Exciting Travel Plans, Upcoming NEW Videos & Channel Update!

Good afternoon from the world of theme parks. I wanted to film a video today talking about all of our exciting plans coming up here on Theme Park Worldwide over the next few months. Now, we might be heading into winter and the UK theme park season is slowly fading away into the distance, but you know what? We’ve had a fantastic year throughout 2025. I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you for your continued support. We really do appreciate it. We’ve done so many amazing things this year. So many brilliant trips, lots of different videos, lots of new things as well, and it’s been a really exciting year. So, we’ll have a lot more of that coming up in 2026. I tell you what, this year seems to have flown by so fast as well. I think because we’ve been so busy, we’ve done so many different things. Of course, we got little George with us now as well. It just seems like the past like six months especially has gone by so fast. But as we move into winter, we’re going to carry on the momentum because we got lots of exciting videos coming up, including lots of different theme park trips, both in the UK, checking out Christmas events, but also in mainland Europe, visiting some of our favorite theme parks that open for Christmas, and we’re really excited about that. We love this time of the year, the festive period, and yeah, we’ve got all sorts coming up, not just on this channel, but also over on the Sambrook Adventures as well. So, if you haven’t already, now is a really good time to head over to our second channel. I’ll put a link down below in the video description and that’s where we’re going to be covering a lot of non-the park related Christmas things um like Christmas markets, going to like big stately homes, seeing the Christmas decorations and also decorating at home as well. So that’s all coming up over on our second channel. I tell you what’s really nice though now about the theme park industry. There’s a lot more going on over winter than there used to be. even go back like five or six years, there’s certainly a lot more Christmas events and winter wonderlands that have popped up and lots of different things to keep you entertained over winter here in the UK. I remember very much even not that long ago, it used to kind of feel like a full shutdown of the parks over winter. As soon as Alton Towers, Thor Park, and the other major parks closed for the season, that was it. I mean, a few parks did like a tiny Christmas event or hotel exclusive event where you had to be staying in their hotel and you couldn’t just day trip it. Um, but no, that has changed these past number of years and we started to see a lot more events and like I say, Winter Wonderlands, big Christmas fun fairs and all sorts of different things and even at theme parks in mainland Europe and around the world. We’re starting to see Christmas become even bigger out there at the parks, which I love, especially really enjoying the festive season. I think it’s great that there’s a lot more options now for travel and things to do over the winter period. Now, as much as we love the Christmas season, it’s not all going to be festive videos coming up on the channel over the next couple of months. We’ve got some really exciting travel plans, including I’m going to be heading to a brand new theme park at the end of December. We’ve been waiting for this part for about 5 years, and honestly, I’m really looking forward to it. All the details will be coming up in this video, but I’m sure there’s quite a few of you watching that know what’s coming up already, and honestly, I cannot wait for it. We’ve also got lots of different videos planned that we’re going to be filming here from the studio over winter. Uh, now I know a lot of you love watching reviews and countdown videos, top 10s and all that kind of stuff. Uh, so I really want to crack on and do a lot more of that kind of sitdown detailed content from the studio this winter. I’ll be honest, in the rest of the season, we just don’t have as much time because we like to prioritize getting out there, filming the vlogs, uh, visiting the different parks, bringing you all the latest updates, uh, especially like during the summer months. It’s just nice being out there in the park instead of sitting here in the studio making content all the time. It’s nice getting out there and making the most of the parks and keeping on riding, of course. But no, I’m really looking forward to just getting down this winter, filming a lot more sitdown videos, and we’re actually going to be taking a deep dive into some UK theme park history. I’m going to be doing dedicated videos about some rides that are no longer with us anymore. uh some of the kind of lost rides here in the UK, rides that have never been built, content art that we’ve seen and it might look different than it ended up being. All that kind of stuff I’m going to be covering this winter. So, there’s some real detailed videos that I’ve already started filming that are coming up this winter. I’ve already dedicated quite a bit of time to them and I’m going to be doing a lot more of that over winter, which is going to be great. Now, I have a lot of people asking, are you going to be doing a Planet Coaster 2 series this winter? And I’ll be perfectly transparent with you on this one. I don’t want to kind of uh lead you on thinking that there’s going to be Planet Coaster when there’s probably not. Uh I have no plans at the moment to do any more Planet Coaster videos on the channel. I loved making them. I’ve done various different series over the years, especially with the original Planet Coaster. This time last year, I did a series in Planet Coaster 2 when that came out. Uh but it’s just so time consuming. I’ll be honest, I’ve not even logged on to Planet Coaster for about five or six months. I don’t really play it anymore. And I think the main reason is we’ve got little George now. I want to prioritize taking him out, taking him on different adventures. And when we are at home and I get the chance to be making some other different content instead of more Planet Coaster kind of make believe content. So, I do feel like Planet Coaster has probably come to an end on this channel. Never say never. Um, but yeah, I don’t really plan on making any more Planet Coaster videos at the moment. It’s very time consuming and I’d rather spend that time doing other things and making the most of them. Uh, yeah, we’ve had a good run with Planet Coaster. I love it so much. Uh it’s a great game, but I just don’t have the time to to commit to that anymore. I’d rather use that time more wisely and that’s what we’ve done this year. You know, we’ve been out and done a lot more things and also um this winter want to do some of these other sitdown videos instead. So, hope you understand with that one. I know there might be some people that are a bit disappointed, but I’d rather be perfectly transparent and honest about Planet Coaster than uh me saying that, oh, it might come, it might not. Uh there’s no plans this winter for any Planet Coaster content. I also just like to keep things as fresh and exciting as possible. And yes, we’ve got our favorite theme parks and places that we will return to, but ultimately I want to bring a lot of new things to the channel and also take a bit of a different turn with some of the content. You know, I really want to dive into some more theme park history and you know, I’ve been doing this for a long time now. I want to keep it fresh, keep it exciting, and so yeah, really want to start going more into that route as well. Some more sitdown videos. So, expect a lot more of that content coming up. Of course, mixed in with on POVs as well throughout the year. Basically, we film lots of different 4K on ride POVs. Some of them you may recognize from in the actual main vlogs that we’ve uploaded. Other ones we’ve not shared before. Stuff like rider cam POVs and all that kind of stuff. Um, so yeah, we’ve got all sorts that we planned uh to upload over winter. So, that’ll be kind of mixed in in between the vlogs, these history videos that we’ve got coming up, news updates, and other videos on the channel as well that we’ve got planned. So, yeah, stay tuned for all that coming up. Of course, we are here in the world of theme parks, my lovely theme park collection. I’m sure that you’ve all seen this before in the videos, but I’ve not filmed in here for a little while, actually. So, it’s nice to be back in here, and I’ve been kind of starting to work on these history videos in here, and yeah, just nice sitting in all this theme park history and getting to see it all and appreciate it. There’s going to be some more videos coming up about my theme park collection this winter because I have got a couple of projects on the go, which I’m sure you’ve all seen by now. So, we got the Derby racer horse that is a restoration project that’s currently ongoing. You can see that out there. I actually built this new little cover for it. Got me Christmas lights up as well. But yeah, I built this cover for it and that’s a work in in progress, but it’s coming on really nicely now. Done a bit of fiberglass work. Needs some more um to to be done on there. Got some paint work done on there, but it’s looking really good. And also over on this side, there we go. I’ve got that front car from the ultimate lightwater valley. Uh, that’s now all being pressure washed down. I did all the decking as well because it was looking a bit dirty, wasn’t it? Yeah, pressure washed all that down and that is ready. Um, to continue on sanding. I’ve started sanding down, but we need to continue on sanding down. Got all the old graphics removed there. The ones that weren’t actually, you know, original on there. Just going to put all new ones on there that look very similar to the original. That’s going to be done in like a dark blue, its original color. Uh, thanks to all your comments, by the way, on that video. I really do appreciate it. Um, I had pretty much set my, you know, on doing that color. Um, but no, that’s definitely what I’m going for. We’re going to go as original as we can do with that. Oh, the bookworm looking awesome as always. And this was a brilliant restoration, wasn’t it? If you haven’t already, check out the restoration of the Alton Towers bookworm series cuz that was still one of my favorite videos I’ve done on the channel. And if you enjoyed that style, that’s kind of what I want to be going into, that kind of style of video with these history videos and things that I’m going to be doing as well. We’re going to take a deep dive especially into my home park, the one I’ve grown up with so much. And without this park that this channel probably wouldn’t exist and that is of course Alton Towers. So much Alton Towers history that I’ve got here. And you know I’ve got a lot of knowledge about you know Alton Towers in the past. I worked there for over eight years as well. I’ve got lots of different stories and things that I want to share. Uh just taking a deep dive into Alton Towers, its past, present, and even future as well. So that’s really exciting that that’s all coming up. Now, in terms of our travel plans for the next few months, we’re going to be visiting some of our favorite theme parks in mainland Europe. So, I’ll come on to that in just a moment. But also just wanted to say we got lots of UK things coming up as well. Already started with High Park Winter Wonderland last week. Check out the vlog if you haven’t already. Had a really good time there this year. Uh, a lot better than the past few years in terms of the layout and the overall atmosphere. Had no issues filming this time either, which I had the past couple of years. No, it was really good. So, make sure you check out that vlog. action-packed full of on-ride POVs as well and had a great time. There’s quite a few other like winter wonderland events and things that we’re going to be checking out. Christmas events at the parks. Still got one more visit up to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. We’ve got the construction of a Victus ongoing at the moment that’s just gone vertical the past couple of days. It’s going to be back up there at the weekend and yeah, some of the UK uh bits over the next couple of weeks as well. That’s what I mean. The season doesn’t fully end now at the start of November. Blackpool stay open throughout November on the weekends and there’s all sorts of other parks that have got rides open for Christmas. I mean, look at Drayton Mana. Pretty much a full ride offering on selected days for their Christmas event. Uh, same down at Cheston. You got a few bigger rides open and yeah, across the parks. It’s good. It’s like Alton Towers this year. Might not have Spinball Wizard open, but you’ve got Hex open and also the Curse of Alton Manor that I’ve heard is having a bit of a festive overlay. So, I’m excited for that. Um, so no, you know, it’s one of them things, isn’t it? It’s always good like having these different options here in the UK. There’s so much out there to see and we’re going to be covering them here on the channel. Uh now along with that, of course, we’re going to be back at some of our favorite parks in Europe. Uh I’m really excited about this. We’re going to be at Europa Park for the first time in a year. Can’t believe we haven’t been back since last Christmas, but we wanted a little bit of a break from Europa Park. Again, we filmed so many videos from there on the channel. Like to keep things fresh and exciting, but also return to our favorites. But what’s going to be great about Europa Park this time is that it’s the 50th anniversary still. We’ve not seen any of the 50th stuff. We’ve not done the new Edinetta Grand Prix ride, so it be the first time getting on that. I know it’s had mixed reviews, but literally a few days ago, they’ve added a new Ed animatronic. So, that’ll be cool to see and give that a go. And yeah, just experiencing the park at Christmas. I love it there. Winter, all the big rides are open as well. And what’s exciting is we’re taking my mom and dad to Europa Park for the first time. So, that’s going to be really nice. So, they’re going to come and join us for that trip. Nice family trip with George, Charlotte, mom and dad. And that is going to be really special. So, stay tuned for that uh coming up. Uh now, I know a lot of you enjoy seeing our Butlings videos on the channel. always put them here on theme park worldwide. You’ve got the rides, you got the funf fair, and just I think the general atmosphere of that still really fits with this channel. Uh things like center parks and stuff, you know, we keep them over on the Sandre Adventures. We’ve just got a new center park series that started over on that channel, so check that out if you haven’t already. That’s what I mean across both channels. There’s so much going on at the moment. Uh even though we’re in winter, like we certainly keep busy, lots happening. Um but yeah, you know, we’re going to be back at Butland at the start of December. Uh so that is very exciting as well. We’re going to be out at Eftilling for the first time in about a year and a half. This will be great because last time we went, Charlotte couldn’t ride Dance Macccabra because obviously she was pregnant at the time. So, it’ll be the first time going on that. But what I’m really, really excited for is we’re going to be staying in their brand new hotel. Uh, it looks absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to stay there and yeah, it looks gorgeous. So, we’re going to be staying at the Eftelling Grand Hotel looking out over the park, taking it all in. Uh, I’ve booked like a a room in one of the turrets, so that’ll be nice. looks out towards the entrance and the lake. Um, so that is going to be beautiful. We’ll take you along for a full tour and of course back at Fton. Lots of onride POVs. Same in Europa Park as well. Lots of POVs. Uh, which will be great to share with you all. Uh, along with that in December, we’re going to be back at Disneyland Paris. We’re annual passholders now. Uh, so we wanted to go for as many seasons as we can do. We did summer, we did Halloween, we’re back for Christmas. We’re going to be staying at Hotel Cheyenne. So, we’ll take you for a tour of the Wild West themed Hotel that they’ve got there. And that should be really nice. Looking forward to that. Christmas at Disneyland Paris is always really special. They do a great job with all the decorations and everything. Uh so that is going to be coming up on the channel and again lots of POVs and just capturing the atmosphere of that. We should literally next week be hearing details on when the new expansion is going to open of Disney Adventure World and the World of Frozen area. So that’s exciting. So of course we’ll keep you updated on that here on the channel as well. Now something that I am very excited for. This has been like over 5 years in the making. Major constructions really kicked off in 2021 and it’s just wrapping up right now. This is the brand new theme park in Saudi Arabia, Six Flags Kadir City. And I’ve been following this project all the way through. Who remembers that original video? I did like a bit of a a talk about it, didn’t you, a few years ago, saying, “Is this thing actually going to get built?” Falcon’s Flight, the tallest, fastest, longest coaster anywhere in the world. It drops down off a cliff. It’s got this massive top hat. It looks absolutely ridiculous, this ride. It’s opening on the 31st of December this year and I’m going to be there for the opening day, which is very exciting. Gonna be there for a few days, taking it all in, filming lots of videos, and just capturing the atmosphere of this brand new theme park opening as well. So, I’m really looking forward to that. Uh, now, of course, we’ve been following this project for some time, and Falcon’s Flight is the ride that, you know, everybody knows about it. Everybody knows that ride’s coming. Uh, but there’s actually a lot of other rides at that park. In fact, in total, there’s 28 rides there, including eight roller coasters. You got the world’s tallest drop tower there, tallest inversion on a ride, there’s a tilt coaster, so many more awesome attractions. So, as much as Falcon’s Flight is still like the main big draw for that park for me and for many others, um there’s lots of other things to experience there. All the theming and everything as well looks great. I know it’s always a bit risky kind of going for the opening of a new park because you don’t know if everything’s going to be ready. Uh before booking, did contact the park and say, you know, is everything planned to be open? Obviously, things can go down, can’t they? But, uh, everything is planned as it stands to be open for the opening day, including Falcon’s Flight, of course. So, I’m really looking forward to heading out there and, yeah, being one of the first people to experience this brand new park. I know quite a few other people that are going out there as well. So, that’s going to be really nice, kind of traveling out there with them and experiencing it all. And just wanted to say, you know, always stay away kind of from politics on the channel. I know it’s one of them things um that a lot of people are thinking, oh, you know, would you want to travel there, would you not? Um, for me, I’ve made the decision to go. Charlotte and George aren’t going to be coming with me. I’m just going to be traveling uh well on my own with the channel here. Of course, got some people who I know who are heading out there as well. Um but yeah, it’s one of them things, isn’t it? We travel to theme parks and attractions all the way around the world and we don’t let politics get in the way of where we travel to. So, uh if you want to watch that content and enjoy it, it is going to be coming up here on the channel. If you don’t want to see it, then that’s absolutely fine as well. But, uh yeah, I’m really looking forward to it. No matter where it is, we’ll always travel to these destinations around the world. We’ve traveled literally everywhere all the way across Europe, America, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, uh, China, Japan, South Korea. We’ve been to so many different countries now. Never been to Saudi Arabia, but this park is certainly got me excited. I can’t wait to go there. No matter where this park will be opening, I was going to be there going to experience it. So, I can’t wait for it. Falcon’s Flight, all the other rides, and lots of content coming up here on the channel. I just love seeing brand new theme parks as well, and especially experiencing them on their opening day. And yeah, it’s one of them sometimes things don’t go to plan with an opening day and rides might not open, but fingers crossed everything’s scheduled to be. So, we should be okay for that one. But no matter what, it’s going to be a really good atmosphere. And yeah, Falcon’s Flight, it just looks incredible. I’m really excited for that coaster. You know me, I’ve loved these big boy rides. Uh things like Topfield Dragster, you know, the original version, Top Thrill 2, now King Car, Formula Rosser. Yeah, I just love these big coasters. Uh, so this ride has got me very excited from the start. I know this type of character isn’t really for everyone. Um, but I just love like these big rides. Um, you know, just smashing the records. And we’re not just talking beating things by a little bit here. You know, they have literally smashed the record. Um, all three records like tallest, fastest, longest by a considerable amount, which is very, very exciting. But yeah, in terms of other things coming up, of course, lots of unique videos on the channel, all our different vlogs, POVs, and more just general updates coming up. And like I said earlier on, if you haven’t already, make sure you do head over to the Sambrook Adventures, our second channel, because we got all sorts coming up on there. There’s a new video every few days on that channel as well. Um, so yeah, lots of festive content to get you in the mood.
