Great trip. For Tokyo – Osaka route, this bus is useful for someone who needs to saving accomodation after taking some high speed transportation like Shinkansen or Flying, but for Osaka – Tokyo route there also Sunrise Express options.

If my mom and I are in Japan, we can either take an overnight bus ride or even an overnight train ride. We could fly to Tokyo-Haneda on American Airlines out of Dallas-Fort Worth and that’s why we’re from the U.S.

我也坐过两次夜行巴士，一次是东京到京都，一次是东京到姬路，不过都是普通座位巴士不是包厢巴士，晚上坐着睡觉确实很辛苦

Not to complain, but in my opinion, the best option is the shinkansen. Especially when someone are going home, it's best to sleep in own bed.😁😁 I think

The Shinjuku Tourist Info Center is great if you speak English and don't know where to go. I was there once and stopped for help, and they told me how to get to my hotel.
