Extra label must be given you by Shinkansen sales man that you attach to the reservation luggage that you pre booked so Place for laggage must have Numbers us Well! We’re travelling and all Chinese people put their laggage with out having reservations for their laggage so they complete block mine
Thanks for making and sharing this video. おつかれさまでした
I have a suica card with a balance still in it. I haven't used it since 2015 , could i still use it on my next visit , ??
So it’s a good thing that the Chinese tourists are cancelling – more room for other tourists. I’m sure they won’t be missed!
Longtime visitor to Japan. Respect for Japan. Retired now and learning Japanese language. BUT garbage; will carry garbage for a couple of hours and after that WILL discard it somewhere, in a trash can or street or toilet counter. My patience will go only so far. Bombs in trash; that is an excuse for laziness in maintaining trash cans.
Your baby is waking up.
Installing trash cans on the streets won't help. US cities have trash cans everywhere but people will still litter. Good luck!
I’m going mid January
HI , DO YOU HAVE A WEBSITE IN EGSLIH WHERE I CAN RESERVE A SEAT BY SIHNKASEN? THANKS
Your English is good❤
You can delay the tax increase now, no Chinese visitors.
I’m just gonna go ahead and say Meg rules
You seem so nice; I appreciate your tips (even if some do not apply to me or I already know about them)
so i cant use my suica card anymore?
Nice
Teppay will be only for mobile Suica or with the physical card as well?
Very informative video! Also, Japan does not have to worry if China does not send any citizens to visit. Citizens from every other country will be very happy to take their spots!
When Japan reaches numbers like Spain (a similar country in size and geography. Yep, Spain is the country with the highest number of mountains in Europe. And most of Spain is empty), 85.7 million tourists in the first 10 months of 2025, I think that Japan will close itself and return to the Edo period. 😅🤣🤣🤣
What a good video, really helpful informations!!!
Also, I never thought about why I always hear there are no trash bins in public, never knew that was the reason…
The Japanese ¥ has dropped about 28% in the last 5 years thus making a vacation to Japan very reasonable. Airfares can be expensive at peak times but very cheap during off peak. Japan is one of those places you must visit. It is completely safe, extremely clean and an experience like no other. The culture is outstanding and the customs are incredible. Speaking of customs, spend a couple of hours on YouTube researching proper etiquette . For instance, when you go out bring a plastic bag to keep your trash with you. Don’t Jaywalk and don’t try to hand money directly to a shop clerk. Us the tray to give and receive your money. Strong perfumes or deodorants can be offensive as many Japanese don’t have the gene that produces underarm odour. This may sound strange but amongst my favourite places to eat are 7-11 (egg salad sandwich), Lawsons or SOGO. Do spend time learning the transit system before you go. Once learned it is very easy to get around. If you see Geisha ladies, don’t take their photo unless they give permission. It can be very disrespectful. Imagine if people came running up to you every few minutes to take your photo. I doubt you would like it. Lastly, someone tell me if Mt. Fuji actually exists. Every time I go it has been obscured by weather and the last time a Typhoon caused our ship to miss the port. I’ll keep returning in the hopes of seeing it.
Any tips? I arrive to Tokyo in Jan 7 and leave Japan on the 22nd 😊
About the hotel tax… What when I already booked my hotels for may '26? Will I be charged extra on arrival? Some hotels are already paid and some not. Edit: 2027 so ignore my question 😊
No matter where one is in the world. You have no reason to drop trash wherever you feel like it. Always carry a plastic bag for your trash to be disposed later in the proper place.
