🎄 Dortmund, Germany’s Best Christmas Market in December 2025✨4K HDR Walking Tour

In this video, I’m taking you on a walk through the Christmas market in Dortmund, Germany on a December night in 2025. The city is home to one of the largest Christmas trees in the world. Towering at an incredible 46 meters (150 feet), this iconic tree is truly breathtaking. It’s constructed from more than 1,700 spruce trees and illuminated by over 45,000 lights. As the centerpiece of Dortmund’s Christmas market, it draws thousands of visitors every year, which is why the city continues to invest in this remarkable 40-tonne tree each holiday season. Dortmund’s Christmas market, officially known as Weihnachtsstadt, is widely considered one of the largest and most beautiful in Germany. The 2025 edition was especially memorable, with the entire city center transformed into a magical winter village. More than 300 beautifully decorated wooden stalls line the streets, offering everything from handcrafted ornaments and unique gifts to delicious local specialties. And of course, no visit would be complete without a cup of warm Glühwein (hot wine) to enjoy as you soak in the festive atmosphere.

Dortmund is a vibrant city in the Ruhr region of North Rhine-Westphalia and is also world-famous for its football club, Borussia Dortmund, one of Germany’s most successful and popular teams. With its central location near cities like Düsseldorf, Essen, and Cologne, Dortmund makes an excellent destination for a winter getaway.
