Castles, Crosses, and Cathedrals Tour II (May 2026)

We are finally able to announce plans for a new castles, crosses, and cathedrals tour in May of 2026. Join Pat Carter as your tour guide through parts of Germany, France, and the Low Countries. As the title indicates, we will see castles like Marberg, where Luther and Zwingley debated Protestantism. Clervo Castle, sight of a last stand by American GIS in the Battle of the Bulge and picturesque castles like Bronfells in Germany and Borshide in Luxembourg. We will visit American military cemeteries like Netherlands, Luxembourg and Henry Chappelle, the final resting places of more than 25,000 Americans who gave that last full measure of devotion. We will also visit Aen Cathedral where Germany crowned her kings, Cologne Cathedral, the largest in Western Europe, and Elizabeth Kirch, the first Protestant cathedral. We will visit a former P camp that housed everyone from a future president of France to a 27year-old carpenter from Wiggins, Mississippi. forward. We will visit the hospital where Germans first learned how to exterminate undesirabs on a massive scale. We will visit the picturesque Herkin Forest, site of the US’s worst defeat in World War II. In the Ardens Forest, we will visit numerous locations where the Battle of the Bulge took place, including the siege at Baston and massacre at Melmd P. The highlight of the trip will be the dedication ceremony of the Hosinganin Water Tower Museum where two companies of Americans in fierce defense of the town held up and harassed a German panzer corps for 3 days. After all of that, we may extend the trip to Paris to see the ark to triumph, the louv rasail, and of course the Eiffel Tower. P.
