Great trip, but not sure a couple of vending machines equates to the term 'bistro car' but better than nothing I suppose.
The view is lovely. We will be taking a train from Siracusa to Taormina this September. Which side of the train should I select for seating? Do you recommend sitting on the right side to see same view like yours? Thank you!
the carriage with the grey seats: It looks like they have more room, than the other 1st class carriage with blue seats /or did they only reupholster one 1st class carriage? Would you reccommend a solo seat at the end of the carriage or further down? Ive denoted from your video, that I should be choosing the seat direction that you had, for Rome to Taormina, as I will then be forwards facing, as you were backwards facing, doing the reverse journey
