Paphos Sea Front And Harbour On An October Saturday Morning

Hi, this is Dominic from Paffos Life and I’m up the uh top end of the seafront. Today my Banyan restaurant and the lovely flower pots and I’m going to be walking along the seafront in the harbor. Most of you will know the route by now. It’s Saturday, October the 18th. So, this will come out next week sometime. And in a minute I’ll be able to tell you the exact temperature. Just making sure I didn’t leave anything behind. Lots of people out now having breakfast. Quite envious of them. Here’s the I love pathos sign we’re just coming up to. I’ll get that in. followed by T for two on the other side of the road. Okay, so it’ll be the reverse side of the aisle of pathos sign. You get the idea. Pink Renos is that best. I had a fly land on my nose. There’s car restaurant. If you see any films of Pathos Seafront and you’re unsure how uh old they are, cuz some people tend to recycle old footage, places like that are worth checking out cuz it’s a new uh restaurant and it won’t appear in older films. I’m sure lots of you will know what I’m talking about. restaurant frozen scoops on our right. Oh, it’s not the 360 camera, so just pan around. I’ll take it nice and slowly. They have frozen scoops, Tommy Hilfiger. That was one of the few places that didn’t have to take their sign down when they had the illegal sign purge a couple of years ago. cuz they had always played by the rules. Good for them, right? Here we go. 10:28 now. So, I’ve been walking around for good couple of hours and flying the drone. 24.2° centigrade. So, mid20s. When I started it was low 20s. the usual restaurant. There’s fish boy, so far unmolested, so I might be able to have a little fly past of him. There used to be a little police state uh station here, but that’s moved down to where the kiosk is. The purposebuilt little office there. Fair amount of swimmers there. Oh, these people are going up to see fish, boys. I just look. Oh, I can smell some delicious food there. I won’t be distracted. P gently round the wooden pub. Half 10. It might be open now. Got to be said though, if you headed to a pub at half 10, you’ve got you must really like your cheesy puffs. Let’s put it that ephodight secret. Perhaps they do breakfast cheesy puffs. I don’t know. But there’s the wooden pub anyway, but not actually open yet. Gyros are now 1390 at Bakus. I swear they used to be 17os in the peak season. I had very nice gyros. Uh on the road up to Oldtown and between Kings Avenue Mall and Oldtown, there’ll be a driving film of Central and Kato Pathos where I highlight them. They’re very nice. And it was only 680 takeaway. Mind you, they didn’t have the same location. And you didn’t get to Well, you could have sat down, but it’s not the same as everything. I had to eat mine in a dusty car park, but it was very nice. the Pinia C view apartment. And let’s face it, you can’t get more of a C view than that. Let’s have a quick look. I’ll be very quick because there’s a little kitty playing there and don’t want to be that weird old man who spends his life filming little children. There’s Mariano. [Music] We got the captain’s uh view. You also have Elean optitionians before them. I’ll show you them in a minute. They very kindly host our webcam which looks out over the harbor and it’s a good way of checking what the weather’s like at the seafront. There’s Elliot Elliot and themselves. We probably see a rest in there somewhere. I think he’s there. Oh, he thought he was busy. [Music] No. No. make my way over and try and get a bit of a coastal view. I see the wind’s picked up slightly and the sea isn’t quite as calm as it was when I first arrived here at about half 8. So, I’m glad I filmed the drone uh flew the drone first cuz I got some lovely calm sea shots. There’s the Moorings Cafe Restaurant. probably this view walk there aren’t really any handy places that I can do my marketing I’ll have to jump ahead you’ve got uh harbor restaurant up here and pizza plaza and various stalls but uh before then if you like our films please do subscribe to our YouTube channel and share them far and wide. And there’s uh halfos archaeological park. I’m fairly certain the Lombard is going to be an issue. So I’m not going to bother saying much for the next bit. Oh, quickly though, you can see people emptying the bins here, which is good. That happens multiple times a day. They really do look after the place. Mind you, I’m not the world’s expert on the Lambardo, so that will come as a shock to some of you. [Music] There’s Spongebob up ahead. [Music] [Music] Cala [Music] used to be rinsing his loofah. What you can say about that? There’s King’s restaurant. Oh, there’s a cat. Do you know that’s the first cat I’ve seen on my walks today. Seriously, I normally see a lot more than that. I got to try to remember these people’s names now. Why couldn’t they all be called Henry? That’s Fo’s restaurant and Pelican Coco. And I couldn’t um Oh, you might be able to get some nice reflection shots here. beautiful. Yes, please. I’ll pan back. Now, I’m guessing that it’s the art exhibition up in the arts and market area rather than Uh, the artisan market. God, this is professional nation, isn’t it? I did drive past Eve’s shop in Oldtown on the way down here, but I couldn’t see her. So perhaps they’ve actually extended it. Have a quick look. No, it’s the art and crafts exhibition. So Eevee’s one of her mountain villages yet. To be honest, I can’t really tell the difference between art and craft exhibitions and art markets, but it’s a different group of people you find at each of them. So, we’ll finish at the fort stroke castle. Delete as you see fit. These selfish buggers are part of the bicycles right in front of the uh statue. That’s ruining everybody else’s photographs. Never mind. Eh, and we just pan around. Now, this place is best seen at night because it’s illuminated really nicely. But that was Pathos Seafront and Harbor and I’ll see you in the next film. You could be forgiven for thinking that Summer was still here in this film. We take a glorious walk along the Sea Front, taking in Fish Boy, The Wooden Pub and all the usual scenes. The harbour itself looks magnificent, with an incredibly calm sea. Cap it off with a chat with Henry. What more could you want?
