Why Everyone Falls in Love with San Diego

Hello everyone, welcome to Khoa Ta Go channel on a journey
to explore San Diego located in southern California, 24 km
from the Mexican border. This time we don’t start from the city center, but follow
the famous beautiful coastline before entering the city. Americans are practical, they often travel in mobile homes
like this, so they don’t have to rent a hotel and can cook
for themselves. While we were walking along the beach, we found a crowded
place so we decided to stop. Turns out this is just a beach walk, nothing special. But luckily, we got to know an extremely lovely bird that we
had never seen before: the sandpiper bird. When the waves come in, the birds run to the shore. And when
the waves go out, they quickly retreat, getting closer to
the water and for some reason pecking at the sand. The thing is, these birds feed on small organic matter:
plankton, worms, mollusks, organic debris. These delicacies are buried deep under the sand, where its
small beak cannot reach. That is why the birds are waiting
for the waves. The water itself will wash the food out of the sand. Watching the flock of birds nimbly and nimbly running after
the waves is extremely enjoyable. Just want to stay long enough to watch them to my heart’s
content The agility and resilience are admirable. The first planned destination was La Jolla Bay which is
considered the most beautiful place on the coast of San
Diego. This bay is not big but very picturesque. The bay is protected as part of a marine reserve; it is rich
in marine life and popular with divers. The waves that often come in from the ocean here can be
quite large and strong. The rocky part of the beach looks mysterious and wonderful:
there are many caves, rocky bends and sharp rocks lying in
the water. This is considered the most photographed beach in San Diego. La Jolla is considered the “Jewel” of San Diego. La Jolla is probably the coolest part of the city, it is to
San Diego what Beverly Hills is to Los Angeles. Many of San Diego’s rich and famous came to live here. All marine life in the area is protected by law. There are
sea lions, birds, and a beautiful view. Do you like this place? If so, please give me a Like. Beautiful scenery in the vast ocean setting, white foam
waves, and you can also see marine life. These things dispel the troubles of everyday life, making us
love life more. We are on our way to our next destination: Mission Beach. On both sides of the road are cemeteries, it looks simple
and tidy, true to the practical nature of Americans. Mission Beach – Perhaps the widest beach in the city, this
is a popular spot for sports like beach volleyball and
basketball. This beach is right next to San Diego’s amazing water park,
Mission Bay Park. This 4,600-acre aquatic playground is the
largest of its kind in the world. You can enjoy water sports and boating activities of all
kinds. Mission Bay is surrounded by several beach communities, each
with its own distinct atmosphere. Met the lovely sandpiper birds again Cabrillo National Monument is one of San Diego’s most
remarkable sites, where history meets nature. The Cabrillo National Monument was built in 1939 by
Portuguese sculptor Alvaro de Brea. The monument is 4.3 m
high and weighs nearly 6.5 tons. Around the monument there are many beautiful, interesting
places and observatories. It offers spectacular views of San Diego, the bay and the
Pacific Ocean. Cabrillo Park is in a picturesque location, with a headland
overlooking spectacular views of the San Diego harbor and
skyline, as well as Coronado and North Island Air Force
Base. The monument was built to honor Spanish explorer Juan
Rodriguez Cabrillo, the first European to set foot on the
west coast of the modern United States in 1542. This place attracts both history buffs and those looking to
admire stunning views of the ocean and San Diego. This is a part of American history associated with the era
of great geographical discoveries. This site marks the beginning of European influence in the
area that would later become California. Cabrillo and his team discovered this land and it became an
important stage in the development of the Americas. This national monument includes the Old Point Loma
Lighthouse, which operated from 1855 to 1891 before a new
lighthouse was built, and is located at the highest point on
the peninsula. The rocky slopes of the peninsula are also beautiful for
photography, where the waves have created many caves. The highest point in the park is Point Loma Lighthouse,
located in the middle of the peninsula. It is one of
California’s oldest lighthouses. During winter (December – March), pods of gray whales can be
seen migrating across the peninsula. The lookout was established in 1950 and became the world’s
first whale watching site open to the public. Coronado Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the
United States – Coronado, located in the town of the same
name in San Diego County. It was once home to Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Muhammad
Ali, Thomas Edison, Marilyn Monroe, and many other famous
people. This is a strip of fine, pure white sand about 150 meters
wide and 2.5 kilometers long. It is listed as one of the
most beautiful beaches in the United States. Coronado is famous for its clear waters, great weather
conditions and well-developed infrastructure. Active travelers can go diving, surfing or play beach
volleyball. The long sandy beaches here are special and really sparkle,
thanks to the mica minerals in the golden sand. As the island developed into a resort and tourist
destination, many celebrities stayed there, contributing to
the interesting history of Coronado Island. There are many hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs in
the area surrounding the beach. In 1888, the Hotel del Coronado was built in the beautiful
Queen Anne architectural style. Coronado Island has been a popular tourist destination for
over a hundred years, attracting tourists from all over the
world. A fairy tale city, a dream city – almost one in two
Americans say that’s San Diego. San Diego is one of the best and most famous resort cities,
one of the top 5 tourist destinations in the United States. Compared to sunny Los Angeles, this place has a more
developed tourist infrastructure, Life in San Diego is so calm and measured that many homes
don’t even need to have their doors locked. There is no rush
here like in big cities. San Diego homes line wide streets and are kept clean and
tidy thanks to strict laws requiring residents to carefully
maintain their properties. Today, San Diego’s population is about 1.5 million (more
than 3 million in the metropolitan area), one-third of whom
are Latino and 16% are Asian. White people still make up the majority of the city’s
residents. San Diego is a city in the far southwest of the United
States (just 24 km north of the Mexican border). Located on the shores of the bay of the same name, 177 km
(two hours’ drive) south of Los Angeles, San Diego is the
oldest city on the west Pacific coast of the United States. As one of the most beautiful resorts in the Pacific and the
most “Mexican” city in the United States, San Diego is known
as the city of “365 days of complete fun.” Balboa Park is a huge (490 ha) urban cultural park in San
Diego. A huge complex with entertainment areas, gardens, museums,
theaters, restaurants and sports fields Balboa’s main thoroughfare is El Prado Avenue, with its wide
promenade, colonial-style buildings, a lake and beautiful
fountains. Most of the decorative buildings here are built in the
Spanish Colonial Revival style. Most of the park’s museums and cultural centers are located
at El Prado. 19 gardens, 17 museums, 13 entertainment venues, 9
performance stages, numerous rides and playgrounds,
restaurants, dog parks and walking trails. Balboa Park, San Diego’s main attraction and the pride of
its residents, is affectionately referred to by locals as
the “green heart” of San Diego. The park’s foundations were laid in the mid-19th century,
but its real history begins in the second decade of the 20th
century. The park is named in honor of Spanish navigator Vasco Nunez
de Balboa. A lovely squirrel was waiting for us here. Maybe God knew there would be a cameraman coming here so he
was waiting ready. He probably wanted to become famous on TV so he tried his
best to show off his acting talent. Everyone, please give the squirrel a Like so he can
successfully fulfill his dream. What a talented and adorable squirrel! The best gardeners, architects and designers in the country
were involved in landscape planning and park construction. The main theme of the future exhibition design is the
culture of the Spanish colonial period and its connection
with the New World. Many of the pavilions in the central part of the park are
built in the Spanish colonial architectural style. The buildings are lavishly decorated with reliefs and
ornaments typical of the Spanish Baroque architectural
style. Held in 1915-1916, the Panama-California Exposition was a
great success. The success of the exhibition was due to the unique and
diverse landscape of Balboa Park, as well as the original
beauty of the exhibition pavilions. This unique monument was created by sculptor Seward Johnson
in 2005 based on the famous photograph “Unconditional
Surrender” by Alfred Eisenstaedt The photo “Unconditional Surrender” became a symbol of
American victory in World War II. This 7.6 meter tall giant statue is made of aluminum and is
capable of withstanding Category 3 hurricane winds. Its official name was “Unconditional Surrender”, but it was
commonly known to the public as “Kissing Sailor”. It should be noted that the public is very fond of imitating
this Kiss, and the scene is periodically reenacted in Times
Square o New York by hundreds of participants. The nurse’s name is known. This is Edith Shane. At the age
of 90, she repeated this kiss at the VE Day celebration in
Madison Square Park, New York. And who that sailor was remains a mystery. As many as 11
candidates have claimed it was them. USS Midway was America’s first heavy aircraft carrier. It
served in the United States Navy for 47 years. Decommissioned on April 11, 1992. Since 1998 a museum ship
in San Diego. Length 295 meters, width 41.45 meters, speed 33 knots (60
km/h). The ship has a capacity of 137 to 153 aircraft. Embarcadero Park. With plenty of green space and stunning
views of the vibrant San Diego coastline, this park is the
perfect place to relax and unwind or host a private event. Located near the vibrant city center and offering stunning
views of the skyline, glittering yachts in the marina and
the world-famous San Diego Convention Center. Seaport Village is a small promenade area along the coast.
Everything is designed like a small village, with cute
wooden houses. This is the most pleasant and cozy place in the whole city.
Only Balboa Park can compete. Everything is designed like a small village, with cute
wooden houses, colorful flower beds and live music. The 14-acre waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment
complex recreates the harborside setting of a century ago. Opened in 1980, the complex includes 54 unique shops, 13
casual eateries, 4 fine riverside restaurants and is located
near local hotels. Located on San Diego’s picturesque coastline, Seaport
Village is a must-see destination that captures the charm,
history, and vibrant culture of this coastal city. Seaport Village was conceived to restore the spirit of San
Diego’s original Embarcadero, offering a unique mix of
shopping, dining and entertainment. Whether you’re interested in historical significance, want
to enjoy seaside dining, or are looking for a unique
shopping experience, Seaport Village promises to make your
visit worthwhile. The vision was to create a unique coastal experience
reminiscent of a cozy European village The design incorporates elements of San Diego’s
architectural heritage with Victorian buildings, paved
walkways and green spaces. Seaport Village has been conceived as an integrated
development, combining shopping, dining and entertainment. The goal was to create a vibrant atmosphere that captured
the essence of the laid-back coastal lifestyle in San Diego. Old Town was the first European settlement in California. It
is the oldest neighborhood in San Diego. The neighborhood covers 230 acres (93 ha). It is truly a vibrant place, blending Spanish, Native
American and Mexican cultural elements. In 2005 and 2006, California State Parks named Old Town San
Diego Historic Park the most visited state park in the
state. The natural beauty here is extremely rich, with rows of
colorful trees and cacti taller than a man. Old Town boasts a wide variety of Mexican restaurants.
Mexican music and dance resonate throughout. Mexican symbols
are diverse. If you have the desire to conquer another country, cross the
border and visit Tijuana, Mexico, which is right next to
the border. Our journey to explore San Diego ends here. Don’t forget to
