I saw PADDINGTON the MUSICAL in London! FULL Experience | Theatre Vlog 2025

Come with me to the Seavoy Theater to watch the second ever preview performance of Paddington the musical. Hi everyone, how’s life and welcome back to another one of my videos. So yes, I am currently on the Strand in London not too far from the Seavoy Theater where recently Paddington the musical started playing previews and this evening will only be its second ever preview performance the 3rd of November 2025 and I’ve got to say already I am loving the marquee there. Paddington the musical at the Seavoy Theater. I love the bright colors. Very nice logo they’ve chosen for this show. But yes, like I said, this is only the very second preview. So, the show hasn’t officially opened yet. I believe the premiere of it is at the beginning of December, so in a few weeks time. But nonetheless, I am so so excited. This show has music written by Tom Fletcher, well known from McFly, and I’m a huge McFly fan. I love Tom’s music. I know that the score for the show is going to be incredible. And one cool thing they’ve done for this new musical here at the Seavoy Theater is that they’ve got their own separate merchandise shop right outside the theater. And it looks beautiful. Look at all the notes. Apparently, these are the actual musical notes that Tom Fletcher wrote for the score of this musical. I love the design they’ve used for it. Oh my god, look at this. This is gorgeous. And they are selling a bunch of things. They have these cups which says Paddington the musical on it. They have these beautiful Paddington bears. Please look after this bear. Thank you. Oh, so cute. You can buy yourself a hoodie with the design of the musical. They have these little Paddington keychains. They have a cap, which I might potentially buy. A kitchen towel, I want to say, with the recipe for marmalade on it, which is such a clever piece of merch. Of course, they’re also selling some Paddington books over here. We have also got a Paddington the musical pen. This is ยฃ3.99. We’ve got these mugs. Very nice. We’ve got these standing teddy bears. Again, looks like we have another t-shirt over here. This one’s black rather than the bright blue color. Quite like this Paddington the Musical water bottle. And this is $24.99. They have a Paddington the Musical bucket hat up there, which I’m very keen on buying. Look at it. It’s got the pool and everything. Very nice. And a little design of Paddington the Musical on the side. Yes, this is probably coming home with me. They’ve got some more apparel here, including this cool design of Big Ben and Paddington. $34.99. Some more plushes of different sizes. Yes, you can actually see most of the t-shirts and hoodies up there. They’ve displayed them quite nicely. Luggage tags, which make total sense for Paddington. So cute. They’ve also got another cap over here. Same design as the blue one, just a different color. They’ve also got these posters, which are very nice. Paddington tote bags again, both in blue and in black. You’ve got the sign here. All change at Paddington the Musical. Oh, that’s so fun. All change, you know, Paddington station. And yeah, looks like most of these items we have already seen. What I haven’t noticed just yet is a pin, a padding for the musical pin or a magnet. But again, don’t forget this is only the second preview, so I’m sure more merchandise will be coming along the way. But I’m going to go and pay for this now and head inside the theater. There we have it. Bucket hat purchased. And look how adorable these free paper bags are. So, you can get them when you purchase anything for free, which is lovely. And yeah, I would recommend coming to the shop actually before you head to the theater because it’s spacious enough that hopefully it will give you a better merchandise shopping experience than inside the theater. Also, a couple of things if you’re interested as I’m leaving the shop. Firstly, the bucket hat is rather large in size, so if you have a big head, you should still be able to fit in it very comfortably. Also, the lovely staff who working there said that they should be getting pins and magnets tomorrow, so the 4th of November. If you’re visiting anytime from the 4th of November onward, more than likely they should have some more merchandise options available there. And the shop is open until 11:00 p.m. at least tonight, but I’m guessing that’s going to be the norm. And the show starts at 7:00, so you should hopefully have enough time to purchase your merchandise after the show as well. Without further ado, though, let’s slowly but surely make our way inside the Seavoid Theater. There we have it now in previews. Also loving all the paws on the floor. This is adorable. It’s all about the details. Another cool detail is over here, London Paddington. And I am being taken down to one of the lounges here because I’ve booked a dessert package. Thank you very much. To leave any coats or jackets on the railing. You are absolutely free to do so. And here we are inside the lounge. I believe we have access to this lounge both right now before the show and also during the interval. We’ve also got a private washroom which is nice. This is my table. Table number three. And on the table there’s this lovely looking postcard of Paddington the musical at the Civil Theater. And let’s have a look on the back. Oh, it’s a nice little note. As part of the package, you do also get given a program. And we’re of course going to have a look at the program a little bit later on, but again, first impressions. I’m loving the design of it. It’s also one of the bigger programs. Reminds me a little bit of Wicked, both in terms of the size and also even the design a little bit. And because this is a dessert package, we have a selection of desserts coming very soon. But we also get an option of a cocktail or a mocktail. And these are the three options that they have. The top two are cocktails. The last one is a mocktail, a non-alcoholic one. And that’s the one I decided to go for today. Also, a selection of teas. And you can see all the options that they have available. And just like that, my Spirit of London mocktail has arrived. Looks really good. It’s meant to be mainly passion fruit. So, we’ll see what it tastes like. Very sweet, but very nice. And a Japanese ice cream with mocha ice cream. Oh, nice. Okay. And as I say, if you don’t finish it, uh, we can save it for the end. Perfect. Thank you. So, there we have it. This is the dessert selection. I believe this is a red velvet cake. We have a strawberry mochi on the top and then of course Paddington Bear’s favorite sandwich, a marmalade sandwich inside that package. It’s currently 6:40, so 20 minutes until the show starts. The lovely staff member did say that if you don’t manage to finish everything, they’ll save them for you for the interval, which is lovely. And in the interval is when you get your teas. I’m not a big tea lover personally, unless it’s green tea, so I decided to skip that. Instead, I’m having just some water in the interval. Let’s try a little bit of this red velvet cake for now, though. That red velvet cake is pretty good. But as you can see, we are getting closer and closer to 7:00 p.m. So, I think I’m going to leave the rest of my food and drinks for the interval. Well, I thought I could just leave, but the lovely staff said that in about 5 minutes time, he is going to take everybody in the lounge all together to our seats because we’re apparently all seated together as well. So, whilst I have a bit more time here, I thought I would show you a little bit of what the program looks like. Welcome a Paddington. We have a Paddington’s guide to good manners, which is cute. If we are kind and polite, the world will be right. I love that. I mean, honestly, I love a lot of things that Paddington Bear stands for. So, yeah, it’s nice that they’ve included that on the very first page. You’ve got all the creative team over here. A couple of pages about the history of Paddington, which is a huge part of British culture. There’s also this article called The Rhythm of London. Some information about the costume design. some photos of the cast in rehearsals. There you go. That’s Bonnie Langford over there. Cannot wait to see her. This show actually has a very strong cast, strong creative team, and a strong cast. And obviously, everybody loves Paddington. So, it’s got everything right for the formula. So, I’ve got really high hopes here. We’ve got Luke Shepard, the wonderful director of the show, as well as, of course, Tom McFly, who wrote the music and the lyrics. And it looks like the time has come to be taken to our seats. I mean, stalls will be so very close to stage. And here we are officially inside the auditorium. That is what the stage looks like. Very cool. Love how they even used some of the side stages for the production. And there we have it. Row B. I am row B number six. So, let’s head into our seats. Here we are. Pretty good view. Row B actually isn’t the second row, by the way. It’s the third row cuz they’ve also got one at the very front of the stage. And the stage is pretty high. So, I would say being anywhere a little bit further back is actually much better than being closer to the stage. But yeah, this is the auditorium at the Seavoy Theater and the show should be starting in the next three or four minutes. So, I’m going to lovely and leave you until the interval. Well, we are at the interval and firstly, look at the gorgeous curtain they have going on for the interval. It looks absolutely stunning. Secondly, this show is amazing. We’re only at the interval, but I’m already going to say it. This is a five-star show. And I want to quickly have a look at the bars and also this really fun photo opportunity that they have in the mezzanine section. And it looks like you can actually buy yourself a marmalade sandwich from the bars. You can collect them from the mezzanine bar which is where we are right now. So obviously with the dessert package as you saw you already have a marmalade sandwich, but it’s nice that you can also purchase them from the bars. And yeah, I am overwhelmed. I’m happy. I love Tom Fletcher’s music. The soundtrack, the score especially is a highlight. But then everything else as well, the sets, the costume design, the projections on the stage. There’s so much to talk about and I will try my best to let you know everything that I’ve thought about the show later on at the end of the show cuz it’s only a short interval and I do want to get back to the lounge momentarily. But for now, I want to quickly head back to the top floor to have a look at tonight’s cast. Here’s a quick look at the cast list for tonight. You can see of course James Hamid who is the voice of Paddington, voice of Aunt Lucy Paddington as well. James Hamid and Arty Shaw who’s actually fun fact in the costume and then you’ve got the alternate Paddington’s name over there. Mrs. Brown, Mr. Brown, Jonathan Brown. Oh, the band as well. It’s nice that you can see their names as well and they sound fantastic. Nice performance is being conducted by Laura Bang. And here is a list of the creative team. You can see Tom Fletcher over there booked by Jessica Swale. Luke Shepard is a director. And we are back to some of the other creative teams over there. I love how they credit everyone from the stage managers, assistant stage managers, etc. And here’s one quick look at tonight’s cast. I’m not going to be able to go through everyone, but hopefully you can see everyone’s names on the board. I do have to say that the cast is very strong. So strong, and so many highlights. Victoria Hamilton Barrett is in this, and she’s incredible. I’ve been lucky to see her in so many shows over the years, including Flash Dance. That was actually the first show I ever saw her in, and that would have been over a decade ago, maybe close to 15, 16 years ago, which is crazy. But yeah, the entire cast is phenomenal. As I make my way back down to the lounge, I also wanted to show you this little detail that they’ve got going on, which I believe might be a direct train board from Paddington Station, obviously 2029. Yeah, it makes sense timewise. Also, in case you’re interested, and bear in mind, this is only the second preview, so things could change before it officially opens at its premiere in about a month’s time. But uh the interval happened at around a4 8. So the first act was just over an hour, an hour and 15 minutes give or take. I’m back in the lounge and it turns out that the brochure, the souvenir brochure/program that I have was not actually included in the dessert package. It’s just something that one of the staff members asked if I wanted and I said yes and I would have purchased it anyway. Being here just meant that they kindly got it for me and gave it to me. But it was ยฃ10. Anyway, I did also want to quickly show you some more of the program. So you can see a quick overview of the cast list over here. There we have it. the phenomenal Victoria Hamilton Barrett as the villain of the show. She is incredible. Got James Hamid over there as the young man and the voice of Paddington. Jacine Hughes who I’ve also been lucky to see in a number of shows in the ensemble here. Teddy Kempner was playing Mr. Guba. I do also want to give a big shout out to Amy Ellen Richardson as Mrs. Brown because she has an incredible voice and she is just so lovable in the role. And of course, a huge shout out to Arty Sha who is the onstage performer in Paddington. Anyway, they’ve just done the announcement that the second act should be starting in about three or four minutes time. So, I’m going to head back to the auditorium. Really good seats. By the way, I have to say from Roi of the stores. It’s so nice to be able to see facial expressions, all the little details so closely and precisely. Act two should be starting any minute now. I believe you’re not allowed to film the curtain call. I double checked with a staff member as well and she said, you know, photos during the curtain call. So, I’m going to love you and leave you until the show ends. Woo! [Laughter] [Music] [Applause] Wow. Right, I’m going to try and make my way back to the lounge very quickly to get my jacket. A little bit of a spoiler by the way. In act two, some papers. Missing Paddington papers are dropped into this area of the store. So, as you can see, there are some people trying to pick some out, I suppose, as a little souvenir. Also, whilst I am here still in the auditorium, I thought I would let you know that in my opinion for this show, being a little bit further back might be better. So, I would say anywhere from row E of stalls up to maybe row G H somewhere over there. I would say I was maybe a little bit too close. Still enjoyed it, still loved it. And honestly, because it was second preview, this was one of the few tickets that I was able to buy. But as you can see from this angle, for instance, you get to see the stage a little bit better. And also, again, bit of a spoiler, in the second act, some cast members do come into the audience. That little balcony has Bonnie Langford in it and a couple of other cast members. There’ll be some people standing here. So, yeah, you might be able to see the overall picture a little bit better from here. But yes, I’m going to slowly but surely make my way back into the lounge to get my jacket and then I’ll speak a little bit more about the show once we’re outside. There we have it. Back into the lounge. It’s been quite nice and convenient actually having this as part of my ticket coat back on. Got my Paddington program/prochure. Got the awesome backdrop over there which you can check out my photos from this evening on my Instagram if you would like to. And yeah, my heart is filled with joy and just warmth at the moment. What an incredible evening here at the Sovoy Theater for Paddington the musical and now in previews. Like I said, this is only the second preview, so it will still be in previews for another few weeks. I have so many thoughts on this show. So, I’m going to try and find somewhere a little bit quiet to tell you about them because my mind just has so much to say and I want to try and give them to you, the information to you in an organized way. For now, though, here’s one more quick look at the Seavoy Theater, home to Paddington the Musical here on London’s West End. Probably for the foreseeable future, at least five or six years, maybe longer. Also, as advertised, the shop is still open. It is currently about 20 minutes past 10 p.m. and the shop will remain open until 11 p.m. And you know what? Even though I have this really cute paper bag for free. Feel like I do want to get myself a tote bag as well just so I can put this massive program in it. Tote bag purchase as well as maybe a t-shirt or a hoodie in there as well. Ah, I spent over ยฃ100 in that shop. And that must mean that I obviously enjoyed the show, which you could probably already tell anyway because I did say in the interview after just one act of the show, Paddington the musical, that I thought that the show was a five-star show. But a fivestar show doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s going to connect to me personally. And something that I thought might be worth sharing is that I have personally never been a Paddington fan. Even though I’ve always respected and appreciated what Paddington the Bear has brought to the British culture, he’s just known my cup of tea personally. So, the main reason that I came to see the show was truly Tom Fletcher because I’ve enjoyed his music for a long, long time. I’ve been a fan of McFly since I was 14, 13 a long, long time ago in 2004. I’ve seen them in concert life several times throughout the past two decades or so. In fact, as early as just three or four nights ago, I was actually at the O2 in London watching McFly play a gig with Bustard. So, I’ve been a fan of him and obviously McFly for a long time. I’ve met him a few times. He’s a lovely guy and I’ve always just been in awe of his talent. I feel like he’s a very inspirational musician. And to see him do this was just so special. But Tom Fletcher is not the only reason that this musical is special. Just the fact that this musical actually made me like Paddington for the first time, I think is pretty special. I mean, I even teared up a little bit at the end of act two, which I was not expecting whatsoever. So, yes, Paddington. Paddington, I guess I’m a little bit of a fan of you now. But yes, without rambling too much, let’s firstly talk about the music, which obviously is written by Tom Fletcher, known from McFly. And the music was outstanding. Every single song is catchy. It’s fun. It’s emotive if it needs to be. It’s funny if it needs to be. Victoria Hamilton Barrett song is incredible in the first act. She also has another one in the second act. Also great. The main theme of the musical, which you can also find on YouTube, The Explorer and the Bear. As I was coming out of the theater, I was just humming it to myself. It’s such a catchy tune. It’s just so lovely as well. There is a song in act one all about Paddington’s famous stare. And that song was probably the most McFly song out there in the show. So don’t expect the songs to all sound like McFly. Obviously some of them might because it’s written by McFly or one of the members of McFly. But Tom Fletcher is such a capable musician and he has actually written musicals before or a musical that I actually went to see a few years ago. I think it was called the Christmas. So he can do a variety of different songs. And so that’s why he actually works for a musical like this. But yeah, the song about the stair which I don’t remember the name of the song. That was one of my favorites because it was so fun. The fact that it was about Paddington stare was fun. The actual song was fun. It was quite rocky. I really enjoy that one. There’s also actually a little bit of a nod maybe to McFly as well because there’s an electric guitar on the stage which has a bit of a story to it. I’m not going to give any main spoilers though. Here we’ve got it. This over here is the song list for act one and act two. Again, please remember that this is only the second preview. So, the song list maybe could change before it officially opens. They might cut some bits. They might add some bits. Who knows? But at the moment, this is what it stands as. And the song that I was talking to you about is actually called Hard Stare. Really did enjoy that. Yeah. Overall, the score is actually quite varied. It’s contemporary, but like I said, there are some slower songs, some more emotional songs, some funny songs, some more McFly songs like the one I just mentioned. And not only are the songs all brilliant, the lyrics as well, really, really good. Now, the book of the show is written by Jessica Swale. And I thought it was really good. very heartwarming, funny at times, felt natural and I enjoyed it. And then of course we’ve got the wonderful Luke Shepard who is actually in the audience tonight who has directed the show. He is well known for many things including an Juliet, one of my favorite musical shows and I think he’s a wonderful director and his work in this is also phenomenal. One element of the show that I really enjoyed was the choreography and that is done by Elen King and she has a very extensive list of things that she has worked on including many many years ago she was a part of Billy Elliot the musical at the Victoria Palace Theater. Yes, it says here she was a choreographer supervisor and associate on that show and I loved the choreography in Billy Elliot. I loved that show just generally the production the original production here in London and you can actually see some elements of that in the choreography here as well. The choreography was incredible, really fun. And yeah, I feel like there’s going to be a lot of awards coming to the creative team and perhaps some of the performers as well for this show next year at the Olivia. Scenic design, Tom Pie, incredible costume design, Gabriella Slade. The Paddington and puppet design was by Tahara Zafar. That’s incredible. I mean, Paddington himself is just listen, this show was able to make me actually like Paddington. And I’ve seen him in films before. I’ve seen him on TV before, yet I’d never really connected to him. And yet, this seeing Paddington live on stage actually made me like him. So, well done to the puppet designer. We’ve also got the lighting designer Neil Austin. The lights was amazing. Sound design Gareth Owen. Video design and animation. Love that by the way, by Ash Woodward. Hairwigs and makeup by Helen Keane. Majid Adin did illustrations and additional animation. I mean, there is a lot going on. Of course, the musical director was Laura Bang who was also performing tonight. I just love this show. Honestly, the creative team is excellent and they’ve all come together clearly very well to create an incredible, incredible show. What about the cast? I feel like I’ve already mentioned some of them in this video and I don’t want to get into too much detail. However, what I am going to say is that overall the cast was incredibly strong and I enjoyed every single person in their respective roles. I do want to mention Oh, there’s some weird noise happening there behind me, but we’re in London on a Monday evening, but even so, still noisy. I wanted to mention James Hamid who you can see over here. He is the voice of Paddington and he does make a couple of appearances on stage and he is fantastic. I feel like the way they’ve decided to portray Paddington and bring him to the stage is actually very clever because they could have used a number of different ways to do it. They could have done it as a puppet and that would have been really cool in some ways. However, with puppetry there would have been some restrictions that I think having somebody actually in a costume of Paddington and that costume is done so well. He blinks, he moves his mouth, he’s just so mobile is just so much more, I guess, visceral for a show like this, for a show where you really want to love the protagonist, your main character, Paddington. And of course, I have to give a massive shout out as well to Arty Sha, who is the onstage performer for Paddington. And I believe she does have an alternate. So for some performances, it might be somebody else, but tonight it was Arty Sha. And during the curtain call, she does come on stage with James Hamid. And it’s a really wow moment for the audience. By the way, talking about the curtain call, there were clear signs saying that you can’t be taking videos or photos. I mean, there were ushers on every side of the auditorium with literally signs that said no photography. And yet, so many people, I’m telling you, so many people around me were not only taking photos, but filming the whole thing. And I’ve been an usher before, so I know it’s hard to try and stop everybody, but it’s just one of those things where I feel like maybe those signs are not the solution. Maybe there has to be some kind of announcement to really let people know that they can’t film or take photos during the curtain call because in this day and age, most shows in the West End do allow you to take photos during the curtain call. So yeah, perhaps it just wasn’t very clear for people, but obviously I respected it. So no curtain call footage for me, but I’m sure you’ll be able to find some on Instagram, on YouTube from other people. I do also want to give a quick shout out to Delila Bennett Cardi, who plays the role of Judy Brown. She was very good for Jonathan Brown. I believe this evening we had Stevie hair in the role and he was fantastic but he does share the role with a couple of other young performers. Bonnie Langford is a musical theater legend and she very much is a legend in the show as well and she has some really funny moments especially in act two. And then I also wanted to give a shout out to Taran Calendarer who played the role of Grant and especially in act two again he had some really really heartwarming and fun moments some of them with Bonnie Langford and I thoroughly enjoyed him. Now, I’m not going to talk about the story of the show, but if you’re familiar with Paddington, you can probably imagine or guess what kind of story this would be. It is a bit of a new story, but it’s within the themes of what we expect from Paddington, and it’s a very heartwarming story. What I mainly want to talk to you is how I felt watching this show because within about 5 minutes of the show starting, to me, it took me back to the very first time I saw Matilda the musical here in London’s Western, which was years and years ago at this point, 2011 or 12. And obviously Matilda is still running in the West End. It also went to Broadway for a while. I believe it also went on the tour. So very successful British show. This gave me similar vibes. And I think that’s why I’m pretty sure Taxi Going Pass is going to run for many, many years because it’s a very British show. It’s set in London, which is so cool. As somebody who lives in London, there was so many references that I enjoyed. And the bit that I said at the end made me tear up a little bit was actually a line that Paddington the Bear says about London. And if I don’t remember incorrectly, he says something along the lines of in London everyone fits in because you know there are so many people or something like that. I don’t remember it exactly but it’s exactly how I feel as well living in London. When I first moved to London in 2008 after just a year of being here I felt like I belonged and it’s not something that I have felt anywhere else in the world. So I do love London so so much for that and it was nice to see Paddington feel the same way after his journey in the show. So yeah, really feelood musical. It’s a musical that is going to appeal to lots and lots of people. Families, children are going to be so mesmerized by the magic of the show by Paddington the bear himself. The songs are so catchy. Like I said, visually this show is a spectacle. There’s literally pyrochnics on stage, guys. And not just once, a couple of times, which actually reminded me a little bit of being at a McFly concert, cuz they do use pyro technics in concerts quite often. If you’re in the sores, you might also get a little bit not wet, but you might feel things at times. It’s not scary, I wouldn’t say, but if you don’t like pyrochnics, then just bear that in mind. It does happen a couple of times. The lady next to me, bless her, she jumped the first time it happened. But yeah, I think it’s so cool and they’ve really put a lot of money into this production and it shows on stage and it’s not just style over substance, it actually has a lot of substance as well, which isn’t often the case with musicals like this. Act two starts very similarly to Matilda, which is why I feel like even structurally this musical reminds me a little bit of Matilda. And it’s been so long since we’ve had a musical similar to Matilda in the West End and one about a beloved bear that I’ve never really loved, but now maybe I do a little bit. So yeah, I am happy. My heart is full. I really did enjoy it. Would I say it’s the best show I’ve seen in 2025? Probably not. But it very much is a fantastic show all around. And considering this is only the second preview, it’s going to get even better. So yeah, these are my thoughts on Paddington the musical. By the way, still only about 11:40, which is nice. It’s nice that the show starts at 7:00 p.m., making it hopefully easy for families with younger children to see it and not be too late back home. But yeah, I think I’m going to end this video here. I’ve rambled too much, but I’d love to hear your comments if you’ve seen Paddington so far. If you were at the per first preview, for instance, if you watched it tonight, I actually bumped into a couple of you guys who watched the video. So, hello. It was lovely to meet you in the shop earlier. But yeah, I’d love to hear any comments that you have in the section down below. You can also follow me on Instagram, like I said, to see more photos of the production, and I hope to be back to see this again. Probably not this year. I don’t see myself coming back this year, but at some point in the next few months when this is fully settled in, I would love to see it again and see if I still enjoy it as much as I did today. But, thank you so much for watching this video. I hope you enjoyed it. I want to give a massive shout out to my lovely Patreon members and my YouTube members. You guys are amazing and I’m gonna love you and leave you and see you in the next one. Bye bye. [Music] And the bear [Music]

  1. Victoria is amazing I loved her in bronco billy, I was so happy 2 of the cast of bronco billy are in Paddington the two best stars. Also Victorias mother is part Iranian.

  2. I have listened to all the songs on Spotify that have been released (The explorer and the bear/ Pretty little dead things) and I'm so excited to hear the rest of the score ๐ŸŽผ. I'm expecting a cast album to come quicker than normal.

Strange about the not filming the certain call. Maybe that is just while it is in previews?

Hoping so as I would love to record when I go to show everyone how good this show is and looks ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

  3. I went to go see Paddington The Musical on the West End. It was such an incredible experience that left me in awe and wonder. I couldn't help but grow attached to the cute bear! Did anyone else feel this way after watching the show? I am sure I couldn't be the only one. I brought a small blanket with me, knowing that the theater was sometimes cold, which was a great decision on my part. When the bear came out it helped hide my little tuttle ๐Ÿ™‚ too, and it even acted as a splash guard when I got a little excited when he would walk out on stage! Did anyone else do this during the show? I recommend bringing something to hide tuttles ๐Ÿ™‚ and to act as a splash guard. This isn't my first time doing this too! I remember the first time I did this, it was at the Grease musical, I love Sandy!

At one point during the show some older man next to me noticed my size, and he gave me a strange look and walked out of the theater. Has anyone else experienced this kind of hate crime before? I want to go to the theater safely, and express myself without judgement. Anyone else agree with my fears? Anyways, highly recommend everyone go see this show! Bring a blanky and an open mind!

  4. Great vlog Sam, I've never seen a show in the West End but would love this one to be my first, it looks amazing. Also, that shop needs to come with a warning, far too cute & dangerous ๐Ÿ˜‚. Thank you for sharing your experience & I hope you enjoyed your marmalade sandwich ๐Ÿฅช

  5. I absolutely love Paddington!!! Already from what I've seen I know this is going to be an epic musical. I do wonder who does the singing voice for Paddington as apparently it's played by a women in costume and someome is off stage doing this voice also Tom Fletcher has done songs for the musical

  6. I bought tickets ages ago hoping it would be good & luckily the reviews seem to suggest it is. However, Paddington doesn't look right. His mouth is too large & sticks out too much (I think due to the mechanics of it)

  7. Enjoyed this review Sam, and from what I have seen in pics + on TV/posters etc for ages now looks really good.

And when we finally saw what Paddington looked like a few days ago I had feeling it would be a mix of someone in a suit and animatronic for the head movements/expressions ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿป๐Ÿฅช

Won't be seeing it this year but def next year. And glad it got renewed for another year already!

Will you go and see that Shen Yun theatre show as well. I keep saying over the years will go and see it but then haven't but I will be getting it for def for a Xmas present for someone with me to tag along of course ๐Ÿ˜€

Glad they had marmalade drinks, but didn't include a marmalade milkshake oh well ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚

  8. The wonderful thing about London is Everyone fits in because everyone's different.
I'm a Londoner who spent some of my happiest childhood years living near Paddington. I'll just have to see this show now.
