This Is Why Lebanon Is So Addictive—My Final Day Vlog 🇱🇧

Yeah. Wow. It has a little bit of a kick to it, too. Wow.
Look at this car. Here we are. This is the KF I’ve been looking for. Look at how beautiful
that looks. Look at that. Those guys are having a blast. Those jet skis are just ripping circles
around here. Every single time I interact with Lebanese people, I fall more and more in love with
the country. I feel very underdressed. Like people are done up here. Food. There’s water in them
and there’s some dry food in some of them. People left these all here for all the cats. Man, look at
those guys. They’re about to sink. I’ve never seen people fish like that in my life. Man, Lebanese
are built different. What’s up everybody? Welcome to my last day in Beirut, Lebanon. I’ve only got
a few hours left until the sun sets, so I thought I would take you guys along with me as I explore
the city one last time. I’m actually really sad I’m leaving. Like, I can’t wait to come back next
summer. I’ll probably come back for about 2 weeks, I’m guessing. next summer. It listen, it’s
not a big city. It’s not a big country, but you do need time. It’s It’s very enjoyable.
Even if you do the same thing every single day, it’s Beirut. The energy here is something else.
Right now, I’m smack in the middle of Beirut. You have Martyr Square over there, which has a ton
of history. Massive flag of Lebanon. You have the Alamine Mosque. You have a Marinite church,
which was built couple hundred years ago. Now, you have Roman ruins from thousands of years
ago all along over here. This used to be a Roman road. And then you have another church. I’m
actually not sure what kind of church that is, but it has three separate buildings. So, it’s
1, two, and three. Not too many places in the world you could go to that has this much
history so close to each other. In Lebanon, every street has history. It doesn’t matter
which street you go to, especially in central Beiruts. No matter where you go, you’ll see
something from like 100 years ago, 200 years ago, maybe from 40 years ago, somebody will always
have a story to tell you. No matter what street you’re on. And now I’m getting hungry. So,
let’s go hit up the Armenian Quarter. I’m going to have a sandwich I haven’t tried yet.
It’s a sujuk sandwich. I don’t think I’ve seen any other country that has sujuk shwarma wraps.
They even have it on the shora like spinning thing where usually there’s chicken or beef
being cut from it. They have sujuk on that. So, it’s a really small place. Only take
out. There’s nowhere to sit down. They have some places where you can lean
against, but it’s pretty loud under so I came outside. Here’s how it looks.
Pretty standard pa sandwich. I told you guys I’ve never tried this kind of sujuk
before, especially in a wrap like this. That’s not sujuk. That’s bushwarma. I went in there and I told
him, “Hey buddy, I ordered a sujuk. What is this?” He’s like, “Come.” He gave me a sujuk
wrap and he took that wrap back. And now we know it’s sujuk because we could see a little
bit of it hanging out. All right, first bite. Much thicker than the schwarma. You know what
it tastes like? It tastes like pepperoni. It literally tastes like you’re biting into long
strips of pepperoni. [Music] It has a little bit of a kick to it, too. Not too spicy, just a little
bit. Ali Alaka Ali for tourism or work here? Tourism. Tourism. Yeah. I’m I’m from Canada, but
originally I’m from Iran. Yeah. Yeah. I’m born in Canada. You work in Canada, but you’re uh Irani.
Irani. Yeah. Like Lebanese Canada. Like who? That live in Canada and have a passport. Exactly.
Exactly. Like Lebanon more than Canada. Uh both both countries have their beauties but Beirut is
very nice. I could only speak about Beirut. Beirut is beautiful. You like Beirut? Yeah, I don’t like
Beirut because of traffic. Traffic traffic here. You guys I love more. You you know in Canada
we have more traffic than Beiruts in Toronto. Next up, we’re going to get some sweets
at Dwahi Sweets of Lebanon. Hopefully, they have the KFA that I like.
I’m looking for some KFA Nablusi. That’s the one that I’ve been looking for.
Wow, they have all these different types of baklava and pastries, too. This place is
so good. Here we are. This is the KF I’ve been looking for. Look at how beautiful that
looks. It also comes with this on the side. You’re supposed to pour it on top. Got a bottle
of water. And I’m not sure what this is they gave me. Maybe I’ll stay away from that because
today I’m eating everything. First things first. Pour that all over on top. Here’s a big bite. I can actually use a little bit more of this. So, let’s just spray that all over. But wow,
this is quality dessert. My god, [Music] man. The staff at that restaurant were such
sweethearts. They were all such nice people. Every single time I interact with Lebanese people, I fall more and more in love with the
country. Got to this mall over here in Ashraf ABC Mall. Parts of it are covered and
then parts of it are just wide open like this. Very cool place. I’m just here
in shorts and a t-shirt. I feel very underdressed. Like people are done up here. This is such a cool mall. Now I’m going to the
rooftop. I’m sure there’s more stores here, but it’s really cool. I’ve never seen a concept
like this. I actually love it. Makes everything nice and bright. Oh yeah, looks like it’s
all restaurants over here. It’s so funny because I was just walking by and I walked in.
I had no idea this place was not on my list at all. Yeah. So over here it’s all restaurants.
There’s a movie theater here. There’s a bunch of stuff. Dip and dip chocolate, Joe and the
Juice, international brands. Very busy here, too, at this mall. Of course, I find a mall that
I love on my last day in Beirut. All right, we are about to hit up one of the most iconic sites
in all of Lebanon. Raos. Wow, look at this car. That’s a cool color Lambo. Hold on, guys. I’m trying to see what I can
squeeze in over here. Let me go right now. There’s boats that keep going in between
it and they keep doing spins all around it. There’s even jet skiis that keep going in and
out of it. What a nice view that plane has right now of Beirut. Perfect time to land over here.
This is beautiful. And that is Qatar Airways. pretty much just goes all the way around all
of downtown Beirut. People walk up and down it, families, everybody. Thought the only way to
view it was from the actual Cornesh itself, but people are coming down here, too. Somebody told me people used to jump down from
here into the water. Go down a few more stairs. Wow, what a beautiful view from over here, guys. Look at that. Those guys are having
a blast. Those jet skiis are just ripping circles around here. This is beautiful. Beirut is truly something else. Everybody’s going
down here and I guess you get an unobstructed view. But I’m going to go back. I’m going
to walk the whole Cornish to downtown Beirut right now. And the bugs here are just completely
killing me. These Lebanese mosquitoes and flies, they have no soul. They’re just all over me. You
guys have the shisha out already selling water bottles. It’s just something very common here in
Lebanon. Right when the sun starts going down, people just sit down anywhere and pull out a
shisha. Like last night was Saturday night over here when the stores were closing. People just
pulled out their chairs in front of the stores and everybody just smoking shisha. Literally the
whole city smelt like double apple tobacco. And this walk is beautiful, guys. There’s palm trees
lined up all along it. Clean sidewalks over here. You’ll see restaurants on the other side of
these restaurants is the ocean. They all have a beautiful view of the Lebanese waterfront.
Only downside is every single night there’s a crazy amount of traffic here because there’s
so many people coming here every single night to go for a walk, enjoy the restaurants, coffee
shops, just fay route in the summer. As I said it a million times already. It’s something else. I’m
so lucky. Most of this walk has been downhill so far. Like look, I came from over there. It’s
all been downhill. You see people’s leftover food. There’s water in them and there’s some
dry food in some of them. People left these all here for all the cats. I don’t know if you guys
could see. There’s like 50 cats in front of me. I’m counting just over here. Seven. There’s
like three over here. And look, this is the dry food people left. All of these have water
inside them. Man, there’s cats everywhere here. Man, look at those guys. They’re about to sink.
There is nothing around them. And the water’s about to take over the rock they’re standing on.
I’ve never seen people fish like that in my life, man. Lebanese are built different. These
guys are fishing right in the ocean. That is peak masculinity right there. Those two guys.
Warriors. We’re going to keep going this way out to Cornish. Look how beautiful this view is,
guys. Right now, you’re going to hear a lot of music. I hope YouTube doesn’t catch on to it and
demonetize my video. Be famous for its nightclubs, and most of their nightclubs are either on
rooftops or on the beachfront. Oh, look at these fishermen. They’re just hanging off these rocks.
Oh, wow. There’s people even swimming over here. I didn’t know people swim over here to
be honest. I thought it was too high for people to jump in, but I guess
there’s ways to go down from here. The water just looks beautiful.
Nice and clear. Look at that. This is where all the noise is coming from.
The biggest pool party where Vieira I did the unthinkable. Zero partying in Beirut.
Nobody comes to Beirut without partying, especially in the summer. These dogs are tied
to barb wire. Everyone’s here hanging out at the beach. They’re swimming, whatever. Right.
These two poor dogs. They’re tangled. Look, this one can’t even move. Look at him. He
can’t even sit down properly. He can’t lay down. He’s trying to lay down right now. He
can’t. That’s literally animal abuse. [Music] Guys are nuts. They just jumped off here. Look, there’s rocks over here and
they jumped right over it. Wow. Wow. These guys are nuts. All right, let’s hit up
Uncle Dick and grab a coffee. I think the store Yeah, it’s called Uncle
Dick Coffee or Uncle Dick. Sorry, not Dick. Uncle Deick coffee. This one, right? Thank you. Sugar. No. No. Okay. I needed a little
pickme uper. I had no idea it was going to take me this long to get here. I still
have at least another half hour left. That’ll keep me up for a few hours. [Music]
[Music] Finally made it to Zetuna Bay. Wow, that
was a walk from Rocher, guys. But it was a blast. I wouldn’t have spent my last day in
Beirut any other way. If you made it this far, thank you so much. I’ll see you in the
next one. Goodbye from Beirut, Lebanon.

On my final day in Lebanon, I explored some of the most iconic and historic places in Beirut. I started my morning walking around the stunning Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque, followed by the beautiful Saint George Maronite Cathedral right beside it. Just steps away, I checked out the Roman ruins and another historic church that remind you how ancient and diverse this city truly is.

After exploring downtown Beirut, I headed to Basterma Mano for their famous sujuk shawarma, one of the most flavourful sandwiches you can find in Lebanon.

Later in the afternoon, I visited Raouché, also known as Pigeon Rocks.
Raouché is a natural rock formation along Beirut’s coastline, massive limestone sea stacks that have become one of the city’s most famous landmarks. Locals and tourists come here for the incredible views, cliffside cafés, and the relaxing Mediterranean breeze.

To end the night, I walked through the beautiful Zaitunay Bay, one of Beirut’s most modern waterfront areas filled with restaurants, yachts, and perfect nighttime views.

This was the perfect way to end my trip and Lebanon definitely left a mark on me.

If you’ve never visited Beirut, this vlog will show you a completely different side of the city.

  4. fuck anyone who thinks they can come to our country just because it's cheap or because they thought it's a dessert and treat us like we are low-quality humans.
Everyone is welcome, but with respect and an open mind, our country became poor and chaotic everywhere because your government bid on our resources and land, and people.
Americans, Western Europe, etc.. is responsible for interfering with our government and country's interests by buying leaders with money to put their hands on things that can lead to their big plans in our region.
We are always shown to the world as terrorists. It's all a big propaganda so you can pay your tax dollars to your governments, while they work freely killing people and destroying lives in the name of (Fighting Terrorism), so it's alright to kill us because we are bad and not worthy of living. Those who think that way are mentally ill, and your governments are Ill.
If you want to know the truth, you seek it with an open heart and mind.
Your Leaders hate us because they hate hearing the word NO.
Those who work against Good are your people in disguise, taking the devil role inside of them, because it benefits their interests.

WAKE UP PEOPLE WAKE UP HUMANS FIGHT FOR GOOD DONT TAKE THE WRONG SIDE, THIS LIFE IS NOTHING BUT A TEST, AND IT ENDS WITH A BLINK OF AN EYE.

MY HEART IS FULL, BUT I BELIEVE HUMANITY IS STILL THERE, AND THERE WILL BE TIMES.

No hard feelings for the creator, he did a good job covering. Also, thanks for showing how beautiful my country is <3.
