  1. PAL adds a cattle car to their fleet! The 3-4-3 economy seating in a cabin smaller than the 777 just packs them in with zero comfort. All about dollars for PAL! There is a reason nobody else has this configuration. Avoid PAL. Fly Cathay!!

  2. The 3-4-3 across seating onboard PAL's A35Ks are no surprise to me. Even though the A350 cabin walls are redesigned with reduced thickness, the seats look just as tight as the 777's 3-4-3 across seating.

  3. PAL's decision is a flop for me. I'd rather have them expand first their A350-900s, since A330s are now older than others (except B777 which is the oldest) and they should first consider expanding their regional network to become a powerhouse in SEA, and in Asia as well. Second, a 3-4-3 is the worst of all. They bring back their pre-4 Star approach. I am very well satisfied with the A350-900s configuration as it is more comfortable especially on long haul and ultra long haul flights. PAL this time put money first over comfort. An approach that cannot be seen on most 5-star and 4-star airlines.
