Mallorca: Port de Soller WITHOUT its Biggest Attraction | Is it Vorth Visiting?

Find out if Port de Soller, without its biggest attraction, is still worth visiting in Mallorca in December 2025. What you will see may surprise you.

The iconic trams are out of service for most of December in Port de Soller, but does that mean that the rest of the port has closed down for winter?

Let me know if you would like to visit Port de Soller in December, away from the summer crowds.

  1. Hi Alex, your PIP is fine and adds a little more entertainment. What a great place to visit, I was there last June/July 2024, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately you were back in Dorset at the time. It would have been great for my wife and I to have met you. Have a great Christmas and new year. ❤❤

  2. Hi Alex. Great video. i love Port de Soller. It's very photogenic and more so without the hordes of tourists. Love the PIP. I think it would add to the enjoyment of the live streams as it's almost a 360* view Best wishes, John

  3. Great video Alex and Port de Soller looks really good. I also enjoyed the wee insert feature of yourself on the screen. Although a bit noisy in the resort it's good to see that construction works are underway for the 2026 season.

  4. Lovely in winter as summer 😎 The boat you showed at the start looks like the guy Pete Lucas from Bonnie Lass Charter. He did a channel 4 programme A New Life in the Sun which was great viewing.

  5. Lovely video Alex. Reminded me of happier times when my late wife Karen and I were regular visitors to the port over the Christmas period. Albatros was always open providing it wasn’t raining. Later on Bar Ocea underneath the Eden hotel was another favourite. We stayed at a friend’s apartment in Soller town but usually visited the port most days, such happy memories. Now on my own and a bit older I only manage an annual visit to the port in the summer. I’m already booked for 3 weeks in July. Luckily as I’ve been visiting for 18 years I have many friends and my friend Steve still lives in Soller town, so I’m not alone on my annual holiday. Love watching your videos and I like the PIP!

  6. Merci pour cette vidéo de mon lieu de vacances à Majorque depuis plus de 30 ans. Puerto a bien changé , pas toujours en bien, mais restz quand même le plus beau coin de l'île.

  7. There are residents of many nationalities who live in & close to the Port, they must love having freedom to enjoy their lovely part of the world. Our favourite cafe/bakery Can Tambora was open, we buy some lovely bocadillos from there. Thanks Alex.
