LYON FRANCE Evening Walk 4 K | Relaxing Walk Through Lyon
Nice to see you 🤗 I am in Lyon, France. I flew here today, and after dropping off my things at the hotel, I wanted to stroll through the city right away. So here I am Lyon, you’re about to be explored by me 😉 I meant to perk up with espresso, but the lovely shop ladies swayed me toward pistachios and verbena tea. 😋 No worries. This channel’s staying “TravelCoffee”, not “TravelTea” 🙃 My love for good coffee 💕 is way too strong to be steeped in anything else… Lyon is at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers, near the French Alps. It lies southeast of Paris, north of Marseille, and southwest of Geneva. I’m strolling through the old town of Lyon. It’s truly charming here. Skipping Lyon’s epic history for now. Next video’s got it covered. Research? Yes, that’s me. And…hope you’re just enjoying the stroll with me 🤗 Lyon is often compared to Paris because both cities are culturally and historically significant. Lyon feels like a more relaxed and perhaps more unpretentious alternative to the capital.. For me, what makes a city special is the combination of authenticity, its energy, and an understanding of its history in the background. To be honest, I’m not really a fan of comparisons. Every city has its own character. And I love discovering that. It’s raining, but you know what? I don’t mind walking in the rain, I actually enjoy it. I should probably head to the restaurant soon. I booked it through my hotel before the flight. In France, people sit outside even when it’s raining. I kind of think that’s nice. 😋 Marcel Ravin’s cuisine added his personal touch to each course.
