After boarding the luxury yacht Emerald Azzurra in Athens, Sam island hopped to one of the most famous holiday locations on the planet, the beautiful island of Santorini. Formed by a volcano thousands of years ago, the spectacular lunar landscape and white-washed cave architecture has
become iconic, and for Sam, seeing it in person was truly breath-taking. She joined an Emerald Cruises DiscoverMORE tasting tour of Santo Winery in Pyrgos village. The volcanic soil produces distinctive wine flavours which were made all the more tasty with the incredible views from the terrace.
Emerald Azzurra anchored in Santorini for the entire day, allowing guests to stay and soak up the magical sunset from the picture postcard village of Oia. Having a cocktail and dinner on the cliffside, overlooking the caldera at sundown was one of those dream come true moments.

charm.
