Spent 2 days in Signagi. They call it the City of Love for a reason. ❤️ Here are some tips:
Old Town – pastel houses, wooden balconies, narrow streets, chill doggos. Super calm, Italian hill-town vibe.
City Walls – long defensive walls with towers you can climb and walk around the city on those. Sunset views across the Alazani Valley are unreal. 🌅
Wine everywhere – the whole Kakheti region is filled with small family wineries. Qvevri-style tastings are easy to find and surprisingly personal. I really liked Wine Studio (on the pic)
Local vibe – slower pace, warm people, good food. Great place to just walk, shoot photos and enjoy the valley from above.
Day trip friendly – close to Tbilisi, but feels like a different world. You can take a mini bus to get there quickly and very cheap.
If you want peaceful streets, views, wine and that soft hillside atmosphere, Signagi delivers immediately. Enjoy!
