Best Things To Do in Bohol Philippines 2025 4K
you from Bohol Philippines we’re going to show
you the best things to do let’s do it coming to you from the central part of the Philippines this
year is known as Visayas and Bohol right here is what we’re going to be showing you so the first
thing we’re going to do is some island hopping here in Panglao and we’re going to go to Balicasag and
the Virgin Island right here in the morning time go Balicasag is known as a divers Paradise it’s
located just off the southern tip of Bohol nearby the island of Panglao la which we’ll be talking
about a bit more as this video goes on but Balicasag has a couple dive resorts and it takes
about 45 minutes to get out here by boat “Paki Paki” I’ve got a local guide here to show me
the Underwater World. Below me we’ve got some beautiful coral let’s go take a look
and see what’s under there and you can see it’s teeming with life down here lots of coral
that is alive plenty of tropical fish yes you will see a few little Nemo’s some turtles it’s
really beautiful here and then it just drops off down into the ocean here and you’ll
see scuba divers off in the distance now from Bali kasag we actually head over to Virgin
Island now depending on where the tide is at The Sandbar will reveal itself or it will be
uh just covered by a shallow water oh we’re going for a dive here oh wait what is your name
r sir R yeah the hands some boy all right from B yeah all right so we’re here at Napaling this
is a dive site where you can swim with sardines and we’re out here there’s a big Cliff out here
you’ll see all around here let’s show you naping is actually off the island of Panglao and you
can see the big crack right here and it’s famous for the Sardine run you get a few of these areas
in Philippines Moalboal being the other one on Cebu but you can actually get that right here on uh
Panglao in Bohol but there’s lots of coral here as well really a beautiful dive site and they
even have some cliff jumping and I’ve actually going all across the Philippines here it is in
September and August which is typhoon season every once in a while you’ll get a clear blue sky day
which is a great day to go out and dive but then again the reefs are still there even if there
is clouds overhead but Philippines definitely stands out as probably one of the best places in
the world for people who want to discover and see Coral if you guys are looking at going to
do some island hopping when you’re in Panglao you can visit my friend right
here Andrew he’ll take good care of you so this beautiful white sand beach is
called Dumaluan now Dumaluan is more known for its beach clubs and Luxury Resorts there
are two big beaches on the island of pong Lao that are famous white sand Dumaluan being the
first one we’re showing you here but you could see this is a little bit more of a high-end
uh relaxing location there is another Island nearby called Pangangan Island uh it’s a lot more
remote than Panglao you can check it out as well so now what we’re going to do is go up into
the island of Bohol this here is Taug and right here they have whale shark swimming so oslob
on Cebu is the most famous place for swimming with whale sharks not many people know you can
also do that here on the east coast of ble and this here is another great site to swim with
these beautiful uh whale sharks just make sure you pay attention to the rules when you’re there
don’t get too close and definitely don’t touch the whale sharks some people say it’s unethical
to come out here so maybe do some research if you’re one of those types of people who is
concerned about swimming with whale sharks and even though it has the name shark in it these
are gentle Giants so you don’t have anything to worry about them swallowing you up or biting
you or anything just in case you were wondering and what they’re actually doing is swallowing
up Plankton tiny organisms that float in the water this here is the Lobok river cruise
you get on one of these boats they have a buffet on there and you get great views going
up the Lobok river here and the price for the cruise and the buffet is 850 pesos which comes
out to around $15.25 USD at the time of making this video the total length of this cruise
is around an hour to an hour and a half they have live music but really you’re coming out
here to get these beautiful views of what ble would have looked like before civilization and
they also do indigenous shows like this [Music] [Music] one the dance in the show is very friendly
it’s good for amilies taking pictures and enjoying yourself out here on the river they have a couple
other different dances it just depends on the day you arrive there are some other activities that
you can do while out here on the lobok river like doing the zipline they also have a cable car that
goes across the river but if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush the zip line is quite intense
I personally have not done it I just hear people screaming as they’re going over the lobok river
you can see it’s quite intense now some of you probably already know about the tars you can
actually go to an Eco Park where they have the tarsier right here for you to visit there’s about five
six or seven out there on the trees at any given time uh you don’t want to be loud or startle the
tarsier because if you are you could end up causing a heart attack for one of these Little Cuties but
be careful going around there and getting loud or getting too close Thousand Chocolate Hills out
there they’re not chocolate now they’re green because it’s rainy season but you get the idea
this unique geological formation is in the middle of Bohol island there are around 1,260 different
Chocolate Hills and you can actually go up to the top of some of these Hills and get great
views looking all around like I said they’re called The Chocolate Hills because during the dry
season they will be brown but because I was here during the rainy season they were covered in the
green grass another activity you can do here is ATV ladies and gentlemen now start your engines
I’m going with a buggy so I can bring my camera man but you could ride one of these ATVs if you
didn’t have a cameraman looks like it’s raining already she and the price is around 950 pesos for
1 hour that comes out to around7 or $18 not too bad this is a really good activity for an hour
to do for those of you looking for a little bit of fun but you’re going to get very muddy and
dirty on this especially if you’re here during rainy season now rainy season in the Philippines
typically goes from August until November at its strength that’s also known as typhoon season behle
is also known for having some famous Rice Terraces like the Rice Terraces in katapang in or in
Pilar after a long day ATV venturing you may be interested to go out for some nightlife this here
is The Nightlife scene on Panglao Island at Alona Beach probably the best nlife in all of Bohol so
if you’re looking for some nightlife come on down here to Alona Beach and have a good time they’ve
got little bit of tequila and soda water here the Sun is going down right here at the Oasis
Resort showing you some of the Vibes after the walk and for those of you who like to chase
waterfalls you can come out here to can uman Tod waterfall this big cascading waterfalls there
are a few other small ones on behle not quite as many as on say which you’ll definitely be able
to see on our next video coming up next this is the manmade Forest it was planted uh like uh
1958 after to 1970s by the student and some monitors and what kind of wood is it uh mahogany trees
that’s a hardwood yeah it’s a hardwood it’s good for uh Furniture so on behold do they actually
have a real natural forest or is it they have they have many forest in Bohol that are natural but
this is uh a reforestation project by the local government they really like the man-made Forest
here it’s something that the island of Bohol is very proud of and it’s included on most [Music]
tours oh welcome to the bee farm now the bee farm doesn’t actually have any bees here it’s just
called The Bee Farm because they used to actually produce all of the honey and have plenty of bees
here now the honey is actually imported from the other island of Mindanao here at the beef Farm they
do have a hotel also nice views and a restaurant so it’s a relaxing place to go in a very beautiful
Scenic part of the island of Panglao here in Bohol Province as you can see many of the activities on
this list are on the island of Panglao which is actually where bol’s only airport is located so
I would definitely consider base camping out of pong La maybe even Alona Beach see Siquijor and in
case you don’t know about Siquijor it’s one of the more famous Islands that’s up and coming in
Philippines that you can easily get to from Tagniliran port in Bohol within a 2-hour ferry ride Tagbiliran
being the main port area as well as the largest city in Bohol where you can easily get to Cebu
Dumuegete and Siquijor this is also the area where the Spanish did the blood compact with the locals
and they have a memorial now the blood compact was an agreement between Spain and the local Filipinos
the guy on the left is the local Filipino and the other men are the Spanish conquistadors if you
want to call them that and a blood compact is an ancient ritual in the Philippines where you
all put a little bit of blood into the cup and mix it and then drink it Baclayon church this is
actually one of the oldest Coral Stone churches in the world and one of the oldest churches in
general in Asia this bakalan church was one of the most significant churches in the old Spanish
era of the Philippines so you’re here in beh at one of the most significant areas of historical
relevance for Spain Bacalayon Church lighting some [Music] candles even though it does function as a church
I would say you’re going to want to come here for the museum especially if you’re curious to learn
more about the Spanish influence over Bohol and the Philippines and how much of the Philippines
to this day is still Catholic now here we are at the Butterfly farm they also have got other
animals that you can see at the Butterfly farm but for me coming to see all these butterflies
was the fun part oo lookie lookie now when you come to behle I would suggest spending at least 3
Days 7 days would be ideal most of that is going to be the base camp out of Alona beach in pong
Lao is what I would suggest and then definitely doing the tours whether it be doing the Chocolate
Hills and the ATV ride or the whale sharks or the island hopping lots to do out here we’ll see
you on the next next one from Siargao or Cebu

Dont get me wrong. I like Bohol. But Thailand has so much influence. Too many Lady boys, and too many beggars. It is sad.
