      Aomori truly looks like a gorgeous destination. The nature shots of the Oirase Gorge were incredibly soothing, and the clarity of Lake Towada is breathtaking!

      The hotel stays looked so luxurious—the Gorge Suite and the truly spectacular Nebuta-themed room were both amazing and unique. I loved seeing the fresh Hachinohe seafood and, of course, the magical apple juice faucet 🍎!

      Thanks for the wonderful travel inspiration, Aomori is officially on my must-visit list!

      Extra info:
      This Neputa at 33:13 is typical of Hirosaki Neputa which are more 2D, and often feature differing art works on each side of the float.
      Large Neputa tend to be made with the capability to reduce their height either through the raising or lowering of the float, or by folding carefully designed sections whenever approaching street lights.

      34:54 The Neputa at center stage is more emblematic of Aomori City's, presenting a single 3D work of fierce warriors in battle.
      Aomori City Neputa are generally made wider due to height constraints from street lights and hanging wires when paraded on the multiple lane wide Aomori City roads which pose less limits horizontally.
