We’re just walking and shopping. And we don’t know where we’re at. Should we go in there? That’s a c Oh, no. That’s a coffee shop, not a tea shop. No, I’m good. I already had my daily coffee. 140 of tea. Oh, you want to go in there? Let’s see if we know where we’re at when we come out here. I think we will. That’s for really short people. Let’s see. Place we went into that smelled so good. Remember when it was really crowded? Everybody, all the vendors were out. This is where we were. That’s the market, like the grocery store. And now it’s empty pretty much. This is where we’re going to go have dinner. That’s cute. Oh, it has upstairs, too. That’s cute. Sure. It’s so cute. I can’t tell which one I smell right now, but it smells so good. I know. It must be an event or something tonight cuz it’s really popping off tonight.

Our Vannes to-do list is officially shrinking! Today was a perfect blend of productivity and pleasure. We spent the afternoon wandering through the beautiful Jardin des Remparts (Ramparts Garden), where we got this incredible view of the medieval fortifications and the majestic buildings they protect. The photo and video show just how stunning the tiered gardens are against the historic stone walls!

For lunch, we indulged in true Breton style with galettes de blé noir, and I went for the savory Artichoke Galette (a Complète Artichaut)—it was absolutely amazing and the perfect local fuel for our explorations. Vannes really is a city of art, history, and incredible food. Time to enjoy the rest of our time in beautiful Brittany!
