MAROC DAY 6

[Music] [Music] a blank glow fades in the mirror. We’ve eventually parked up in the uh linear conception camping car park with 100 places in here. Uh see some there. They got the yachts parked up as well. It’s Catherine. Um, we came here a couple of years ago on the motorbike. Stayed a night and we we walked halfway up that that rock. Uh, it was very steep to walk up there. Loads of monkeys and things to see. Old war tunnels. So, if you ever get down this way, park up here. €15 for the night. And it flies everywhere. Get off me ears. and you can go into a little bit of England still. Morning from the uh marina of Gibralta and we’ve spent a very quiet night in the camper van. Our friend behind me there, he’s uh Bernard who has joined us from uh Bayon. He’s come down. He done a thousand over 1,000 kilometers in two days. So hats off to him. He’s joined us and uh it’s nearly 8:00 in the morning. We’re going to get on the road, head round to Aljiraas, get our tickets and get down on the uh ferry and we’re going to cross over to Morocco to Tangier Med. And we’ll see you there, fellas. Who’s calling? Answer it all. stretch long in this timeless place and grand. We park by the tide. Tony, my friend Ever seen the dawn? Turn the desert into fire. Let’s stay till it’s gone. The stove soft. The te poured just right. Night wraps us up in it. Oh, we’re rolling where the tar meets the road. Windows down wide. This whole wild land from the blue city gates to the dunes. Standing still. Last night we slept over there somewhere. Lovely calm night. Here’s the rock of Gibralta. We’re going to sail past there straight across and our traverse uh 1 hour crossing would be still [Music] [Music] a couple of guys fishing there in their fishing boats. I think in another 20 minutes we should be keyed up on the ports. They’re fishing for some nice fish. We’ll be eating that up tonight. wide this whole wild land. From a blue city gates to the dune, standing still, Morocco’s calling. We answer it all. Well, there we are. We’ve made it. Got through all the customs. Didn’t take too long. uh probably an hour, hour and a half altogether since the boat docked and getting to this parking space in Moro Danj. So we’re now going to head up to uh Mong is called a little town on right on the sea coast on the Mediterranean side. Then we’re going to head off tomorrow. After months of planning and stress, we’re finally in Morocco on the African continent. Not too stressful coming through the customs under the uh radar machine, but everything went super cool. Now we’re heading up to Matila, a little town on the Mediterranean side. spend a night there, have a walk around the town, and then tomorrow we’re off up to Chef Shua’s glow fades in the mirror. Our home on wheels. No need to fe curves of the road like a friend. I know. Gibrala. Well, we’ve done about uh 10 kilometers out of the port and we’ve already been through three police controls on the road. One with a radar and two to stop you just to check you over. But we were flagged through both times, so that’s okay. Obviously in Morocco you got to be very careful of the speed limit. They’re very keen with their laser guns. Anyway, we stopped at the top of this hill to take in the look. Check this out, guys. GPS. [Music] And tonight we’re down there somewhere on the seafront. [Music] land. From the blue city gates to the dune, standing still rocks calling. Answer it all. Then immediately turn right. [Music] After 300 years, they have a traffic. Ever seen the dawn turn the desert into fire? Let’s stayone after. [Music] Okay, we’ve left the candy cars on the parking. You can probably see right over the back near the sea front. And now we’re going to have a walk around this big town. See if we can find somewhere nice to eat. Answer it all.

After 6 days we finnaly arrive in Maroc. first night is in Martil, a town on the sea. #maroc #martil #travel #campingtrip
