Malta Gezi Rehberi 🇲🇹 | 4 Gün TÜM ÜLKE: Malta, Gozo, Comino | Plajlar, Tarih, Fiyatlar (Malta VLOG)
We’ve explored the entire country. History, food, culture, sea, and sun. Good morning. Hello. How are you? Also, take a picture of me with a knight. We put on our life jackets. We wanted to enjoy this view for a bit. But let me show you our account right away. Look. But I can’t make it happen just like this. To Malta, an island nation in the middle of the Mediterranean… Happiness… Happiness. Welcome to Malta, an island nation in the middle of the Mediterranean , friends. We’ll be in Malta for 4 days. We’ll taste its finest flavors. We’ll visit its most beautiful places. History, food, culture, sea, and sun will be in this vlog. But before that, if you’re not subscribed to my YouTube channel , please don’t forget to subscribe and turn on the “bell” notification to be notified of new videos immediately . And now, if you’re ready, let our Malta trip begin! Malta is a small but charming island nation located right in the middle of the Mediterranean. Despite its small area, it’s incredibly rich in history and culture. The official languages of the country are Maltese and English. That’s why you won’t have any trouble communicating . The currency is the Euro. Traffic flows on the left, like in England, and British-style sockets require a 3-pin plug adapter. Malta consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo, and Comino. The main island where we stayed is both full of historical buildings and truly impressive with its turquoise sea . The capital, Valletta, is especially impressive with its narrow streets, stone houses, and baroque architecture. The flight from Istanbul to Malta takes about 2.5 hours. Reaching the city center from the airport is also quite easy. We used the Bolt app for transportation. It’s very popular in Malta, but it’s worth noting that it doesn’t work in Turkey. We ‘re staying at a hotel called Locali Rooms in the Gżira district. It’s very close to both Sliema and Valletta. You can even walk to many places. The price was quite reasonable, too. We’re now in front of the Grandmaster’s Palace. This was once the most important administrative center of the Knights. In the 1500s, St. Built by the Knights of St. John , it served as Malta’s administrative heart for many years. Located in the heart of Valletta, it’s truly captivating, both inside and out. Inside, you’ll find high ceilings, ornate wall frescoes, and details reflecting the opulence of the era. The most striking section is the section displaying the armor and weapon collections. And take a photo with me, knight. Today, this building houses the Office of the President of Malta, but it can also be visited as a museum. In short, history, architecture, and knightly tales all come together. It’s a must-see in Valletta. While walking through Valletta, we saw a food market. We decided to go inside and see what they had. Inside, there’s everything from local cuisine to international cuisine. There’s Mexican cuisine. You can also try street food here when you arrive. There’s also a large market downstairs. We immediately decided to try some local delicacies. You know, we can’t start our trip without trying the local delicacies. So, we stopped at a place called Nude Arts & Bakery. The taxi driver who brought us said the same thing. He said, “Absolutely, go here.” He said the flavors here are excellent. You can try traditional flavors here. We have sausages. We have sun-dried tomatoes. We have olives. They’re stuffed with tuna. We have eggplant here. Sweet peppers. We have beans. They make curry and so on. We have shallots here. We have sheep’s cheese. They also have bean puree. They have a beer called Cisk. We ordered this one. One called Excel, and one called lager. We tried these two. They were the famous beers here. They have bread like this. Sourdough. It looks incredibly good.
the traditional Luzzu boats, which are painted with an eye. This eye You wouldn’t believe what we just said. There’s rabbit meat and horse meat. They serve it with vegetables on the side. Exactly. I think it’s horse meat. Anyway, let’s try horse meat once, knowing it . It’s not bad at all. Yes, we ate and drank. Did we enjoy our food? No, but the bread was very good. So, I guess Maltese food isn’t for us, friends, but we paid our bill right away. Let me show you. Look. 45:20. Now we’re moving on. We’ve arrived at Fort St. Elmo, one of the city’s most iconic structures. It’s a magnificent castle overlooking the sea at the very edge of Valletta. Built by the Knights of St. John in the 1500s, it played a crucial role in Malta’s defense. It held out for weeks during the Great Ottoman Siege of 1565. That’s why it’s a symbolic place in Maltese history. Now, it houses a war museum. But you can still feel the traces of that era as you walk around . It’s one of Valletta’s most impressive places, both in terms of history and scenery . I always say that city cards are important. Malta has one, too. It gives you access to 24 sites across the country. This means you can enter almost all the museums, etc., and you only pay 50 euros per person. FYI, if you’re only going to see one or two places, it might seem expensive, but if you’re looking to see all the museums and other tourist attractions, I think 50 euros per person is a very reasonable price. And by the way, you can use that card for a month, but it only gives you one entry. I’ve been saying this place is very similar to Mardin ever since I arrived. The song “Be Mardin, the suffering star of Nemrut” is constantly playing in my head… We arrived at Lower Barrakka Gardens, one of the most beautiful gardens in the city . It’s one of Valletta’s most beautiful spots, overlooking the Grand Harbour. The view is truly epic. It has a small but very peaceful garden, with palm trees, flowers, and the scent of the sea. In the middle is a monument that stands like an old temple, dedicated to Sir Alexander Ball . It’s the perfect place to escape the city’s hustle and bustle and take a breather. If you’re looking for a beautiful sunset in Valletta, don’t miss this place . What kind of tree is that? It’s a hanging tree. We’re on one of Valletta’s most beautiful streets now: Santa Lucia Street. It reminds me a bit of that spot in Plaka, Greece. There are so many beautiful places along the staircase, left and right. You can eat and drink and have a great time. It’s quite quiet here right now, by the way, because it hasn’t even opened yet. It starts after dusk. The aromas of delicious food envelop you, and it creates a fun atmosphere. History truly oozes from everywhere. And they’ve preserved it so well, so beautifully cared for! I can easily list this place among the most enjoyable places to visit. Now we’ve arrived at another of Valletta’s most beautiful gardens , the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Located in the heart of Valletta, at the highest point of the city . Originally a 16th-century resting place for knights, it’s now a breathtaking viewpoint for both locals and tourists. From here, you’ll have magnificent views of the Grand Harbor, the Three Cities, and the historic city walls overlooking the sea . There’s a cannon fire show every day at 12:00 and 16:00 . It’s especially enjoyable to watch. We’re on one of Valletta’s most famous streets: Republic Street. You’ll find plenty of souvenir shops, restaurants, and cafes here and there. Some of the most famous brands are also here. The Hard Rock Cafe is here, as is McDonald’s. It’s quite busy. As you can see, it’s a very busy street. We’ve arrived at St. John’s Cathedral, folks. From the outside, it looks quite plain. Almost like a castle. But the beauty begins the moment you step inside. Inside, you’ve entered a baroque world covered in gold leaf . The ceiling frescoes, by Mattia Preti, are full of scenes from the life of St. John. Everywhere is so meticulously crafted that you’re genuinely confused about what to look for. Even the stones you walk on are not ordinary. They’re actually the tombs of 375 knights. So, you’re not walking in an ordinary place. And now, let’s get to the real treasure here: Caravaggio’s ” The Beheading of St. John.” This world-famous work is a painting you can only see here. What’s more, it holds the distinction of being the only painting signed by Caravaggio . If you’re going to use public transportation on the island, buses depart from right next to the Triton Fountain, and prices range from around 2 to 2.5 euros, if I remember correctly. Keep that in mind if you’re coming. Now we’re in Sliema. This is one of the liveliest areas on the island. A walk by the sea, sitting in a cafe and watching the sea, or strolling along the beach in the evening… It’s quite enjoyable, and it’s lively and relaxed all day long. We’ve arrived in Paceville, the liveliest part of the island. You can find any kind of bar you could want here. It’s actually 8:30 am right now. It’s still a bit lively, but it gets much more lively later in the day. The music carries all the way outside. It’s impossible to walk around here. Let me tell you. If you’re coming to Malta and want to have some fun, this is the place to go . We woke up early and went to Popeye Village. Popeye Village is actually the film set where the movie Popeye was filmed. After the film ends, they leave the place the same way and then it opens to the public. You can tour the inside like an open-air museum . It costs 25 euros per person. You can even swim in the sea here if you like. When you enter, they put something like this on your wrist . Then you can enjoy exploring the interior and take beautiful photos. Where are you from? Turkey. What are you from? Turkey. Turkey. That’s it. Next to the… next to the sailor. And then we’ll get… yes, you’re first. Blood. When you enter, they give you a piece of paper that lists all the activities. There are activities at different time slots, both on the beach and inside the film set . It starts with a welcome at 9:30 in the morning. So, there’s the Puppet Show at 12:10. Then there’s the Puppet Show again at 16:30 . And there’s the Goodbye Show at 6:00. You come, they put on a few shows like this . They take photos with you. You can also tour the inside of the houses here, just like we did right now. They’re open, too. J Yes, brother, there is, but I can’t make this happen like this. Come on, come on, come on. Good morning. Hello. How are you? I’m good. Thank you. By the way, there’s a cinema inside, and popcorn is included in your ticket price. The cinema is free, of course. While you’re wandering around… there’s also a small gift shop inside. You can also buy local souvenirs unique to the area . Now we’ve arrived in Birgu (Vittoriosa). This is one of Malta’s oldest cities. In fact, it’s no ordinary town. When the Knights of St. John arrived on the island in 1530, they chose this place as their capital. That’s why, as you wander the narrow streets, you see traces of the knights in every corner. We visit Fort St. Angelo. This was the Knights’ most important defensive point at the time. During the Ottoman siege of 1565, the castle served as the heart of Malta. Despite days of attacks, it did not fall. When you climb up to the castle today, Valletta lies before you, and the Grand Harbour lies below you. This view, surrounded by the sea, is truly impressive. If you come to Malta , this is a must-see spot, especially for the sunset view. There are traditional taxi boats from Birgu, from the castle, to Valletta. We took them. Normally, it’s 2 euros, but today it’s 5 euros, if you can stomach it! Now we continue towards Valletta. These taxis are locally called Dghajsa . These small wooden boats have been carrying passengers in this port for centuries. They’re still operating today, and it’s a short ride from Birgu to Valletta . The stop in Valletta is just below the Upper Barrakka elevator . There’s an elevator between the beach and the Upper Barrakka. You pay 1 euro, and you can go up and down. And by the way, it’s quite high, huh? You really understand why so many movies are shot in Malta when you travel around the country . Every place is so beautifully designed, so beautiful, it feels like you’re on a huge film set. You’re in. Cafe Cordina is one of the oldest patisseries here. It’s still standing since 1837. Pastizzi! It’s one of the delicacies you absolutely must try when you’re here. Let’s take a look. I mean, it’s not much, but it’s delicious. It’s a puff pastry. Since Malta was under British rule for a long time, you can see telephone booths and postboxes like this. British style. We arrived in Gozo with the dawn operation this morning, friends. Apparently, there’s a 45-minute fast ferry departing from Valletta for 7.5 euros. We boarded it, and now we’re in Gozo. If you’re ready to explore Gozo, let’s begin. Now, we boarded our boat tour from Mġarr Port in Gozo. We arrived at our first stop, the Blue Lagoon on Comino Island. By the way, you need to buy a ticket to enter the island . It’s free. You fill out this ticket online, scan it right here, and you can enter the island. I’ll just say one thing: the beauty of this sea… so? Oh, look there. It’s like the Maldives! These places used to be mulberry fields. There was nothing. But now, tons of restaurants have opened, and of course, there are plenty of cruises from Gozo. And so we arrived at the Blue Lagoon, one of the island’s most famous spots. This lagoon, lying between the islets Comino and Cominotto, is famous for its pristine turquoise waters. It looks truly beautiful. We have a 1.5-hour break here. Swimming, snorkeling , or simply watching the light show on the sea is incredibly enjoyable. But a quick tip: It gets very crowded later in the day . The best thing is to come early in the morning. We decided to go for a swim. We saw a place like this. We asked, and he told us it was 35 euros for two . Considering we only had 1.5 hours here, 35 euros was too much for us. So we dumped our bags on the rocks nearby. We decided to enjoy the place for a bit, but 35 euros was too much for us. We got used to 2-3 euros in Greece. This place costs 35 euros, so … By the way, you can also swim at this spot next to the harbor. This tour lasts about four hours and operates twice a day: morning and afternoon . The program includes iconic landmarks like Comino Tower and the surrounding natural caves. As you sail past these areas by boat, the turquoise and blue hues reflected off the rocks create a truly captivating sight. Now we’ve arrived at Crystal Lagoon, right next to the Blue Lagoon. It’s a quieter bay surrounded by cliffs and caves. The water’s clarity is truly incredible. It’s a snorkeling paradise. It’s not as crowded as the Blue Lagoon, so it’s ideal for a quiet swim. Of course, I say “quiet,” but I’m saying it’s quieter than the Blue Lagoon. So, again, don’t expect too much ; don’t expect a place to relax. The place you see behind me is St. Mary’s Tower (Santa Marija Tower), also known as the Comino Tower. This tower was built in 1618. So, it has a history spanning over 400 years. Knights used to use it to watch for pirate attacks. Today, it’s become the symbol of Comino. If the flag is flying, you can enter and visit. It’s not flying right now , so we can’t visit. Anyway, our boat hasn’t docked. If you’re looking for a shorter but more fulfilling activity on your Malta trip, this tour is definitely worth considering. After completing our boat tour, we made a deal with one of the taxi drivers who showed us around Gozo, which we saw at the harbor that morning. This way, we could extend the day a little and begin exploring Gozo’s highlights. We arrived at Ramla Bay, one of the most famous beaches on the island of Gozo. Its Maltese name is Ramla l-Ħamra, meaning “Red Sand Beach.” It’s Gozo’s widest beach, with shallow, clear waters. It won the Blue Flag in 2025. The statue of the Virgin Mary in the center has become a symbol of hope for sailors. On the hill, Calypso Cave, the subject of mythological legends, is… On the other side, Mixta Cave frames Ramla like a postcard. With both its natural beauty and history, this isn’t just a beach; it’s a place where It’s also Gozo’s symbol. Now we’ve entered Mixta Cave. The view here is truly magnificent, my friends. Now we’ve arrived at the world-famous Ġgantija Temple, nestled in the heart of Gozo. It dates back to approximately 3600 BC , predating even Stonehenge in England and even the pyramids. These temples, built with giant stone blocks, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Their name comes from the Maltese word “ġgant,” meaning “giant.” How these stones were transported by humans remains a mystery. Its courtyards, altar areas, and artifacts such as shells and bones indicate that this place was both a religious and social center. Ġgantija is considered one of the most impressive heritage sites not only in Malta but throughout the Mediterranean. We’ve arrived at Marsalforn, Gozo’s most popular coastal town. This is a popular summer resort for both locals and tourists. A small but lively bay lies before us. Restaurants, cafes, and bars line the area. Watching the sunset from here is a delight. Marsalforn, offering a blend of sea, entertainment, and delicious food, is one of the heartbeats of Gozo . We’re in the Salt Pans on Gozo’s northern coast. Here, natural sea salt has been produced for centuries by evaporating seawater in small pools carved into the rocks. This method has remained unchanged since Roman times. In the summer, the water gradually drains under the sun, leaving behind pure sea salt. Today, some families continue to harvest salt using traditional methods. The scenery is truly stunning. This is definitely one of the island’s most special spots for photography and drone shots. As I mentioned, some families still harvest salt using traditional methods . They also sell it. That’s right up there. Let’s take a look inside and see what salt prices are . We’ve arrived at Ta’ Pinu Basilica, one of Gozo’s iconic landmarks. This magnificent church stands at the heart of the island. Its story dates back to 1883. It’s said that the Virgin Mary spoke to a peasant woman in a small chapel here. After this incident, the site became a pilgrimage center. The large basilica was built in the 1930s , and today it’s considered one of the holiest sites in Malta . Inside , you’ll see votive plaques depicting numerous healings and miracles on the walls. The view is incredible, too. Standing in front of the church , you can admire both the sea and the lush green valleys of Gozo . We arrived at the Inland Sea. Here, you can take a boat tour for 5 euros per person. Among these, you can see the Blue Grotto (formerly the Blue Grotto) and the Azure Window . Of course, the Azure Window has since been demolished, so you can only see the ruined part. It looks nothing like it, by the way. It was much more beautiful before. You can also see Fungus Rock in the distance. I thought it was a lovely tour. It took about 20 minutes. It costs 5 euros per person. Game of Thrones fans know that this is where the Dothraki wedding took place. It’s called the (Azure) Window, but of course, it’s been demolished, so nothing remains. Right behind me is Fungus Rock, and if you look that way, there’s an observation tower. Those observation towers used to warn of pirates’ arrival. There are five of them here. If they saw a pirate coming, they would immediately light a fire. Since those other towers also saw this tower, they would also light a fire, signaling the pirate’s arrival with the smoke. Now, we’re in the heart of Gozo. Where are we? We’ve come to the Citadel. This is a fortress that has been the island’s protection point for centuries. The first traces of settlement date back to the Roman period. But most of today’s walls were built in the 16th century to protect against Ottoman and pirate attacks. When you climb up the walls, you get a panoramic view of all of Gozo. Inside, there are cathedrals, small museums, and narrow streets. Once upon a time, the people of Gozo would flee here for refuge during pirate attacks. Today, the Citadel is both It’s also one of the island’s most impressive spots, both with its history and scenery . Victoria, Gozo’s capital, my friends. This is the island’s capital. Just from here, when you descend from the Citadel, you ‘ll see Republic Square. Now, we’ve arrived at Mġarr Port. From there, we’ll go to Cirkewwa. We have a friend here soon, and we’ll stop by. But if you’d like, you can also go directly to Valletta from here. By the way, the Cirkewwa ferry takes 25 minutes. You buy your ticket right there at the desk. Then, scan it, go inside, board, and drive wherever you want. We paid 4.65 per person. If, like us, you’re afraid of driving in left-hand traffic and want to get everything done as quickly as possible, we saw this place right across from Zara in Sliema. It says “Taxi.” It’s right behind this car. And to the right, there’s a park like this. I think this is AnnMarie Park? It was something like that. I don’t remember exactly. We came here. We said, “We want to visit places like this. You know, if we were to arrange a day tour , how much it would cost ?” The man said, “For 320 euros, I can take you around for eight hours. We can go wherever you want, no problem.” So, we arranged a tour right from there. We’ll cover almost the entire country on this tour. Let me tell you, I’ll see you when we’re traveling. We arrived at San Anton Gardens, one of Malta’s most important gardens. This was originally the garden of a summer palace built for Grand Master Antoine de Paule during the Knights’ era in the 1600s . Today, it’s located around San Anton Palace, the residence of the President of Malta. The gardens have been open to the public since 1882. Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by centuries-old palm trees, pine trees, and vibrant flowers. This place is intertwined with both history and nature. It’s one of the must-see stops in Malta . Friends, we’ve arrived at the Mosta Dome (Mosta Rotunda), which we’ve been passing by for days, behind, to the right, and to the left, but never quite got close enough to see. It’s actually a basilica known as the “Rotunda of Mosta,” and it boasts one of the largest domes in the world. The dome’s diameter is approximately 37 meters. Rising on thick stone columns, it was built entirely by volunteers in the 19th century. The sheer size of the dome is truly breathtaking when you enter. Another story that makes Mosta Dome so special is that in 1942, during World War II, a German bomb fell directly on the dome during a service, but it didn’t explode. Hundreds of people were miraculously saved here. Today, a replica of that bomb is on display inside. This is one of Malta’s most impressive structures, not only for its architecture but also for the miraculous story it carries . It’s considered one of the most beautiful spots for those who want to experience the spirit of the island . It’s a must-see when you come to Malta. We came to Ta’ Qali Craft Village. In fact, it served as an air base in World War II . Today, it has taken on a completely different identity. Inside the old hangars and buildings, Malta’s most talented artisans now work. Here, you can visit glassblowing workshops and observe how masters shape glass. You can also find filigree silverwork, ceramics, wood carvings, and handmade gifts. It’s also an ideal stop to experience and experience Maltese culture . Now we’ve arrived in Rabat. What’s one of your must-see places when you’re in Rabat? St. Paul’s Grotto, and then the Catacombs. Ah. Now we’ve arrived at St. Paul’s Catacombs in Rabat. This is a complex of underground burial grounds dating back to the early Christian era. Its first use dates back to around the 3rd century AD and makes it one of the largest underground cemeteries in Malta. As you descend through narrow corridors, you’ll see rock-cut burial chambers, niches, and stone benches . These benches were used as memorials after funerals. It was used for meals. So, this place wasn’t just a burial site; it was also a place where social and religious rituals took place. It’s one of the most important evidence of Malta’s early Christian heritage and a unique stop where you can directly engage with history. It’s one of the few places where I’m tall enough. There are so many catacombs. And there’s a side opposite. You end there. From there , you go to the other side, where we are. There are about six such catacombs here. You can visit them all. The most important thing you should do in Rabat is get lost among these beautiful streets and explore the city. While in Rabat, you wouldn’t want to stop by Is-Serkin and try some pastizz. So we went right away, bought our pastizz, and now we’re tasting them. And this boyoz! It’s boyoz! We came to Domus Romana. In other words, a Roman house. Discovered by chance in 1881, this villa belonged to a wealthy family who lived in Malta during the Roman period. One of the most striking things here are the mosaics. The floor mosaics date back to the 1st century and are still incredibly well-preserved. In fact, these mosaics are considered some of the finest Roman mosaics in the entire Mediterranean. Now that we’ve finished Rabat, it’s time for Mdina. This place is known as the “Silent City.” With its narrow streets, stone houses, and historic fabric, it truly feels like you’ve traveled back in time. Mdina’s history dates back 4,000 years. Numerous civilizations, from the Phoenicians and Arabs to the Normans and the Knights of St. John, have lived here. It was the island’s capital throughout the Middle Ages , until the capital was moved to Valletta. Today, this walled city has only about 300 residents, which is why it feels so quiet and peaceful. Incidentally, Mdina’s streets have also hosted the Game of Thrones series. Mdina Gate, known as the main gate, was featured in Game of Thrones as King’s Landing Gate, and they used these streets extensively in the first season. We stopped at Fontanella, one of Mdina’s famous restaurants. What’s this place famous for? As you can see, it’s famous for its giant chocolate cakes. Since we were there, we decided we’d try it too. What’s missing? We also ordered their famous beer: Cisk Excel. I really liked this beer, but they usually sell local beers like this. They don’t have many international beers. As you wander the narrow streets, you’ll be greeted by baroque palaces, churches, and the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral right in the middle of the city. Looking over the city walls, you can see almost all of Malta. Of course, it would be nice if there weren’t so many cars passing by. We’ve arrived at Dingli Cliffs, the highest point on the island’s west coast. Here, we’re about 250 meters above sea level, and the seemingly endless Mediterranean stretches before us. The view is truly breathtaking as you feel the wind on your face at the edge of the cliffs. Especially at sunset, this place is bathed in golden light, making it one of Malta’s most romantic spots. Once upon a time, this place served as a natural defense line. The height of the cliffs acted as a natural wall protecting the island. In short, Dingli Cliffs is one of the must-see spots for a truly natural setting, to take photos, and experience Malta’s true magic . You’re already enjoying the view. It’s quite high and a bit intimidating, but it’s impressive. Now we’ve arrived at Malta’s southwestern coast. Here lie two of the oldest structures in human history: Hagar Qim and the Mnajdra temples, located just below . These temples date back to approximately 3600 to 3200 BC , making them older than Stonehenge and even some of the pyramids. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered the most important legacy of prehistoric Maltese civilization. Some of the massive blocks here weigh over 20 tons. How they were transported and placed with such precision is still unknown. We’re exploring Göbekli Tepe (Göbekli Tepe) in Malta. A little further down the coast, you’ll reach the Mnajdra temples. This area is particularly famous for its astronomical alignments. Sunlight During the spring and autumn equinoxes, you enter the temple through the main gate and enter the very center. This shows that this place was used not only as a center of worship but also as a calendar and observation center. In short, Hagar Qim and Mnajdra are two of the most important structures not only in Malta, but in all of human history . On the way to the Blue Grotto, we saw a beautiful viewpoint and decided to stop and enjoy the view for a while. We arrived at the Blue Grotto. We’ll be taking a boat tour here. We bought tickets for 10 euros per person to go inside the Blue Grotto, and now we’re exploring the surroundings and interior of the Blue Grotto by boat for about 20 minutes. We’ve literally toured the entire country in this video. So, it’s not just Valletta or Eskişehir like other YouTubers do. We’ve toured the entire country . Let’s go. Hello. OK. We’re going with the guy in the back. We’ve put on our life jackets. We’re inside the Blue Grotto right now, friends. Look. Natural color… we went in, we came out, we continued. Along the way, we visited and saw not only the Blue Grotto, but also a few other caves around it. It’s incredible. The water is crystal white. It’s covered with pure white sand. We’re in Għar Dalam, one of Malta’s oldest archaeological sites . Its name means “Dark Cave” in Maltese. It’s approximately 144 meters long, but only the first 50 meters are open to visitors. When you enter, you can see different layers among the rocks. These layers have left traces of thousands of years ago. In the lowest layers, bones of animals that no longer live in Malta have been found: dwarf elephants, hippos, deer, and many other species. In the higher layers, traces of the oldest human settlement in Malta have been discovered. In other words, this place is incredibly valuable in terms of both natural and human history. In my opinion, Għar Dalam is a must-see for everyone who visits Malta . Where are we now? We’ve arrived in Marsaxlokk, one of Malta’s most famous coastal towns. It’s also famous for its colorful fishing boats. Especially is believed to protect against evil. Looking out at the harbor, the blue, red, and yellow boats look almost like a painting. The village’s shore is lined with fish restaurants. Grilled fish and seafood, in particular, are a must-try. Marsaxlokk is also one of the best places to experience and see local life in Malta . It actually looks much better in photos, but I don’t understand why it looks like this now . The sea isn’t that beautiful either. After seeing so much beautiful water, we weren’t really impressed. You can also take a boat trip here. I’ll tell you exactly what you’re seeing. You see the Lighthouse. You see St. Peter’s Pool. There’s a place called “Small Cave.” You see that. You see Kalanka . You visit 7-8 places like this for 5 euros per person . We’ve arranged a great tour. You just tell us where you want to go. We can visit anywhere we want for 40 euros an hour. I’ll include his phone number and all the details in the description . You can reach us from there. We’re now at the tip of Senglea (Isla). This is the famous Gardjola Gardens. I hope I’m right. So, you already know the name. This is a small but very special garden. Directly across from it lies Valletta’s skyline, Fort St. Angelo, and the Grand Harbor. The garden’s most striking feature is “il-Gardjola” (the watchtower). It features figures of eyes, ears, and birds. These were once symbols for protecting the harbor and keeping an eye on the enemy. Yes, while walking along the beach in Senglea, a restaurant called Novita caught our eye. We really liked it. We decided to sit down. Then we checked the rating, and it was quite good. We immediately ordered our food. I ordered linguine. After that, we’ll have octopus. Now, we’ll enjoy our delicious meal with this beautiful view. By the way, We ordered wine. It was a wine unique to this place. We really liked it. Did we like our food? It wasn’t bad. The view was nice, but we paid 61 euros in total. There’s a place called Senglea (Cospicua). Ferries like this leave from there to Valletta, and you can pay with a credit card inside for 2.5 euros per person . However, there are also city cards you can buy and use with your card on public transportation. For our last dinner in Malta, we went to a restaurant called Tast. We really liked it when we saw it. We decided to have our last dinner there. The food wasn’t bad. You might want to try it if you come. I liked the pasta. Well, it cost 51 euros for two. We had a Coke and a margarita. We had a hamburger and pasta. If you’ve watched this far, please don’t forget to like the video, turn on the notifications (bell) and follow me on Instagram to be notified of new videos immediately .
