This is not just an architectural feature, but one with deep significance. Democratic transparency. The dome’s design symbolizes that citizens, the visitors inside the dome can look directly down into the plenary chamber below, reflecting the idea of transparency in the political process. Energy efficiency. The dome plays a crucial role in the building’s sustainability. Specially designed mirrors direct natural light into the plenary hall, reducing the need for artificial lighting, and the structure functions as a natural ventilation system. 360° view.
