Are you planning a trip to the South of France? We’re sharing the ultimate 4-day Nice, France itinerary! 🇫🇷 From the glamorous streets of Monaco and the medieval charm of Eze Village, to the hidden gems of the French Alps, this is the perfect guide for first-time visitors to the French Riviera.

On this episode of Mapping It, join us as we explore the best things to do in Nice, take the most scenic train rides in France, and eat our way through the Old Town on a DIY Food Tour. Whether you’re looking for martinis in Monte Carlo or a quiet hike in Entrevaux, we’ve got you covered!

Day 1: Nice Highlights & Local Food Tour 🥖 We kick off in Vieux Nice (Old Town) for a DIY food tour! We’re trying authentic Socca (chickpea pancakes), Pissaladière, and some other delicious foods at the Cours Saleya Market in Nice. We end the day relaxing on the famous pebbled beaches of the Promenade des Anglais.

Day 2: Coastal Glamour at Cap Ferrat 🌸 A day trip to the stunning Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. We tour the villa and the stunning themed gardens overlooking the Mediterranean. It’s easily one of the most beautiful spots on the coast!

Day 3: Three iconic stops in one day! We start in Menton, the colorful “Pearl of France” and take in the beautiful views and some pastries for breakfast. Then we head to Monaco, and visit the Monte Carlo Casino for some martinis just like James Bond! In the afternoon we explore the hilltop medieval streets of Eze Village, visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory, and take in the breathtaking vies from the Jardin Exotique.

Day 4: Hidden Gems & The Train des Pignes 🚂 We leave the coast behind for a very scenic train ride to the fortified town of Entrevaux in the foothills of the Alps. We explore the 17th-century Vauban Citadel, the Gothic Cathedral, and hike to the top for incredible panoramic views. Finally, we end our trip with a sunset dinner in Antibes.
