[Music] Hey. [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] Good morning from Santorini. It is a very busy port day and uh I don’t have any plans. I have only one thing on my agenda today that I am for sure doing and that is going to get the Greek salad that I had in Santorini 2 years ago uh because it still lives rentree in my mind. It was that good and I am definitely going to make a point to go get it again today. But uh I’m going to let the crowds die down a bit this morning. It’s a beautiful day. Obviously, you know, sunshine is plentiful in the Greek islands. We are also here until 10:00 p.m. tonight. And tonight is the white party, which is a pool deck party where everyone dresses in white and it’s a big event and I’m really excited about that to see how it they do it on Azamara compared to the other cruise lines that I’ve been on. I think I’m actually going to go to the gym this morning, get some walking in. So I will keep you updated as the morning proceeds. Well, I am getting ready to head out. It is a little after 11:15 right now. I think I’ve already hit the gym. We’ve got a little bite to eat and coffee this morning. So, let’s head out. [Music] What you drinking? What’s your life? What you drinking? What you drinking? You Could [Music] it be? Could I have gotten so lucky to come at a time where there’s no line for the cable car? I can’t believe it. There’s the entrance right up there. This line right here is all for tenders, return tenders to another ship. But I see no line. The last time I was in Santorini, I waited in a line that stretched way, way, way, way, way back there. But not today. Here we go. Quick and easy. [Music] [Music] I’m shocked. My own car. [Music] Bumpy. Wow. [Music] I can’t believe I got my own cable car. [Music] [Music] It is steep up here. A little bit bumpy, shaky. I honestly chose the perfect time to come off the ship. Five ships in port today and I didn’t have to wait for one second in line. [Music] We’ll see how long the line is on the coming down portion cuz it’s probably worse. All right, we are here. We are in Santorini. So many waterfront view restaurants just like this and tiny little streets and walkways with great views. Wow. Gives you a sense of just how far up we had to come on the cable car. And of course, there is an option to walk up. You can see the steps right there. I don’t recommend it in this heat, but it is an option. It’s a very winding set of stairs. So, there’s our five ships in port today. Looks like this is actually where the steps come out. So, if you do take the steps route, you would come up this way right here. What the heck? Looks like one of the [Music] [Music] Fancy McDonald’s back there. Happy Yeah. Heat. crowds. I can see my destination right up there. It’s called Divine Restaurant. [Music] [Music] Don’t give up. [Music] Yeah. It’s really not so crowded up here right now. Really the popular time to come to this part of Santorini with the view is at sunset which is not for probably another 3 or 4 hours. You definitely have your choice of restaurants with a view right here along the edge. Such a beautiful place. Also, the cable card was €10 coming up. So, it is a €5 increase from the last time I was here. And that was only for one way. So, you have to separately purchase your return ticket to go down at the ticket counter. Feel like I’ve seen what there is to see this time in Santorini. I’m going to head back to the ship. Tell me the one. made it back down to the bottom. Oo, that line was long, but we’re out. Hopefully there’s a tender boat waiting for me. All right. Now, let’s go to the Azamara Tempest. Well, our ship has moved. We moved into a different position here in Santorney because I think at least one or two ships have left now. It is white night tonight. I have my white dress on and I am ready for dinner. The pool deck has been transformed. I’ve not been up there yet, so I’m about to take you up and show you what it looks like. So, I’m about to head out now. Let’s go up to the pool deck and see what’s going on. And there goes Silver Sea sailing away. We’ve moved much closer. I believe we are the last ship to depart Santorini tonight. So, we will get to see the sunset here. And wow, it’s going to be a beautiful one. It is so sunny. It’s so bright out here. Gorgeous though. [Music] [Music] Thank you guys so much. [Music] to unity. It’s WHITE NIGHT on the Azamara Pursuit and we’re in Santorini until 10pm! There’s nothing like a huge pool deck party at sunset with that glorious volcanic island as the backdrop! We were one of 5 ships in port today but somehow I got so lucky when I left the ship to take the cable car up to Fira in Santorini – there was NO line! I decided to walk around a bit, take in the incredible views, and then get a delicious meal at a restaurant overlooking the water. In the evening it was time for the White Night party on the pool deck! We danced the night away to LIVE music performed by the incredibly talented entertainment crew with a jaw-dropping buffet spread. What an amazing way to end a perfect day!
