Hello everyone!
As the temperature starts getting lower in Germany, it made me wish for a little warmer weather, although not as toasty as it was when I visited Regensburg in July! It’s in the low 50’s now, and I wish I could split the difference from the almost 90 it was then to a comfortable 70 something.
But anyway~
Bavaria is a beautiful region and state in south east Germany. I’ve always loved Bavaria; the beauty of nature as you drive to different cities or towns, the Rococo stylized churches, the fairy tale and scene paintings on the side of the buildings; what’s not to love?
I was fortunate to have three days off from work and spend two nights in Regensburg with my mother. It was a bit of a drive and the drive back took half the day due to traffic and wrong turns, but the misadventures are just as memorable as the the planned adventures (even if they’re memorable for different reasons :p )!
I’m thankful to still be able to see a little bit of the world while following Germany’s COVID precautions and rules, as well as the opportunity to spend some time with my mom.
I pray that things start improving on a global level, and that you and yours are safe and healthy.
