Best Biker roads in Switzerland: Nufenen pass (part 7)
[Music] In a two-eek round trip, we explored the mountain passes in the Swiss and Italian Alps. In a day trip, we rode five different mountain passes in the south of Switzerland. In this episode, join us riding the Newfanan Pass close to the Italian border. [Music] The climb from Aolo started with cloudy skies. After a while, we entered into the mist. [Music] But the heavens opened up when we approached the New Feainan pass viewpoint. [Music] Here we reached an altitude just below 2,500 m. The Nufenen pass is the second highest mountain pass in Switzerland with a paved road. We started in Airolo and headed west. From the top you have a magnificent overlook over the hairpins in the road to Ulrichen. This village is strategically located in the vicinity of different passes. From here you can tour the Grimsel-, Susten-, Gotthard-, Tremola-, Nufenen- and Furka pass.
