Our Longest Travel Day EVER (Thailand Daily Vlog #1)

Thailand. Thailand. We are officially in IH heading to checkpoint E. We came in through checkpoint D, but that’s not open. So, let’s see how long it takes us to get through. We were literally just right over there. Now we’re in line to deal with all this. This may or may not be the quickest TSA ever. Yeah, you can see the standard TSA lines really backed up here at this hour compared to an hour. I don’t know if anybody else does this, but I have to confirm my gate exists before I go enjoy my time at the airport. Yep. Uh 6 hours worth of time because we really thought we were going to be here in a TSA waiting line for like 3 hours. But what’ you say? Can’t move in this backpack. One wrong wind and I’m gone. That’s my wife, guys. the one that wanted to international travel. We have found our gate. Let’s go eat. All righty. In order to stay cozy on this trip, we got these Patagonia slings because, you know, Diego wouldn’t let me buy a new backpack. And they’re going to house all of our toiletries over the next 30 hours while we’re traveling to Bangkok. And we’re not going to be able to shower cuz last time we had lounge access and this time it’s just all us. So I got deodorant, makeup wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste, all of that to help us stay fresh and happy while on this trip. They’re finally calling flight zones or boarding groups, whatever you call it, to load up. Here we go. We definitely aren’t in first class, but this is going to be worth it. It’s happening. Well, officially 10 more hours on this lovely flight. Let’s clean up before I call it a night. Um, it’s 9:57 p.m. I don’t know what that means in travel time. Oh my god. Looks like one of those ample fritters from McDonald’s. No, he’s crooked. It’s going to be a hard landing. Go. We just landed in guitar. First thing we got to do is get some coffee and then find our gate. I actually kind of love flying at night because it’s a lot more chill. Still kind of a lot of people, but vibes are different. We have officially confirmed the existence of our gate. Coffee time. Now, just so everyone’s aware, I had to blackmail Ashlin to coming back to a coffee shop with me cuz she was like, “I’m too tired. I can’t hold my backpack.” I’m like, “Come on. When are we going to be in Qatar ever again?” This wasn’t adjusted, but it was hurting me. Did I adjust it for you well enough this time? We did. Yeah, actually. Was that a backpack store? We got our coffee. Let’s try it. As per usual, iced vanilla latte. Spectacular. If you ever at the Qatar airport, Joe in the Juice, good spot. Very good. Very sugary. Oh, I love sugary coffee. All right, guys. We’re about to go through the immigration process. Stay tuned. We’re going to let you know if it was easy, bad, rough. I think it was easy. officially in Bangkok. Ashlin was terrified. She was so quite literally shaking in her boots, but all we had to do the wait was maybe like 20 minutes. Not too bad. All you needed was your passport and your uh boarding pass. They didn’t even check the arrival card, so I don’t know. But but hey, this is my first stamp on my passport. I didn’t get one when we were in in Bali. Oh, yeah. You didn’t. I didn’t care about that there. Anyways, we’re off to find our way to our hostel. Catch that on the next video. A little worried because last time we were in Indonesia, we got there really early and there was nothing open. So, we’re going to try and finesse public transport to get to our hostel. Later wannab bees.
