Baltic Sea Cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas (Was It Worth Doing?)

[Music] Well, we’re leaving our hotel in Amsterdam going to train station and picking up a train to take us to the airport to fly to Copenhagen to meet our beautiful young ladies and to get on our cruise ship for the Baltic. So, and uh can’t wait to see our girls. Well, do you think they use enough bicycles in Astradown? And it’s like this all over the city. It’s unbelievable. All right, we’re on to our next phase of our adventure. We just got on our second cruise ship of the trip, Voyager of the Seas. We’re going to be doing the Baltics. And I have uh me and Vanessa have a couple special guests along the way. Hi. My oldest beautiful daughter, daughter, Alexandria, and my second beautiful daughter, Katherine. my pretty mama back there. So, we’re getting ready to play uh and win trivia and uh going to have a good day, a good cruise. Well, our next day is an at sea day and I’m currently sailing for the first time in the Baltic Sea and I must say it is extremely calm. It’s actually like being on a giant lake. Um, even the wave patterns look like a lake rather than the the ocean. It It’s very nice. It’s a bit chilly this morning, but um we got our girls with us and we’re going to have a great day. We’re uh going to be doing the Iumi Japanese restaurant for lunch and then uh bunch of games and that sort of thing today and just relaxing, having a good time. And then um tomorrow we uh get off the ship and a new country. And we have two professional figure skaters resting on black on the rink now. Just a complete picture of gracefulness, gliding ease. [Music] Happy birthday to you. [Applause] Today we are sailing into Stockholm, Sweden. And um there’s a series of small inlets that we have to sail into before we get to the city of Stockholm. And uh very pretty. We’ve made it to Stockholm, Sweden, and we’ve just arrived downtown. We’re actually here in front of the palace. Uh you can see one of the palace guards behind me. And uh this palace is enormous. Looks like they’re doing some some renovation work on the front of it. But uh the city is absolutely beautiful and uh can’t wait to spend the day here. Okay, this building here is where they award the Nobel Prizes for people around the world and also holds the museum for all the Nobel Prize winners. [Music] What’s the name fish. My name is [Music] Today we are in far Eastern Europe. We’re in the country of Estonia that used to be part of the old Soviet Union. And uh we’re going to make our way down to the old medieval city of Talon and it’s supposed to be really beautiful and check all that out. Uh there’s a lot of uh old Soviet buildings and things like that that we’re going to see today. And uh once again, we’re going to have a great day. [Music] climbing. Coming up one of the medieval towers that are through the city that get us to their defensive structure. That’s quite the steep. These really narrow out. No, it’s so good. [Music] Now these are some narrow passageways. Here we go. Here we go. Rope. Here we go. [Music] confused. This is the top of the tower. [Music] We are walking the old medieval wall that used to guard the city years ago. It’s extremely beautiful here. And you can see how that wall extends. And at one time it went all the way around the city as a fortress. And we just went up one of the towers and we’re going to be going back down one of the other towers. All right. [Music] Another day, another country. Today we are in Helsinki, Finland. And uh looking forward to a big day. Uh it’s going to be a relatively short day. We have to be back on the ship uh about 2:00 2:30 and uh so we’re going to use the time that we can here and uh make the most of it. feeling. He Heat. Heat. N. [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Applause] [Applause] And then we apparently cook our own food here. So, we’ll see how that goes. But it looks very nice. Very nice here.
