CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS IN KUALA LUMPUR ARE INSANE! RELOCATE TO MALAYSIA | SOUTH EAST ASIA

Wow, it’s nice to be standing under that fan here at one of the many stations here in Petaling Jaya. I’m going to go into Koala Lumpur. And today I’m going to be showing you guys more Christmas decor since the pavilion book at Bentang vlog last week with John and Yvon was such a hit. I’m going to be showing you guys more at a different mall at a different pavilion. Right. So, we’re obviously standing on the platform here waiting for the train and here it comes. Check it out. Heat. Heat. [Music] Oh, we can already see some Christmas stuff there. Christmas. So, I’m here at Pavilion Damsara Heights and wow, I can already see a bunch of uh Christmy looking things and a big bunny right there. Yeah, look at this Santa Claus up there. Amazing. Let’s see what this mall has to offer. Look at this, guys. It’s a Christmas tree. It’s a Christmas tree. You can call it a Christmas tree here in Malaysia and you will not get arrested, unlike in the UK. Look, you’ve got a Christmas tree with a Hot Wheels monster truck and an Easter bunny, right? Where else can you find this? Guys, Malaysia is better at celebrating Christian holidays than the UK. I am blown away. Every mall here has like a a big main part where they really go all out with the decorations. So, let’s go there. That even says here, Christmas in bloom, November, December 2025. Look how nice this little setup is here. You got the little girl over there playing with the teddy bears. Look at all the Christmas presents, the lights. It is so nice. [Music] Look at this. Wow. This is amazing. [Music] Absolutely beautiful. Look at this white Christmas tree with the gold. [Music] Got the main stage here. This is where Santa Claus is going to be. [Music] telling you guys, they go all out with the Christmas decor here in Malaysia. It’s fantastic. Check out this. This is the main entrance right here. Look at the beautiful big reindeer. All the gold and green and red. The colors of Christmas. Yes, we come out into the humid heat. But there’s more. Look at this. [Music] Let’s go in. Look at this. This is what you’re greeted with here at Pavilion Damsara Heights. Amazing Christmas decor. Look at that. You got the Coach store. This is worth checking out. I love Coach, actually. So, going to check this place out. Look at this beautiful Christmas tree. Christmas tree with a dinosaur. Look at the gingerbread man. No, no, no. Not the buttons. Yes. Christmas here in Malaysia comes with a Christmas Tyrannosaurus Rex. [Music] Beautiful setup here. Like, I’m just so blown away, so impressed just how much effort and money they put into the Christmas decor here in Malaysia. And you know what? Malaysia might not be on your bucket list of countries to visit, but it really should be, right? And a lot of people Wow. Look at this. Look at this, guys. Amazing. This is a predominantly Islamic country, right? But people, there’s so many people that live here of all different ethnicities and backgrounds. And they all love to enjoy the festive times of the year, whether that be Haraya, uh, Deepali, uh, Chinese New Year, and of course, late December, December 25th, of course, we have Christmas Day, and, uh, it’s the middle of November, and they already have all the decor set up. It’s just absolutely spectacular. It’s for everyone as well. To all the Malaysians watching, please let me know in the comments what you think about the Christmas decor and if you like to go around and enjoy it and see it for yourself. These Christmas trees are absolutely amazing. Right. [Music] What I’m going to do, going to go on the stage and I’m going to thank Malaysia for all of the effort and money that they invest into putting up all of these amazing Christmas decorations. Malaysia, my name is Daryl and I’d like to thank you for putting up all of these amazing Christmas decorations. Merry Christmas. No one was actually listening, but you guys can listen in this vlog. So, there you go. And you see the word Christmas everywhere here in Malaysia. It actually says in text Christmas right in this amazing country that again I’ll say is predominantly Islamic and you have you have the UK which is supposed to be Christian anyway and they’re starting to remove the word Christmas all over the place. Makes no sense. We’re going to head up to the top floor of this amazing mall and see what it has to offer and see if we can find any more Christmas decor. Whoa, we’ve got more around here. It’s quite dark now because uh skylight. I can see it’s raining. Check out these nice lights. Here we have more Christmas decor. Oh, this is where Santa’s going to be. Is it? Or we’ve got Santa’s post box. There we go. There’s the word Christmas right there. And they’ve scored out poster to post. Okay. All right. Now, look, there’s the word Christmas. Yes. Jalan. Jalan. Check out this beautiful bit of decor here by Hija Landscape. Keep growing. got this uh you know native to Malaysia tropical foliage here mixed with the Christmas decor and Christmas colors. Stunning. It’s absolutely stunning. This is Oh yeah. Wow. Guys, I absolutely love this time of year in Southeast Asia. See guys, just reflecting on Christmas now. You know, growing up in the ‘9s when I was a child, like my parents provided my brother and sisters and I with such amazing Christmases. We always got what we what we wanted. There was always plenty food. We had such amazing times every year when I was growing up. And it was always a white Christmas as well back in Edinburgh, Scotland. Uh not so much now. It’s always a a wet Christmas. Global warming is a real thing. Like climate change, like I’ve seen the effect of climate change in Scotland and yeah, it’s a very wet winter now. Uh we do get a little bit of snow and ice, but nowhere near as much as we used to get. But, you know, as I sit here just looking at some of this Christmas decor, I’m just feeling so grateful uh for the amazing Christmases that my parents provided me and my sisters and brother with when we were kids. We always got what we wanted. We had amazing food, amazing times. The whole family got together. The, you know, all the relatives, we all seen each other. It’s just absolutely amazing. And I just feel so just so fortunate to have such amazing Christmases when I was younger. And now as an adult, I don’t have kids or anything. So, but I still enjoy Christmas. And living out here in Southeast Asia where it’s just always warm and seeing all the beautiful Christmas decorations in this warm tropical climate is, yeah, it’s a little bit bizarre. Um, but it’s amazing. You know, I absolutely love this time of year, especially on this side of the world. Absolutely stunning here at Pavilion Damsara Heights. You got to come here. Check this place out, guys. Even without the Christmas decor, this is still such an amazing mall to come to. And it’s never really busy this mall as well. So, you know, you’re going to have a great time here. You’re going to be comfortable. And yeah, you’re going to really love uh the vibe and everything that Malaysia has to offer. So, subscribe to the channel, comment, like this video, and I’ll see you in the next one. Bit of bonus content for you. M&S food. We’re going to check out what M&S food in Malaysia has to offer. What are the prices as well? Check this out. Shortbread. Yeah, Scottish shortbread. And it’s even baked in Edinburgh. Yeah. Got the Oh, got the gold coins as well. Yeah, pretty much anything that you can get in the UK in M&S in the UK. You can get it here in Malaysia. But let’s see what the prices are like. Check this out. Chocolate brownie bites. Uh $34.90. So that’s about 7 quid at least. Yeah, 7 quid for this. Quite expensive. Yeah, it’s going to be more expensive here in Malaysia if you’re going to be going to M&S. This coffee, I used to get the exact same one at M ands in Edinburgh and it was about four quid and here it’s like seven over seven quid. That’s crazy. Yeah. Tea as well. You know how what you know how much this is in M&S in the UK? Well, last time I was there last year, I got this. 99. That’s how much it cost. Uh here. Yeah, it’s going to cost you more than two pound. So, yeah, everything here is pretty much double the price. There’s some more Scottish shortbread. Um yeah, uh about Β£350 or something for this. Wow. 3. Malls have a competition among themselves to be the one who puts up the best festive decorations for each celebrations so you can definitely make several trips around time to compare them. Pavilion KL usually has the best ones but this year KLCC Suria suppose to try to top them πŸ˜›

  4. MARRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY 2026
