MOST AMAZING Snowboard Run in Avoriaz, France (360 VR)
Welcome to another video in Avaras, France at,800 meters. I’m totally alone here. So, let’s enjoy this full ride. Before I let you enjoy the full ride, maybe give you some idea why there’s no one here. Because actually, there were a lot of people in the resort. But I took one of the later or even the last lift, very high lift up this mountain. This is like a 15 to 20 minute maybe a bit shorter lift that you take up around 3,000 meter and then obviously you have a full ride down which you will enjoy here in a bit. But yeah, if you do take it quite late in the evening, there’s not a lot of people who want to take that time. Plus, if you don’t really like these type of runs where you have to take a long lift and only maybe 15 or 20 minutes, you will go down and maybe it’s even a challenging ride because it was quite challenging and as you can see, I go a bit off piece because I go along a few of these rocks. So, obviously, it’s it’s a bit challenging, but I do enjoy it and I hope you also enjoy it. Here you can see that I jumped over a rock. Obviously, this is a bit off the route. And you can also see that there’s not a lot of snow. So, I think even there was a lot of wind that day. So, maybe the lift was closed. I don’t actually remember, but I think the lift was closed for a couple of hours during the day. But you will see along this video that I also have a few other rides down to the Avaras main valley, which is actually amazing. Right. So, one of my favorite places here is Aaras in France. It’s very, very beautiful. If you go there, you have to put your car into a parking lot and then you will be brought up to the village actually with a carriage or some kind of snowmobile and you don’t need to use your car because it’s fully fully carless and that’s quite unique. You don’t have a lot of these villages which are fully um carless. So very nice. Also this run here was very nice. A bit later in the day and you will see that I stay to the left side. This is something I noticed that a lot of snowboarders, they try to stick to either the left or the right side and don’t really take full carving turns because it’s quite difficult to do as a snowboarder and not be annoyed by people snowboarding or skiing in your way. But it also means that if some skier or snowboarder is trying to learn on the side, you have to avoid them. So, it’s always better and busy um on the different sides, but you need to um avoid going too close to people. Anyway, this is a very very nice run ahead in Avaria. And you will see a bit later that I actually go down to the to the yeah main village in the last time of the day. It’s a beautiful sunset which I really enjoy. But I would definitely recommend and maybe I should make a video about my favorite resorts in Europe and France. I did I did a lot of resorts in France obviously because those are the biggest resorts we have in the Alps. So that was very nice to see. And you see there’s also people doing all types of activities like here you can see people are enjoying their time with the paragliding with the skis. This is for sure something I want to do more and learn more as paragliding. I did some lessons before and I did some paragliding in in the Alps actually with a teacher but I do want to do it alone. Now here you can see already a bit of a sneak peek of the village itself. As a quick thing you would know and notice is that a lot of the hotels look like mountains because they’re actually built to be look or looking like a lot of the mountains. So that’s a nice architectural inside. And you can see here people will be hiking up this mountain. It’s already quite light late in the day. People are just relaxing. You can take a beautiful picture from the top. You’re allowed to hike up this mountain and see the whole valley from from the top. And people are taking their dog and so on. And here you will see that I will end up at the front of my hotel, which is truly amazing, of course. But anyway, I hope you enjoyed the video and I will see you in the next one. Bye-bye.
