Historic WW2 U-Boat Base

The submarine base was built by Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1942. It’s 300 m long, 130 m wide, and 18 m tall. And the roof is nearly 10 m thick, and it basically made it completely invulnerable to bombing attack. So, you can imagine the peers being full of views setting out into the Atlantic to destroy the Allied fleet.

See tonight’s full episode where we discover a key main base for Nazi Germany’s U-boat fleet that once terrorised the allied fleet in World War Two.
