So today we went to the most traditional criate restaurant there is in Pathos. It is to die for. The Slovaki is to die for. It’s gorgeous. We’ve been there a few times now and honestly it never disappoints. Viclari or otherwise known as the last castle sits in the Akamas Peninsula. It’s in the middle of nowhere. You’re just surrounded by the turquoise waters, the big hills, goats, just just it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s like it’s paradise. So, after yesterday’s freakish weather where Cypus got bad weather in October, which hardly ever happens, um it was a little bit breezy up today, but the atmosphere didn’t disappoint. Honestly, the people there, the service, the food, the views is just outstanding. There isn’t a typical menu to choose from. You ask if you would like chicken or pork or both, and they’ll bring that with the salad and the potatoes and the wine beer or water or whatever you’ve chosen. Now, it is a bit tricky to get to. We actually parked a kilometer away, which is what we always do, and then walk the last kilometer in just because it’s a little bit the the road leading up to Viclari isn’t perfect, and some higher car companies don’t like you going that far. So, it’s up to you. You can either drive up to it. Um, but it’s a nice walk if you choose to walk. We prefer to walk to be honest.
