So, you’re going to Cypress in October. Here’s what you need to know. The weather is perfect. It’s still hot, 24 to 28 degrees, but that hot, humid feeling you get in the midday summer where it’s too hot to do anything has disappeared. Starts to get cooler in the evening, so you may need a little something to go over your shoulders. The sea is still lovely and warm. It’s about 25 degrees, so it’s perfect for swimming. Still loads of fish in it, too. So, you won’t shudder when you go and you’re walking and it’s lovely and warm. You might want to pack a couple of layers for the evening. It’s still really warm, so you won’t need a coat or anything, but just to take the chill off in case you’re walking along and there’s a seab breeze. Don’t be fooled because it’s October that you won’t need sunscreen. You absolutely will. That sun can still burn you. It’s still surprisingly hot. Now that the hot summer sun’s gone, you can get out and explore during the day. So go around the archeological parks, the tomb of the kings, or go and see Papos Castle. October is a great time for hiking. So hit Tridos Mountains, go hiking, go to the waterfalls, and enjoy that cooler air. Now, it might be worth taking your Avon skin so soft to keep away the mozzy. September is that mozzy month and there’s a few flies around. So, that’ll keep them at bay. If you want to eat what’s fresh right now, it’s grapes, pomegranates, and olives. The pomegranates are just all over the trees right now. They’re just hanging around. You can just see them. They’re absolut They look absolutely delicious. October is a great month for celebrating wine. So, get yourself on a wine tour. There’s loads of kind of wine tasting experiences all over Cypress and Limol has a big festival at this time, too. hire a car and get round to all the hidden beaches and the hidden villages. Go and get those hidden gems and they drive on the left so you don’t need to worry about hiring a car and it just gets you out and about and gets you to see the real Cyprus. The Blue Lagoon is stunning in October. So get yourself near to the Akamas and go and explore the Blue Blue Lagoon. You can get there by hiking, by a boat or by jeep safari, by boogie hire. But definitely go there. It’s worth the visit. order a mezz or any kind of slovaki or soua food from a criate or two criate restaurant. It will not disappoint. Honestly, it’s the ultimate food experience in Cyprus. Also, October things start to get a little bit quieter. So, enjoy it not being too busy and just enjoy having like markets a little bit quieter and the seafront a little bit quieter. And like I say on most my videos, don’t forget to see the sunsets. They are unreal, especially in October. They are so intense. Enjoy.
