Day one of traveling. First things first, flying around the sky in a metal tube for 20 hours. Most stressful part of the day done. And nothing says romantic adventure like having a stranger’s elbow rammed into your ribs in economy. The airplane food was a crime against my taste buds. And nice to get some authentic Chinese food. And these noodles were absolute 1010. Then on to flight number two. Got the window seat. So I basically won the aviation lottery. More cardboard food, but it was free, so I had it. Also, does that count as me going to China now? Let me know in the comments. landed in Cambodia’s brand new $2 billion airport, which to be honest makes Hephro look like a bus station. And then finally, time for the reunion, which was hands down one of the best moments I’ve ever had. We are so bad. And even got greeted by her parents. Just a shame that had to hear me butcher the one Cambodian phrase I was learning the whole flight. And that’s day one done. We’re hopping about Southeast Asia.
