Be interesting to see how it looks uh in less humid climate. compared to what it was like a month ago. There’s Nautica. Few people there. So, let’s go this way. Have a look at the castle and the concourse in front of it, which looks lovely. Nicely illuminated. It’s a vintage gel area. Down here early on, people have plunkked bicycles in front of uh modern Aphrodite. Now they got push chairs. Cornwin. But here’s the nice illuminations. Always worth seeing. Okay, hope you enjoyed that little walk and I’ll see you in the next film. Cheers.
October is a great time to visit Paphos. It is a bit cooler but there is still plenty of sun, and the water is a perfect temperature for swimming. The evenings too, are arriving sooner, but they are no longer humid. So walking along Paphos Sea Front and Harbour on a Saturday night is an absolute joy.

It looks like the restaurant are still busy 😋😋and the weather is still very good
Thanks for the great walk along by the harbour, nice to see it in the evening. Hope the weather stays nice for us early November, for our holiday.
I have seen someone taking a cat for a walk on a lead before, but never a rabbit. It is a shame that you didn't get it on camera.
As you are using a gimbal with your X5, do you still have image stabilisation switched on?
Lovely Paphos at night wish I was still there love Cyprus so much.
I was so lucky to have lived io Limassol for eight years 😊😊x
