Vanlife in Spain | 2 Girls, 1 Old VW & Hippie Summer in Tarifa

This is us, two girls one old 2002 Volkswagen campervan and a whole lot of freedom no fancy plans no big itinerary just the open road through southern Spain from Tarifa’s wild beaches to the cliffs of Los caños de Meca chasing sunsets waves and that easy summer feeling days of salty hair barefoot mornings and nights parked under the stars sometimes we get lost sometimes we just stop because that’s kind of the point welcome to our little summer on wheels hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome to a new adventure this this time I’m going to explore the south of Spain this region of El Palmar and Bolonia we’re gonna go with a camper van and this camper van it’s my friend’s camper van she’s here from the south of Spain so she knows the best spots and this is her on camper van super cute super nicely decorated and I always love new adventures and I want you to come with us let’s go okay guys so this is the camper van of my friend this becomes a bed there are lights there is a cute room over there there is a lot of storage here this is the fridge so everything is very simple it’s not like the the like super new campervan it’s from 2,002 so you can see it’s very like vintage and I love that to be honest so this is the fridge this is where we’re gonna be cooking and now this is my friend hello hahaha this is the front part uh not very organized now but yeah well you can fit 3 people and you can fit feed also 3 people but more comfortable for 2 cause it’s a small one and now we’re gonna go explore El Palmar we wanted to surf but we didn’t see many waves so let’s see what we can do today but usually this place is known for the surfing it’s one of the surfing destinations here in Spain this was our first day from our 5 day road trip around here we arrived in the afternoon to El Palmar from Fuengirola and had the time to enjoy the beach before sunset and to watch the sunset we moved the van to a perfect location watching the sunset Cuando donde estaba LA cómo se llama LA sombrilla hasta LA Luna pero viste que cuando vas caminando en La Playa no sabés Si LA persona está mucho más Baja por qué ah sí no yo era natural no yo no estaba había no había nada sabés yo no tenía o sea no no me había fijado que teníamos una now we’re gonna have dinner it’s honestly impressive that this camper van is so comfortable and it’s the oldest one that I’ve been like
all the other ones had showers and one of them had like two of them had toilets and they had like pretty big tables and space for four people and blah blah blah but this one is just like cozy and you it’s more comfortable like the bed is a proper bed it’s not like those thin beds you know y ahora cortamos un poquito de pan se come con pan vale voy a hacer el pollo Te gusta ujum está buenísimo good morning guys today is our second day is our first day actually waking up in the van I’m gonna show you how is our breakfast I have this super sleepy face because we woke up a few minutes ago and now we’re gonna have breakfast ahí Estoy now we are on our way to the beach called caños de Mecca and it’s a very hippie place as you can see there the culture of um camper van a lot of cute restaurants and the beach is beautiful absolutely beautiful from Los caños de MECA we walked down to the Trafalgar Lighthouse located at one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen in Spain we explored the area went swimming and enjoyed the scenery definitely a must see spot El Primark cómo Te Llamas Lucas oh Lucas Te llamas Lucas Mira LA colita Mira sí es tipo más lleno de pelo Hola mi amor lunch time tortilla tortilla depends on who is talking bread very healthy Ja Ja ja ja

Ja yo nunca COMí Tortillas en el pan que nunca comiste QUé Tortilla en el pan en serio bocadillo de tortilla de toda LA vida por dios so we were supposed to go surfing in El Palmar this afternoon but there were absolutely no waves if there were even bad waves we would have gone surfing cause I really wanted to go surfing it’s a place known for surfing so I was really excited about that but we as we couldn’t we decided to just hit the road and go to the next destination so we’ve been to already two destinations that we had on the list El Palmar and cañas De Meca the place that we were this morning and now we’re gonna go to Bolonia and I’ve been there already but I haven’t been to this part that we are gonna go and I’m super excited for that it’s a really beautiful beach it’s in Tarifa and then we’re gonna spend the night there the the views on the road are absolutely amazing I’m gonna show it to you and then tomorrow we’re gonna do a walk we’re gonna a little hike to a different beach and yeah if there are waves we go surfing there but the place that is known for surfing is El Palmar so I don’t think there will be any any waves tomorrow anyway let’s go hit the road and let’s go to our next destinations and we are wearing matching matching t shirts we have the Brazil one so haha this is Bologna just got here we just got here in Bolonia and this is where we parked we parked just by the beach this is our view this is where we’re gonna be sleeping waking up tomorrow I’m gonna show you how it looks and we just had some merienda now yeah now we’re just gonna relax no plans now we’re gonna have a shower and I’m gonna show you how you can have a shower in a vintage uh camper van Voy a agarrar tu móvil un momento para hacer una cosa bueno listo Listo HABíA LA Luna disculpa de LA Luna nos despertamos LA Primera abrimos Esto y es Como si Buenos DíAS Mundo y pues ay yo quiero hacer un video de yo quiero what’s up what’s up what’s up what’s up what’s up what’s up what’s up what’s up we just went to the beach stayed a little bit by the water went swimming a bit and now we are back to the event very we are having a very chill day and then after lunch we’re gonna go for a mini hike to a beach that is not as full as this one this one is beautiful but during summer it gets like this so yeah a bunch of people so yeah olives yummy yummy paro de caraminal we’re going there she said it’s beautiful so yeah and our way now is absolutely beautiful look at this so first we’re going to the photo and then we’re going to the beach it’s a beautiful I was not expecting that to be honest I thought it was more of a beach walk Hola this place is honestly insane there is no one it’s so different from the beach 20 minutes later here we are we just got to the beach and it’s beautiful one of the I think the most beautiful beach I’ve been to Spain so far there are a lot of places for me to explore but it’s just not exaggerating I’m having a great time here and now let’s go for a swim together well guys so now the van is a bit broken uh no it’s not broken but it’s something is off like a light is saying that it’s very hot something I don’t know anything about cars and chat GPT is saying for us to not move until it gets cooler again so yeah we’re here in the middle of the road we need to learn it a little she needs to learn a little bit more about cars because it’s her van obviously I do as well I should know more as well because I always go to trips on campervan but yeah uh so now we are in the middle of the road like this waiting for the van to be back to life but yeah to life hahaha en el caso es que lo que pasa es que este es el primer verano de LA furgoneta sí Sabes nunca ha sido un agosto nunca no sé tengo que IR conociéndola a guy helped us and now the sign is not here anymore we’re gonna go buy like a liquid to to make it cooler but at least now we were able to put some water in and yeah that’s one of the downsides of having a an older camper van it’s vintage it’s cool but you can have a different problems but anyway it’s nice it’s part of the it’s part of the adventure always good morning guys welcome to our third day in the camper van yesterday I stopped filming after the problem with the camper van we we had a lot of trouble with the camper van so it was getting too hot and we weren’t able to move for a bit we had to ask for help we we had to look for like some sort of liquid we don’t understand much about cars as you can see um and then we had a lot of problems to to fix it but in the end after a bunch of hours we were able to continue the trip and now the now the van has the proper liquid we’re checking if it’s uh losing some sort in some sort of different way that she needs to take it to the mechanic but so far it looks all good and we have the right we have the right liquid and something really nice about um camper van life is that other people that has that have camper vans they are really nice and they are really open so we just asked for help and everyone was super friendly they just helped us and they gave us the liquid so it was really really nice you can count on people obviously there are weird people everywhere but we were lucky that we met very nice people um and yeah today we came to this place called Punta Paloma we woke up here we already had breakfast we are sleeping in a place with the mountains on the background and the beach is right here I’m gonna show it to you now we’re gonna go um for a swim it’s a it’s really windy today so this place is known for the wind people come here from all over the world to do wind surf to do kite surf it’s a destination of wind so today is really windy even more than usual so we don’t know how easy it’s gonna be to do things but we are gonna go try to go to the water to go for a swim and then we’re gonna go to some natural pools that she wants to take me and she’s already like let’s go um and yeah we’re gonna go for a hike let’s go friend is here ready for the day and she’s already like stop hahaha we had breakfast and this is where we’re sleeping look at the beautiful mountain right here and hello I I wanna I wanna show you the the beach uh 20 meters from here this is the beach you can see a lot of schools like like kitesurf schools windsurf a little windy as you can see hahaha with a song in my heart so as I mentioned before this destination is very hippie and this area of the woods there are a lot of hippies living like we just crossed a mom and a baby and they live basically with with no clothes bathing and doing their lives there you know it’s super interesting they have their own language yeah they communicate with this language and they live there without clothes and bathing showers in nature like completely raw like a tribe and these are the natural pools Turas en LA Piedra esta se meten los granitos pero aquellas no se meten pero mirá LA Mesa cuál es LA diferencia entre el barrito de este y ese Ja Ja no puedo reír Espera after the hike we got back to the van the the hike was amazing we were talking to a hippie that lives at the beach and he we were talking to him for like an hour two hours I don’t know it was just so relaxing so good to disconnect completely and it’s just full of hippies that live there it’s it’s an interesting thing as I said we saw a mother and a a little child we saw him we saw another one we saw two other ones by the end all like with no clothes just living in the middle of the woods or at the beach so so interesting and now we’re back to the van it’s our last night I don’t wanna go but you know we have to go back to life um and yes so now we’re organizing the van this is our last sunset I don’t wanna go this was our last night in the van and we had to
