Watch the fishermen sell their daily catch and hike up to the Notradam de Lagard for an incredible 360° view. Don’t forget to explore the trendy Le Pagany District and take a boat trip to the stunning Kankes National Park with its turquoise waters and limestone cliffs. For number six, we’re hitting the glamorous shores of the French Riviera, also known as the Coat Dazour. This legendary coastline is famous for its sparkling blue waters, luxurious yachts, and star-studded towns. Stroll along the Prominade Deslay in Nice. Try your luck at the Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco, or soak up the artistic vibes in S. Paul Deancece. The French Riviera is the epitome of sun soaked sophistication and natural beauty. Halfway through our list at number five, we have Dordonia. This region in southwestern France is a haven for lovers of history, nature, and incredible food. It’s home to prehistoric cave paintings like the famous Lasco, thousands of castles, and picturesque villages like Roamador, which clings dramatically to a cliffside. You can spend your days canoeing down the Dordonia River, and your evenings enjoying local delicacies like fuagra and truffles. It’s a truly enchanting part of the country. At number four, we find ourselves in the stunning region of Provence. Picture this. Endless fields of fragrant lavender, charming hilltop villages like gourds, and bustling markets filled with local produce. Provence inspired artists like Van Gogh and Saison. And it’s easy to see why. From the ancient Roman ruins in Arles to the dramatic gorge du verdon often called Europe’s Grand Canyon, Provence offers a sensory experience that will stay with you long after you leave. Now for our top three. Landing the number three spot is the iconic Mon St. Michelle. This tidal island and its magnificent abbey in Normandy are one of France’s most unforgettable sites. At high tide, the abbey appears to float on the water, creating a truly magical spectacle. Walking up the winding streets to the top is like stepping back in time. It’s a place of pilgrimage, history, and pure architectural wonder. A visit here is an absolute must. Our runner up at number two is the majestic French Alps. Whether you’re a ski enthusiast, a hiker, or just someone who loves breathtaking mountain scenery, the Alps are a year-round paradise. In winter, worldclass resorts like Shamoni and Corchal offer some of the best skiing on the planet. In summer, the snow melts to reveal lush green valleys, pristine lakes, and endless trails for hiking and biking.
