Aloft Tokyo Ginza by Marriott Hotel Room Tour! #japan 4k HDR

About a year ago, we did a room tour of the AC Hotel Tokyo Ginsza in Tokyo, Japan, which is located in a great area of Tokyo where we really like staying. Now, we’re going to show you the Aloft Hotel next door, which is one of three Marriott hotels on this street. The others being the AC Hotel next door and a courtyard. The location is great if you want to explore Ginsa being within easy walking distance of the famous Ginsa 6 shopping mall, the Kabuki Theater, and the Seikko Clock Tower, as well as a lot of other shopping. However, our favorite thing about the location is that it is near both the Ginsa and Hagashi Ginsa subway stations from where you can easily get to pretty much any part of the city. It’s a quick ride to Tokyo Station and wherever you want to go in Tokyo, it’s pretty easy to get there from one of these stations. Both of which are just a five or so minute walk from the hotel. There’s a Lawson’s convenience store across the street and a 24-hour 7-Eleven around the corner, as well as a Family Mart nearby. We chose this area for an overnight layover where we had to self-trfer between Narita and Haneda airports. If you have some time on your layover to explore the city, Ginsa is more or less on the path between the two airports and is close enough to most things in Tokyo that you might want to do on a quick layover. You can take the Narita Express to Tokyo station, which is then a quick transfer to Ginsa. From Ginsa, you can catch a direct train to Haneda Airport from Hagashi Ginsa Station without having to change trains anywhere along the way. Okay, so this is a room tour of the Aloft Hotel uh in Tokyo Ginsza in Tokyo, Japan. So, this is a larger king room. Um, we did get an upgrade from a regular king room. He just said it was larger. I’m not sure what it’s actually called. I’ll try to figure that out and put it in the description. But, um, this is, uh, a little bit larger than normal room. Here you can see the TV on the wall there. King-size bed. Um, kind of an interesting angle for the TV there at 90° from the bed, but doesn’t really matter. Um, windows here and then maybe this is why the TV’s against that wall. I don’t know. Have a nice big bench table area. Another stool or ottoman type of thing. Um, over here’s the nightstand and kind of a little nook thing on the other side. Over here’s the fridge and the coffee maker. Um, so this hotel is next to the AC in Ginsa, which is one of our favorite places to stay. We’re just here overnight, so we decided to stay here um tonight so we could try it out, make a room tour. But it’s in a very nice part of uh Tokyo. It’s pretty easy to get around. There’s a Family Mart right across the street, which is really nice for late night snack run like we’re about to do here once we get done with this. So, anyways, we continue here. Um there’s a mirror. This uh room doesn’t really have a closet. Just has this rack here with few hangers and stuff. There is a place here to put some luggage and a couple of drawers. And then the bathroom. So, uh, totally separate bathroom here. There’s the sink and little stool there. Um, and then the showers. Pretty nice. It’s a nice waterfall shower with a little wand there, a little bench. Um, overall pretty nice. And then the toilet room is just again separate. So everything’s kind of separated which I like. Um so we are transferring between Haneda and Narita or rather the other way around. We flew in to Narita flying out via Haneda airport. So uh this hotel is a nice place along the way. Uh you can take the Narita Express train from Narita into Tokyo station. You could take it to Shinagawa, which is actually quite a bit closer to Haneda, but um like I said, we like this location. We went into town tonight. So um kind of a nice um in between. And then from here, you can take a train that uh turns into the KQ line that goes straight out to Hanade airport, which is what we’ll be doing in the morning. So um I’ll probably do a video on making that transfer between the two airports. But again, Ginsza, the Tokyo station area, Shinagawa, those are good places along the way if you have an overnight layover where you have to transfer between airports. So, um, again, this is the Aloft Hotel in Tokyo, Ginsa, and this is a larger king room. And that will do it for our room tour. Heat. Heat. N. [Music]

A room tour of a ‘Larger King Room’ in the Aloft hotel in Ginza in Tokyo, Japan. This hotel is in a great area in Tokyo – within walking distance of the upscale shopping area of Ginza and within a 5 minute walk of 2 subway stations, which offer easy access to anywhere in Tokyo.

We used this hotel for an overnight layover in Tokyo, where we had to transfer between Narita and Haneda airports. This was a great location for the transfer between airports while still being close to things to do in the city for a quick stopover – more details in the video.
