We show real life in Alanya: walking to our rental apartment, breakfast on the terrace, and a look inside a typical Turkish fridge to show everyday food and prices in Turkey. The weather in September stays around +30 °C, and most apartment complexes include a free pool for residents.

Next we visit Oba Beach Alanya, a quiet residential district with long sandy beaches and clear water. We stop by popular local cafes and restaurants such as Kahveland, showing what eating out in Alanya looks like. Migros and 5M Migros supermarkets offer local and imported food, including gluten- and lactose-free products.

You will also see how to buy a Turkcell SIM card (bring your passport), outdoor gyms near the beach, bus stops with taxi call buttons, and how to pay with the Alanya Card or a bank card on local buses. In the city centre we pass the bazar market, shops like Mavi, DeFacto and Ambar with affordable Turkish clothes, and international brands inside Alanyum Mall. Clothing prices in Turkey remain lower than in Western Europe, though the Turkish lira exchange rate changes quickly.

The walk continues through Alanya city centre with cafes such as Mado, cheap restaurants, and ice-cream shops. We visit Kleopatra Beach Alanya, one of the best beaches in Turkey with fine sand and turquoise water. The video shows sushi cafes, outdoor markets in Oba, and evening walks through the lively streets of Alanya. You’ll also see Damlatas Beach, Shakespeare Coffee & Bistro, McDonald’s, Koton store, and many small Turkish restaurants serving traditional food.

We visit Teleferik cable car to Alanya Castle, walk through the Old Town Marina, visit the Red Tower, and enjoy panoramic views over the city. The historic castle dates back to the Byzantine and Roman eras and later became an open-air museum. From the hilltop, the 6.5-kilometer wall and towers surround one of the most scenic parts of Alanya.

After exploring the historic area, the video continues through Devlet Bahceli Park with its large Alanya sign overlooking the city and sea.

Near Kleopatra Beach there are many hotels, bars, and cafes along the promenade, including Yemen Kahvesi. We also show the Alanya Marina with boat tours and seafood restaurants, and the beautiful Kedi Evi Park — a green garden full of cats in the centre.

Evenings in Alanya often include weddings and fireworks; you’ll see how celebrations sound from residential areas. The vlog ends with our last day in Alanya, a short taxi ride to the bus station, and tickets for the minibus to Antalya for 40 lira per person.

This video is perfect if you want to see Alanya city centre, beaches, markets, shopping streets, apartments, and transport in detail. You’ll find useful information for planning a trip, vacation, or long stay.
