Chill Day in Zadar Croatia

Hey, good morning everyone. It is November 6, 2025. I just got off the Norwegian Viva cruise ship and this is Zedar, Croatia. So, this is our last full day of the cruise. Tomorrow they drop us off in Trieste, Italy, and we never get back on the boat. So, this is actually our last like full cruise day. Um, I don’t really know what to do here. I know there’s like a sea organ thing. We’ll go take a look at that. Of course, we’ll find a geocache and kind of just kick around in Zador, Croatia today. Hope you guys enjoy the video. All right, so exiting the cruiseport terminal. Uh Norwegian offers tickets for $20 for a roundtrip ticket or you can just go get a taxi for €5 right to the old town. All right. Well, got to the old town from the taxi. I got lucky. I found a family from California. Um, you needed a minimum of four people to get the€ 5 deal and the family took me in and I even got to sit in the front seat and now we are here. I think the NCL uh bus ticket is a scam. There’s always a taxi or a public transportation outside of the cruiseport terminals for the most part. So definitely check that before you spend the 20. Up here’s like a garden. And we’re in the old town here. All right, we’re in the garden. And there’s a geocache up here somewhere. I wonder where it could be. Oh, it’s right here, actually. Cool. So, again, I really don’t have any like set plans or anything. I was actually editing videos all morning. It’s already like 12:30. The ship got here at 6:30, so I’ve been like editing videos and uh I did a cruise ship tour today because I knew today was the last day of the cruise, so I wanted to make sure I knocked that video out. So, I’ve already done a lot of walking and filming for that other video. Um, but now I’m just pretty much here to get some lunch and explore around a little bit uh before we leave tonight. This is pretty cool. There’s like a glass floor here and you can see that there’s like old You can kind of see that there’s old historical foundations under there and stuff. There’s like a tunnel over there. That’d be cool to explore. Right here is some restaurants. Kind of like a square. We’re headed towards the next geocache, actually. All right, I’m walking down. I’m not sure if it’s the main street, but the uh ground is the same way as the main road in Dubrovic. It’s the same kind of smooth white uh marble, not marble. I don’t know what it is. Oh, here’s the town square. All right. Of course, can’t pass this up. This is like one of the most interesting things visiting a new country, a grocery store. Here we go. That’s the same beer we had over in Dubic. Real good bread. I had that one. Ball of meat. I could live here. Like local beers and stuff here. I’ve never heard of Look how orange the Fanta looks here. In other countries, it’s more like this color. [Music] All right. Is this uh dry meat? Is it good to eat? Yes. Okay, I’ll buy this. Thank you. Oh, do you have a smaller one? Smaller size. Like the smallest one. Yeah. Perfect. Thank you. You know what? I’m going to try one of these, too. All right. Now, I should be all set. Actually, you can open it right there. Yeah. I think it is open like that. Piss off. Yeah. Okay. All right. I got my local I think it’s local. Yeah. Got my local beer here and my local meat. [Music] Okay. That’s like a a darker beer. Way more bitter than something that I would buy again. But I can’t waste it. So, I got to drink the whole thing. Okay. I’m going to try this meat here. I don’t think it’s raw. [Music] Not sure what the laws are around here, but I’m going to walk around with this beer. See what happens. I’m walking down the street drinking this beer and this random lady runs up to me. It’s the best of beer. It’s from my home city. So, if she’s from Croatia, then it is local. All right, we’re getting closer to this very awesome local church. Now, as tempting as it looks, I could climb up there. But if you’ve watched any of my other videos this week, you know how big of a fan of stairs I have become. I think I’m actually going to pass on that one. Okay, this is like the main square here. We got some Roman ruins here, too. Right in the old town. It’s exactly what I saw over in Greece this week, like on Delos. All right. Well, that beer was pretty strong. I’m definitely feeling it. My face is a little numb, but I’m uh I just left the old town and I’m headed over to the end of this peninsula here to find two more geocaches. Uh it’s just an earth cashache and a virtual cache, so there’s really no container, so I won’t be filming any of that. But yeah, after that, we’ll get some lunch and probably head back to the ship. I don’t know. It’s really Look at that. There’s my yacht. That’s my uh that’s mine someday. I’ll tell you right now, the worst part about traveling is seeing dogs around and then thinking of timber at home. And I I want to see timber. That’s the worst part. I’m away from him for so long. These guys are getting ready to go on some epic fishing adventure here, it looks like. Heck yeah. [Applause] If you do decide to come here to Zadar, Croatia, uh it is advised to get a tour up into the mountains. There’s a national park up there. It’s supposed to be really nice. It takes about two hours by bus to get there. Uh, but like I said, I didn’t have a chance to do that. I was kind of busy doing YouTube stuff and all that. So, maybe next time. A pro tip, if you take a taxi out here for €5 and you didn’t want to spend the $20 for NCL, but this is the NCL uh shuttle bus. You can actually just hop on that and go right back to the cruise ship without having to pay $20 or paying a a cab. Another $5 to get back. This is an art piece here. This glass panel and it is part of a virtual geocache. Supposed to light up at night. It’s like a solar powered art piece. Cool. And then we have the sea organ over there which plays music using air pushed by the waves. We’ll check that out after this. It’s a pretty calm day, so you’re not hearing too much, but you can definitely hear it. A boat just went by, so it’s going to make more sounds now. [Music] [Music] [Music] That’s pretty crazy. It’s like the uh aquatic version of a wing chime or something. All right, I think it’s definitely time to get some lunch. Probably not skip the beer. That was a pretty strong one. Maybe get some gelato and then uh then we can head back. Well, I got to say this cruise was really cool. It was very busy. There were no sea days, which means every single day there was another another place, another country, another port, another excursion, another video. It’s the first cruise I was ever on that had no breaks. So, every day there was another thing. I like that kind of stuff. So, I enjoyed it. All right. I think I found a little restaurant here. Pizzeria. I go for some pizza. 1780. Well, I’m not hungry anymore. Was a entire p I mean the pizza I got in here for €13 in the US in Denver. That would be like $25 easily. And then if I had it delivered, you’re looking at, you know, $33. All right, everyone. I am headed back to the ship. This is the last cruise port of this trip, but I will be making more videos. I’m still not done. I have another week or so of traveling around Europe. I’m headed up to uh Slovakia and Prague, Czech Republic after the cruise. So stay tuned for those videos and thanks for watching.

  1. Do you make videos from Dubrovnik? You are definitely the best creator on YT. I'm sorry we couldn't meet in Croatia, if you ever come, let me know because I'm a big fan of yours. Of course, if I come to America too, I'll definitely send you my regards, if not, I'll look for gold in some famous places
