LAS VEGAS Walking Tour 2025 | The Strip + Fremont Street at Night with Captions [4K/60fps]
Let’s start this part of the walking tour on
the Strip, walking toward the Bellagio Fountain. As we continue along the Las Vegas Strip,
you’ll see why this stretch of road is often called the brightest three miles in the world. The Strip isn’t technically inside the City of Las Vegas,
it sits in unincorporated Paradise, Nevada, but it has become the global symbol of the city
thanks to its resorts, architecture, and nonstop nightlife. Nearly 40 million visitors pass through here every year, and this
area alone generates billions in gaming, entertainment, and tourism revenue. Walking toward the Bellagio, you’ll see how the Strip
was designed on a massive scale: wide pedestrian bridges, eight-lane roads, synchronized LED screens, and themed facades
that turn the entire boulevard into one long theatrical stage. The Bellagio itself opened in 1998,
built by casino visionary Steve Wynn, and instantly set a new
standard for luxury in Las Vegas. It was inspired by the elegance of Lake
Como’s town of Bellagio in Italy, and at the time of its opening it was
the most expensive hotel ever built, costing $1.6 billion. In front of the resort is the attraction
you’re walking toward now Bellagio Fountains, one of the most photographed
and iconic sights in Las Vegas. The lake covers more than 8 acres, and its fountain
system includes over 1,200 nozzles and 4,500 lights, capable of sending water up to 460 feet in the air. Shows run every 15–30 minutes depending
on the time of day, each programmed to a different music track
ranging from classical to contemporary pop. More than 10 million people watch
these fountain shows every year, making it one of the most-visited
free attractions in the United States. Don’t forget to check out our Las Vegas
by Day Walking Tour and other evening walking tours, including those from Monaco (Monte Carlo),
Miami, Amsterdam, London, and more. You’ll find all the links in the description box. Welcome to Downtown Las Vegas, the historic heart
of the city and the place where Vegas truly began. Long before the mega-resorts of the Strip existed, this
area was the center of gambling, neon, and nightlife. In fact, Fremont Street was the very first
paved road in Las Vegas back in 1925, and also the site of the city’s first
traffic light, first telephone, and first casino license. Walking here at night feels like
stepping back into the early chapters of Las Vegas history, only with
modern energy buzzing through every corner. As we enter the Fremont Street Experience, you’ll immediately notice the massive
overhead canopy stretching five blocks across the downtown core. This structure, known as Viva Vision, is the largest
LED video screen in the world. The canopy is 1,375 feet long, 90 feet
wide, and made from more than 49 million LED lights, with a powerful sound system
that delivers immersive, timed light-and-music shows every hour. The current upgraded version cost nearly $32 million, completed in 2020,
and is seven times brighter than the original 1995 installation. Beneath the canopy, Fremont Street turns into
a lively pedestrian zone filled with street performers, tribute artists, live bands, and the iconic
neon glow reflecting from every direction. Many of the most famous neon signs you see
here—like the Vegas Vic cowboy and Sassy Sally’s, date back decades and have become cultural landmarks that
defined the “Old Vegas” look still recognized worldwide. Some of the vintage signs have been restored by the Neon
Museum, which is located just a few minutes from here. On your left and right, you’ll pass
some of the city’s most historic casinos. Places like the Golden Nugget, opened in 1946, are some
of the oldest continuously operating casinos in Las Vegas. The Golden Nugget houses one of the world’s
largest gold nuggets on public display, called the Hand of Faith, weighing
27.21 kilograms and discovered in Australia. Nearby, the Binion’s Gambling Hall, formerly Binion’s
Horseshoe, is the birthplace of the World Series of Poker, first hosted here in 1970
with just a handful of players. This entire street helped shape the identity of Las Vegas
long before the billion-dollar resorts of the Strip appeared. One of the most unique attractions above us is
the SlotZilla Zipline, a giant slot-machine-themed tower that launches riders either halfway across the street (Zipline) or
the full length in a superhero-style “Zoomline” position. It’s one of the most popular thrill experiences downtown and a good example of how Fremont
Street blends vintage Vegas with modern entertainment. As you continue walking, listen to the
mix of live music, classic rock, EDM, and pop that shifts as you
move from stage to stage. Fremont Street hosts hundreds of free concerts every year, from
tribute bands to major artists, drawing millions of visitors annually. Despite being much smaller than the Strip, the Fremont
Street Experience attracts over 24 million visitors each year, making it one of the most
visited pedestrian zones in the United States. Here in Downtown, you’ll notice a completely different atmosphere
compared to the polished luxury of the Strip. It’s raw, energetic, nostalgic, and full of personality,
Vegas at its most authentic and unfiltered. This is where the city’s neon legacy started,
where many of its casino legends made their names, and where the spirit of “Old
Vegas” still glows with full intensity every night. ♡ THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! ♡ If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like,
