Saint-Jean-De-Luz, France June 2025 Town 3

No, I’m not a writer. >> Okay. Wouldn’t it be crazy? >> Hey, welcome back to my channel. Town number three. We’re in Sanjon Deuth, France. Let’s go find out what’s going on. My first impression is that everyone’s speaking French, but there are many hikers here. I’ve seen several people with big backpacks and walking sticks. Anyway, here’s what we see. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. It’s hard to believe this is not a statue, not a Go. Heat. Let’s look in here and see what they have. Heat. Heat. Oh, oh It look a freak it a girl. it. See, she sir for me. I think we can recommend this restaurant. But the most interesting thing about this is that it is housed in Mess Louis the 14th. It was built in 1643 and Louis the 14th came here to this town to be married. He stayed here for 40 days. He stayed here with his full entourage. And that’s how it got its name. But it was actually built by a very successful fishing industrialist. I guess that’s what you might call him. Anyway, I thought it was very interesting that Louis the 14th stayed here before he was married in the local church before he became king. Well, I hope you enjoyed this time with us in St. John Deluth and uh when you come, I hope you can figure out the parking meters. Anyway, we had a great time. Food was really good. Really amazing location. Okay, I’m going to go in here and get my clothes pressed and then we move on to the next town. That’s the pronto.

Saint-Jean-De-Luz is a charming old fishing town in southwest France’s Basque country. There we found enough to convince us that we must return. We went to the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, where King Louis XIV married Marie-Thérèse of Spain in 1660 and a perfect place for lunch.
