Never Fails How Beautiful South Africa Is! – American Reacts to Kino Yves
All right, I’m back to see the beauty of South Africa. We’re back with Eve and uh he’s in Simon Town, Simon’s Town, South Africa. And this one is titled uh the beauty of South Africa. After watching the spring box play this uh weekend, man, it’s Yeah, it’s the real beauty of South Africa. Um all right, so we’re going to check this one out. But after watching the spring box play and how much of a battle and just bruises, cuts, just the intensity of that, we’re going to take it over and we’re going to watch some beauty. You know what? Get a little contrast in us. Also, um Malcolm Marx winning, what was that? Uh player of the year. Um that was crazy. I don’t know if it was called player of the year. What was what was it actually called? It was not man of the match. What the heck is it called? Oh my goodness. World rugby. Yeah. Player uh of the year. That was insane. Um I didn’t record it, but I did watch when they told them about it and stuff and that was that was awesome, man. Uh the group of guys in there in the locker room celebrating with them. Good times. But anyways, if you guys like this type of content, make sure to let me know in the comments and also by hitting that like button. Um if you’re new here, welcome. I appreciate you stopping by. If you like the content, hit that subscribe button. come along on my journey. All right. Well, let’s get into this and see what Eves is going to check out here. All right. This scene I’m already seeing looks pretty amazing. So, let’s see where it goes from here. Simon’s Town. I’m so excited. I’m standing up to some starfish. He just like came up. Oh, he looks so different. I don’t know why he looks so different there. I didn’t recognize him at first. Oh jeez, man. That is beautiful. Guys, look how blue does the sky really get that blue. This is the way to Hermanus Falls Bay. Simon’s seen that one in the Cape. I think it’s the Cape Peninsula. It’s literally paradise on earth. Oh, I should have looked this up. But Simon’s Town, um, False Bay is right there. So, he’s got to be close to Cape Town, right? Then I I didn’t see where this is at on the map. So, obviously, he’s on the coast. You can see a few a few morning penguins there. Ah, the penguins. Yeah. Yeah. He’s he’s definitely Cape Town’s right in there, isn’t it? Or is he is he even in where it’s considered Cape Town? Maybe. Penguins again. The penguins. Wow. So, I finally got my bike service here in in Simon’s Town. Look at how clean it is. I was just about to say that. The tires look brand new. It looks like it’s going to say I was like, damn. All the bike riding he’s been doing. How does that bike look so good? He just got it serviced, I guess. Oh, the dogs. The dog alarm. Yes, the dogs are very convenient. Very convenient. I’m glad that you were happy. Yeah, it was very good. Yeah. Yeah, it was perfect. Yeah, it was perfect. Yeah, they really I mean the area is very nice. Good. It’s very pleasing downtown some rest. Yes. Yes, it was perfect. So, where are you off to now? Uh I’m not going far. I’m going to some place in Musenberg. Okay. And then I’ll go to Hermanus. But tomorrow Hermanus. Okay, that’s good. Thank you very much. Have a safe. Bye-bye. Yes. Wow, man. So, today we’re not going far. We going just 20 km away to Musenburg to some friends place and tomorrow we will go to Hermanus. Let’s go, guys. Isn’t that like a Spanish name or monos? Oh, golfers. Wow, man. What a view, though. The temperatures, man. It seems like it’d be kind of hot, though. Maybe not with that breeze coming off the ocean and everything. But that’s just spectacular. I don’t know if it’s the filter on the camera or what or if it’s my monitor, but the the the blue in the sky in that ocean is just insanity. I mean, the ocean is bluer than the sky. It’s life. Oh. Oh. Ah, the bike shop. I wonder if that’s where he got his done. And here is the lovely city center of Simon Stone. Okie. Wa. Oh, damn. We almost got hit by that guy open his door. How are you? I’ve been watching your channel nonstop. Oh, really? Yeah. I started from the very beginning. Okay. Yeah. To see that first shot of you. Is that your family? Yeah, it’s my grandmother and some of her some of the neighbors of the You look so happy going down. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s only the beginning. That’s the very beginning 3 years and a half ago. Yeah. But I love the content. I love the the you went into those graveyards there and you’re the beginning. Yeah. With the first world war. Yeah. It’s a region that was very impacted by first world war. Yeah. And just seeing your face then and even seeing your face now. You amazing how it’s changed. E. Yes. Yes. I I mean you change a lot. This is the kind of journey that changes changes you a lot. Yeah. Yeah. I know. Amazing. It’s good to see where you up to now. Uh just Menburg. Okay. I got to stay with some friends. Okay. And uh yeah, tomorrow I go to Herman’s. Okay. Awesome. Thank you very much for the to meet you. For the bike looks all It looks all new. The tricycle is fantastic. Yeah, I know. I’m glad. I’m glad. Oh, so he did his bike. All right. Cool. Thank you very much. Take care. Byebye. Byebye. Morning. Morning. So, this was the the guy of the shop who whom you saw in the the previous video. I did service my my trike. He did a fantastic job. Well, his uh worker did a fantastic job. The shop is called Simon Stone Cycles. Simon Town Cycles. Great great people. I’m glad I met him actually because in Cape Town it was hard to get it service. They they were it was very western like the people were Oh, so he already came out of Cape Town. See, I haven’t been going step by step. Um I wanted to see on this one. The reason I picked this one is cuz I wanted to see more of the beauty. I love seeing stuff that’s not touristy as well, but I also want to see the the beauty side of it. Um, I I’m going to watch it all, but I just don’t know how much you guys want to watch me watch, if that makes any sense, because some of it I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s something that you guys would be interested in or not, but I like that behind the scenes interaction um type stuff as well. But I don’t I don’t know. You guys let me know. They say, “No, we cannot do it. We don’t do these kind of bicycles, man. Man, that’d be so scary so close to the cars. Still gets me the contrast of the white houses and the mountains behind it. Welcome, Glenn. And that’s quite funny. There is a train station on the beach. A train station? I saw you. You saw me on Tik Tok. Where can I stop? I follow you on Tik Tok. How are you? Good. Good. Good. Jesus Christ. Where you from now? Wa sound. I was in Cape Town before. Yeah, I was in Coint before. Ke, I follow you on Tik Tok. Always watch your videos. Awesome. That’s great. How long? It’s been 3 years and a half. Wow. Wow. I knew I got to meet you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You’re lucky. Great, man. When are you going back to your country? Huh? When you going back to your country? Oh, after some after many years. Many years. Yes. Wow. I’m going to go by West Africa. It was great to see you. Push me there. Awesome. You push me. I want to see you. Take off. Wow. What’s your name? Yeah. Nice to meet you. Thank you, man. Awesome. Good luck, man. Me, too. He’s just out for a run. Bye-bye. Hello. Man, it just seems like such a chill town. just relaxed. Uh here in the US call it a small town vibes. Um yeah, it just seems so nice. Just, you know, you’re on your own time. Just do your own thing. A lot of traffic it looks like though in town. Hope I’m not yelling at you here. Go back. Wait a minute. Was that a church? Old buildings. It looks like old style. Anyways, yeah, it’s an old church. See the cross up on top. Man, I wonder what year that was built. It looks awesome. And here we arrive in Musenber, guys. Wow, it’s full of surfers. It’s funny. They look like penguins in the water. Surfer spotted. Well, Man, I always want to say is that Diamond’s head? So, it’s like lion’s head, isn’t it? Off in the distance, I think. I wonder how many miles he could travel a day. I’ve seen you. Yeah, I’ve seen you. Ah, he’s pulling over. Big man. Yeah. Yeah, it’s okay. Big man, how are you? Very good. How are you? Good. Good. Good. Very good. Bicycle. So, which side are you heading now? I’m heading to some friends in the area not far from here. Okay. Okay. Then I’m heading to Herman and Okay. Okay. Cool. Okay. But I’m not going to cycle this false Bay. Okay. Okay. you. But it’s nice seeing you, man. I only see you on TikTok, but it’s good. You’re in the southern most part down. But you must be safe actually. So, you’re going straight down and then you’re going to hit the right. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. That’s perfect. All of the best. God bless you, man. God bless you. Thank you. That is so cool that he’s like letting them know. I mean, just like any country in any city, you’re going to have some bad areas. You’re going to have some bad apples. You know what I mean? you know, not everybody in the world are nice. It’s just a matter of facts, you know. Um, that’s cool that he’s like, you know, be safe. He’s checking to see where he’s going, making sure he’s not, you know, going where he might not want to go. That’s awesome. Wait, you wait by December. Awesome. That was a Christmas gift, I guess. So this last year, so I’m almost at my friend’s place, but I have to be careful because there are no That’s why he asked where I’m going. There’s some uh dangerous areas not very far here. And I’m not going to cycle Falls Bay. I’m going to be transported by my friends from um from here to Strand to avoid cycling next to Kaicha. So you guys are going to have to tell me something about that. So, is False Bay not a good area to go to or something? Um, interesting. Which is the worst uh well, the most the most dangerous neighborhood in Cape Town. That’s just like here. You don’t want to go to North Minneapolis. Hello. It’s okay. Like, next time. Hello. Hello. How are you? Hey, good. Good. How are you? So, I cannot go this way. I go this way. Hello. How are you? Hello. Hello. Good. Good. Good. So, this way you cannot go and on this road actually. So that’s kind of the limit between I think Hello. Hello between not so safe and and much safer I think cuz apparently on this road where I am now sometimes during the the bad period the gang wars reach this road and you have gang shots. Gang wars. What are the gangs that are there in South Africa here? All the best. Thank you very much. See you too. And where’s the final place for you? I’m going to lag Cape Lul. Oh, okay. The end of Africa. Yeah. Hello. Hello. Hello. So many people know like this when you go to poorer neighborhoods. Hello. Hello. Then people become friendlier and friend. Hello. But sadly it comes here in South Africa it comes with some extra danger as well. Now I’m back in wealthier place. Hello. You know I don’t know if it’s everybody knows who he is or just really friendly people. I can kind of crazy. I mean you just go two roads behind there. It’s it’s it could be dangerous sometimes. There is gang wars. Oh man. And just on the other side of the road you are in a fancy neighborhood. Wow. Some pink flowers, man. Hello. Check this one out, man. How are you? I’m very well in yourself, man. Very good. Good to see you. Very good to see you again. Yes, I was. Yeah. Yeah. I am. I guess he was here. So, I was Yeah. Tell you go inside. Yeah. There is no rush. Very good. Oh, the peninsula is beautiful. Beautiful here. Oh my god, it’s Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The I stayed a bit in Ki also. Oh, did you? Yeah. Really? Yeah. I I don’t know. A random He’s just walking around with no shoes on. Come on. Yes. All right. Cool. Yeah. This is it. Cool. Thank you very much. I forgot them. anywhere. Wow, he’s got a lot of dogs. Can I show you in about a dog myself? Wow, what a community. I think I No, this ain’t it. This can’t be the one when we watched um the real estate one. This isn’t one of those areas. It reminds me of one of them. I don’t know if it is or not, but look at this guy kaying down here. The houses go right down to the water. What a beautiful place. Wow. Oh man, what was that machine? I wonder if that thing like cleans the um what is that film or the that green algae and stuff maybe off the top of the water kind of keeps it cleared out. Is that what that machine is? Or kind of looks like farm equipment. It’s out there on a leisurely paddle. Wow, those clouds look pretty ominous though, don’t they? Oh, damn. That is like something out of a movie. Like you would think it was CGI or some AI now. They had to have done some some color grading on this thing. Oh, all right. Gloomy, rainy. Is that where the the storm that was coming in? Morning my friends. And I’m already in Strand actually. Oh jeez. You already brought him over. Hello. Huh? Welcome. Where? Sorry. Where are you going? Uh today to Herman. I thought he said welcome to England. Listen. Hello. What? Sorry. Where are you going? Uh today to Herman. Is it with the bike? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yes, I’m fit. Thank you. Thank you very much, Sydney. Good luck to you. Thank you. Bye. Bye. So, Sydney dropped me back. Dropped me here. So I could pass Kayalicha. Sorry, it was very early morning. So I I Yeah. Oh my god. I’m out of Cape Town. Let’s go to today. 90 km. We’re not lucky. It’s very cloudy. That was all Cape Town. 90 km to Hermanus. Simon’s town. Is that like a neighborhood or something or Damn, that is a cool ass. Fancy fancy strong. Hello. And we’re going straight into the rain. Wow. I’m going to Herman today. Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay. Wow. In the rain and everything. Now, I drive past it and I saw you. Okay. What is your handle on Tik Tok? Kilo Eve. K I N O space Y V E S. Oh, okay. Perfect. I’ll take you in in perfect. Have a good time. Thank you very much. Yeah. Okay. Byebye. Bye, dude. He’s so much when he goes into these places, man. I’ll bet like so much time with people stopping and wanting to get pictures and video and stuff like that of him. What a nice guy, though. Wow. His house is right up on the hillside. Even when it’s cloudy like that, it still looks like an amazing place. It doesn’t need all the sun. Way coast route. Yeah, the weather is clearing up. Look at the mountains, guys. Let’s go have a look at the view. Coffee on the go here. We can see quite well Musenberg there in the distance. Wow. I’d be scared on those freaking roads, man. The rain picked back up. This is actually so beautiful in the rain as well. So, we’re supposed to see on the other side the Cape Peninsula, but uh yeah, it’s in the clouds, but I can see a bit of blue sky straight ahead. Looks like it’s clearing up maybe. Looks like clear skies out over the ocean though. He is just going uphill. Holy crap. The amount of calories he’s got to burn a day. They have a rock slide or something. No. Clearing the roads. Oh, they’re installing something. Wow, it’s beautiful. Oh my god, the weather is cleaning up. Fantastic. Wow. Incredible. Look at that, guys. And if you can see in front, I can see K point. I can’t see it. Hello. Scenic coffee. Another little coffee trailer. Hello. I have a sample. Can I sit? Uh, they’re looking at him like, “What the hell?” He’s going to come, but he’s going to be taking a long time to come. Thank you. It’s going to be a long time cuz he’s on a bike. Wow. Calling butt. What a trip on the coast, man. With a bike. That is beautiful. So much greenery. So this is the magnificent Clarence Drive, guys. Doing a lot of construction. And these waters are full of whales and white sharks. Oh, the great whites. You ain’t getting me in there. Even though it looks so beautiful. Wow. Man, you know what? Like with this type of stuff here, I mean, perfect stop right here. The contrast with the ocean and the mountains and the ruggedness like this. I never would have thought of if you showed me those photos like this and then the ocean and stuff like that and asked me where was this at. Never would have said Africa. Oh man, that thing looked like it was just shoved right up out of the ground. What a cool little community there. Wonder what that is down there. If that’s somebody’s property. like right down there. I don’t know if that’s somebody’s property or if that’s like a business or something like that, but man, that’d be cool. Live down something like that. I mean, just houses just look at that out all by itself way out here. Wow. Big old valley. Huh? Where you go? Where is today? Yeah. Yes. He’s a courier. Let’s go to Betty’s Bay to see the colony of penguins that they have here. They’re penguins. So, are they are the penguins all the way around the coast? I mean, I thought they were in like one spot kind of right there by Cape Town. Well, this place looks like another small paradise. I mean, everywhere looks like a small paradise. One big paradise. Slow down for the penguins. Wow. They’re just everywhere, huh? So, there is a restaurant, but they’re not going to eat here. Oh my god, the view. Look at this view, guys. Oh my god. Wow. It’s fantastic. So I guess by behind there is the Bay of Hermanus. There are a lot of penguins here actually. Oh wow. Organized place where you have to pay to see them is there. Many of them are here. Some of them are here in the bush actually. Wow. That is so cool. Yeah, look at this place, guys. Damn. You can just hear them all. Oh, they’re done. They’re done. Ah, I didn’t know that was the end. What a beautiful freaking sight, man. All the whole area and stuff, it just looks so I don’t know what the word is for it. like relaxing and not stressful. You know what I mean? It just I don’t know. I don’t know if I have a word for it. It’s just amazing. I appreciate you guys stopping by. Hope you’re enjoying the content. This is definitely going on my bucket list, but you know, not in the anytime foreseeable future, but anyways, I’ll make my way there someday. You guys have a wonderful evening. I appreciate you and hope you guys have a good day. We’ll see you later.

Bro I watch all his stuff and I'd gladly watch you watch it again lol
It is the same suburb from the estate vlogger you commented on.
I'm so glad to see Americans that do not take Trump clownery serious, South Africa is the best country in the world, the people in the ground will tell you exactly how the people in this country us not the media
Everything with False Bay is fine. The eastern part of the city ie. Cape flats / Khayalitsha are the getthos and to be avoided.
Simon's Town is our naval base. You need to visit. And there isn't a filter, that sky and sea is exactly as it is on the video
Hey bud, you must watch his Garden Route videos, we moving there next week from Cape Town, lived here in Cape Town, Bloubergstrand for 40 years but finally moving to paradise…. the Garden Route.
You're right, this is one of the neighborhoods from a video you watched before. It's called Marina da Gama and it's next to Muizenberg, about 30 minutes from Cape Town CBD. It's a series of waterways coming from Muizenberg beach and islands with lots of wildlife. All the houses have to be painted white and follow architecture guidelines that make the whole area feel like a Greek seaside village. It's gorgeous, especially if you like seeing interesting wildlife and natural views. There's an island you can hike on where you can see small buck and otters if you're lucky, and there are owls and hawks. Yes people do kayak all the time but the signature vehicle is a two person pedalo π It's a whole vibe π
One of the most prominent gangs on the Cape Flats is known as the Americans, a name given to them by others because of their original banner's resemblance to the USA flag: 7 red stripes and 6 white stripes (but without the blue section with the stars). With time it completly replaced the gang's real name, which was The Atsas.
The reason for the 7 red stripes and 6 white stripes has to do with their origin. It's founding members were from 2 of the most powerful criminal fraternities in the South African prison system, the 26s and the 27s (aka the 6s and 7s). The 6s' flag is white and the 7s' flag red, so that's why the gang's banner is designed the way it is.
Happiest guy on the planet, happily watch twice
I remember a while back that Cape Town had the 3rd bluest sky in the world.
Hermanus. Thats where l live
Many Americans don't get to experience the beauty of Southern African people, we tend to dislike and shy away from arrogant loud, overly opinionated people, which yanks have in spades. Learn to take in the vibe instead of trying to create one.
βIs the sky really that blue?β Yes it is. The quality of the light here is different.
Why do you keep stopping the video, let yves talk
watch all his stuff from cape town on its interesting
People will hoot if they see someone doing something different and fun, whether they know someone or not, but many people clearly know him. No colour grading done. South Africa has beautiful skies.
He said "Waar gaan jy heen?", not "welcome to England".
He is currently traveling in the Western Cape, which is by far the best run province in South Africa. Clean and well-maintained roads, thriving little towns etc. Unfortunately many of the other provinces, run by the ANC have= been allowed to fall into decay with little maintenance. In general, the main roads throughout South Africa are in good condition though.
The train ride in SimonsTown and the beach is lovely. its our Navy town – you will get to see many of our Navy side of the army here.
"Waar gaan jy heen?" Where are you going?
You are more than welcome to visit usβ€ Will take you to Kruger National Park, and you can stay for free and have a braai on us π
Come see us asapππΏπ¦
Just discovered your channel. I'm a rugby fan and I follow Yvesπ I'm a South African through and throughπ I enjoy your demeanour and so I've subbed.
"waar Gaan jy heen" means "where are you going to" Afrikaans
This is about a two hours drive from my house, seeing you react to it makes me realize how much I take this place for granted. I drive past it at least every Christmas to go to my family's house
False bay is not a problem by itself, but Kaylitsha is. Gangsters, drugs and general lawlessness. He will stand a good chance of getting robbed at least … or get through with just a lot of people wanting to talk as normal. But it is GOOD advice for all foreigners visiting South Africa, especially on their own without local friends or connections,….. LISTEN to the people who want and will guide you if you ask. MOST South Africans care want you to be safe.
Later on in the Karoo, Yves had to stay over at a farm as the distance was a bit much for a day. He was worried about "the people he don't know or know him." Thing is especially in the deep rural areas in South Africa, when you shake hands, intriduce yourself, and the other person tell you who he/she is, it is the end of "someone I don't know." You know each other and if you do not try your best to become an enemy, you are friends, and that is it.
How strange to see black & white people living their lives without genocide as the US president suggests πΏπ¦πΏπ¦πΏπ¦πΏπ¦ Turns out that lies, lies, lies really have short legs π¦΅
I am South African but the Ubuntu of our people makes me so emotional ππππ. Oh wow, this is so emotional ππππ
That was Marina DE Gama. Was one of the areas mentioned in your last video. The piece of road from Marina to the N2 is dangerous. As a South Africa I try to avoid this as much as possible. Why don't you come and visit our beautiful country.?
Can't watch…two audio tracks at the same time? No thanks.
this is the same area that was in your last video, i think it was number 10 on that video's list
πHi from Cape Town.. Lobe your show. Keep at it and I know your show will grow in leaps and boundsπ
I'm very happy–and priveleged—to live in Simon's Town, the most beautiful place on Earth, with the most beautiful people!
The place on the lake is one of the neighbourhoods you covered on your property video: Marina Da Gama
This guy is traveling from France to south Africa then from South Africa to France π¨π΅π¨π΅π¨π΅πΏπ¦πΏπ¦πΏπ¦
The sky in South Africa is blue and beautiful
It is the same area that you watched with the real estate. Area is called Marina Da Gama. Part of Muizenberg. This area is about 40 minutes from the city centre of Cape Town.
They know who he is
We see our country through his eyes & also some of the parts we don't know. It also showcases South African hospitality. I missed this episode. Valsbay may have bad spots on the way. Gangs = drugs = gun fights.
There are many estates like this one.
That chap first spoke Afrikaans to Yves.
Simonstown is a navel base. By the way, it's common for us to go bare foot when we're home or near the beach.
I work in Simons town. That is the real colour of the sky
ok stop the garbage Yves pays for every place he goes to there are areas in SA that are gang run and he is careful with how he is going around sa
Cycling from Strand to Hermanus is flrickin INSANE bruh. That's far with a car!
When foreign nationals do promo work for south africa we are bound to notice the country is deeply patriotic and appreciative when good vibes are returned
The penguins he is refering to ate jackass penguins they are in solid decline theres inly 5 or so colonies remaining concentrated along the southern cape conversation efforts so far bas not reversed their decline
